Precise Resort El Rompido-The Hotel

Upgraded room was superb with a lovely view over the pool area. Room size and cleanliness really good, very comfortable. Breakfast was ample offering a wide choice of foods, including a freshly cooked omelette. Spa treatments were great and done by really friendly staff, spa area was good too, not over crowded albiet not the best facilities ever, still very good. Gym was great, well equiped and hardly anyone in it. All staff were helpful and freindly. Hotel grounds and views are beautiful, location superb for travelling out to local beauty spots and places to eat high quality local food.

Steam room in the spa was out of order. Spa itself was liitle outdated but still very nice to use.

The interior design of the hotel is really nice. The rooms are spacious. Beds are very good. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The quality of food in the restaurant is very good.

The resort is very much geared towards an audience playing golf (not surprising). So when the weather is not nice these groups spend a lot of time inside the resort, making it a noisy place, and the restaurant is crowded then. Don't come here if you expect quietness and rest. It would help if the a la carte restaurant was physically separated from the buffet restaurant (where the majority of people/groups tend to go).

Staff is the reason I rate my overall stay with an 8. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The ladies at the reception were very accommodating when I asked to change rooms. Barman very nice and friendly, also the staff at breakfast and dinner despite the fact that they were very busy. Location is excellent, close to El Rompido and plenty of options if you like to take a walk.

It's on the golf course, has a spa and swimming pools. So I guess that's where the 5* come from. We changed rooms (were in 239 which has a nice balcony but is located above the bar and very noisy) but both rooms were in needs of maintenance. rooms are very spacious but had hardly a place to charge electronics. Bathrooms are also in need of some renovation. Quality of food was mediocre, again considering it's 5*.

The location was great for golf and a pleasant stroll to the village. The rooms were a reasonable size and the outlook from the balcony was lovely. The food was excellent, plenty of choice so we didn’t get fed up with eating there every evening. The staff were all very helpful and efficient.

The swimming pool was not open despite the weather being reasonable and the pool in the spa was too tiny to be able to swim. The spa was also a bit dated. I would say this is a 4 star hotel not a 5 as, apart from the golf, the facilities were limited.

Quality of the room and facilities was excellent and the two golf courses attached to the hotel were in excellent condition. Staff were all friendly and helpful particularly at reception and the breakfast was ideal before heading to the golf course.

I have stayed on 4 or 5 occasions now and would struggle to find something I didn't like

Plenty of free parking, massive lobby which set the tone. Quick and friendly check in, got a good deal through Booking.com so went for a junior suite. Only planned to stay one night on Spanish road trip but stayed four. Room was great size and good terrace with sun loungers. Bathroom had both shower and jacuzzi bath, twin basins. blackout curtains and very very quiet. Breakfast was a treat with everything you could desire and fried bacon some of the best i've had. Loved this place and staff, everything just perfect (nearly)

Carpet in room slightly threadbare, no coffee making facilities (so few are offering this now), kept having to re login to wifi, had to drive to town, but being a golf resort hardly surprising or a problem

pool, beach, relaxed atmosphere, kids face-painting/kids club, breakfast!

lack of restaurant/food options in evening. dinner menu very similar to lunch and boring after 10 days!

We Loved the room, It was a free upgrade to superior Room which had a fabulous view The breakfast choice was excelent The spar facilities were excellent having to book a time to suit ourselves due to covid which worked out exceptionally well. We are so excited about going again

Room was a good size but lacked tea/coffee facility and bathroom a bit tired. Limited choice english speaking TV channels

Hotel needs some attention on decorations. looking tired in places

Relaxing and friendly. Easy going luxury. Good food and a great breakfast.

A bit secluded and not easy to get to.
