The closed location to the beach.

Really cold water in the outdoor swimming pools. At least the one for babies could have been a bit warmer. Of course we've been there at the beginning of the season and in the middle of the summer might be OK. Also the access to the indoor swimming pool was surprisingly expensive even for kids (7 euros for 90 minutes). Beside the fact that in the offer was not written that we don't have access to the indoor swimming pool and I thought that is part of the deal. I recommend dropping by 50% the access for the kids, at least for May, June &September when the water outside might be cold.

Extremely pleasant staff...all of them. Front desk exceptionally helpful with sorting various things for me. Very impressed by the team. Very well run hotel with great facilities. All inclusive worked very well. Great ocean view from our 5th floor room.

The free Wi-Fi is slow. You have to pay extra for a faster Wi-Fi which is a complication process and still quite slow speeds in reality. We are now in 2022, and so I really do feel fast speed WIFI should be freely available to everyone without any fuss or bother.

right on the beach with a beach exit behind the pool, lovely pool area, lots of sun loungers available but very squashed together making most of them hard to get on and off. if you need a shady area then as you come down to you left by the side bar there are lots of trees, that stayed pretty shady till after lunch, there is a shade structure by the entertainment area but its for wheelchair users so we weren't allowed to use it which was a shame as there were no wheelchair uses there. and umbrellas are not massively useful as not much room to move the loungers around to stay in the shade. staff very helpful and friendly, plenty of food and drink. I've no kids and not there for the entertainment but the kids club and entertainment staff all did a great job and very enthusiastic. nice rooms, had a fridge to keep snacks and water cold. had an enormous bed which was great. shop next door with entrance to hotel.

please send maintenance to fix locks on all the toilets by the pool and in the restaurant. some are broken. food is amazing if you eat meat and fish but if you are vegetarian and vegan be prepared to eat pizza, pasta, potatoes and salad all week. it would be lovely to have some vegetable paella or risotto for example, or even a vegetarian burger on uk/america night or on the bar buffet. a lot of the mixed salad bowls had meat and fish mixed in. i got excited one night when i saw a sign saying chickpea stew, but that had a least 2 types of meat in in. i ate a lot and it was nice but was mostly the same every night which was a shame. just be prepared for that if you don't eat meat and fish. plenty of salad and fruit available though.

Los Tios y Primos Family from Portugal has to say that everything was exceptional! As soon as we arrived we were very well received, they even took a photo of our group of 16 people in the lobby! Our request to stay close to each other was granted, extremely attentive and ready to help in any situation (best hotel staff I have ever come across)! The buffet food for the three meals of the day was excellent with a huge variety, and at night there was always a "theme": Italian, Asian, UK, American, etc... very interesting indeed! The entire exterior (and even interior) space of the hotel is beautiful... there are three swimming pools, one with slides for everyone, another for babies with an awning to protect them from the sun, and another huge one with various depths and where there are several activities... there is more than enough space for all the sun loungers, there are shaded and sunny areas, and many grass areas... an auditorium for shows and entertainment, restaurants and bars (with a cocktail of the day at half price) , and also a direct passage to the beach (the sea in Spain is incredible!)... the rooms have some of the best sound insulation I've ever been to, the only thing is the windows aren't 100% perfect, but it was never a problem for anyone, we all slept the nights in a row (the beds were huge and very confy)! Evene the corridors to the rooms... very greenery, iluminated and spacious! Everything was perfect! Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, to all the staff at Estival Islantilla for providing us with a memorable week! Los Tios y Primos are eternally grateful!

This is a warning to all tourists who choose this area for their holidays. There is extensive, open and free parking near the hotel and the beach where we parked a car for practical reasons (where we kept parasols and beach rackets). Don't do it. There are stupid people who go around breaking windows and searching cars thinking that people leave something valuable in cars (stupid therefore). If possible, leave your car in front of the hotel, or even in the private parking lot (this is paid separately). Our car had a broken window, but it has now been repaired and we have a cement brick as a souvenir.

The resort is very well designed and organized, with several pools, lots of green areas, many water attractions for children, and a direct access to the beach. The reception, restaurant and cleaning staff was, as always, extremely nice and welcoming.

Our mattress was very uncomfortable (we could feel the springs while sleeping). The bed structure was also squeaking a lot and would wake up our daughter in the night. The cleaning was also not as good as in our previous stays. Overall, we spent a great week but left with the feeling that the room we were into could use a bit of maintenance and refurbishement.

- Big and spacious room with king size bed! - Mini kitchen and fridge was handy - Amazing rooms hall, with lots of plants - Incredible restaurant, lots and lots of food for every one including celiac and vegetarian people, both for breakfast and dinner! - Main pool is amazing - Location with direct conection to the front beach

- If i had to point something it would be the gym facilities, it could be more complete, some basic instruments were missing - Free parking is also difficult, especially at the end of the day - Spa was not included, if not mistaken it was 12€ per hour

All facilities were always clean, the food and drinks offer was good value (not just hamburgers and sausages during day, but also chicken, Mexican and salads). All meals had always great variety of food and they were good as well. The pool temperature was marvelous and the slides for the kids were awesome. The room had plenty of space although the closet doors were stuck.

All animation was poor for an all inclusive resort, even more the kids animation, was very amateur and most of kids didn’t understood them so in most cases kids weren’t playing along with them in their show. The all inclusive is not 100% all inclusive since there are drinks that were paid even for the AI bracelets, but the most annoying was the spa, 7€/person per 90 minutes is just too much. I understand the 90 minutes to give time for all but to make AI clients pay that is not fair.

Good location next to de beach. Great pools with nice waterslides. Felt secure with the amount of lifeguards onsite. Good buffet (breakfast and dinner). Family Oriented.

Room was small with little space so pack things. Small kitchen with no accessories to cook (just some plates and forks and knifes that weren't enough for the number of persons on the room. (I suspect that if I asked the hotel would probably provide those but if you book a room for 4 (2 adults and 2 kids) there should be enough silverware at least.

The buffet organization, the food, the bars and the pool area were pretty good

Some things are not included in the All Inclusive such as "real" coffee. Could only use the beds in the beach half the day. To use it the entire day it was not free. The animation could be better.

This is perfect for an active family - very busy with fun & noise. Breakfast selection is excellent. Staff are very friendly.

Definitely not suitable for people who want to relax and don’t have children. Breakfast should be served from 7am instead of 8am. More lifeguards/pool supervision needed when busy. Too noisy, kids screaming but they are having fun!
