At first, you may think that my review is too much, but this place is absolutely amazing for anyone who likes a quite place in the city centre (yes, it is possible), and for someone who spends most of the day out. The staff was so friendly they even gave us directions and a map of Granada's best attractions. The only con of this place is there is no elevator, but as long as your luggage is average, it won't be a problem.

Very affordable single rooms. I was traveling with a friend and opted to pay a little more for separate rooms. I loved the sink in the room. I never had issues getting into the bathroom when I needed it like other places I stayed during my trip. I think this was because we didn't need the bathroom just for the sink. Minimal room which was all I needed. I appreciated that they let us check in a little early.

A little noisy (street noise) but given the location that is to be expected. I barely ever heard the other guests.

Very central location. Lots of restaurants nearby and close to all major attractions. The room is small but has everything I need and a window with nice view! The AC is totally working when it’s desperately needed by someone like me. But the highlight of my stay was absolutely the statt Carlos. He was responsive with communication from the moment I made the reservation till I Checked out! He went beyond and above to help me get a ticket to visit Alhambra because I didn’t plan my trip ahead. Without any luck, he still helped me book a walking tour of the Alhambra which was really great!

I went to Granada for hiking in the mountains of Sierra Nevada. I had to make complex arrangements with the staff to allow me very early check-out and collecting my luggage in the afternoon after closing the reception desk. However everything turned to be very easy. The staff was quickly replying for my questions before arrival and they organized everything when I was there. Finally my mountain trip was amazing!

The location is exceptional in the zona peotonal just a few steps to the plaza Trinidad and a block or two to the cathedral. It's good that they clean your room at your request. It was good that over the course of a week there was no waiting time ever for the shared bathroom. The lady at the front desk was helpful and cordial.

The pension is a bit run down. It needs some loving care especially in the hallways and the awning at the entrance. It would be good for the room to have a drinking glass. It would be good for the room to have a small wardrobe. The heater air conditioner has a piece that takes up most of the balcony and makes significant noise. The wash basin doesn't have the standard odor trap, so from time to time odors can come up into the room from the drain. This can be alleviated by running some water down the drain, but you don't want to have to get up when you're sleeping because there's an odor and you need to run the water. The room needs another electrical outlet near the bed.

The place is really covenient for travel around. It just located in the center place of Granada. Only a few minutes from Cathedral.

We are two young men travellnig, and there was no two separate beds room left. It's a little embarrassed to sleep on that small bed and always feel like going to drop down.

It was perfect! It’s more than central and the staff is super nice! Sergio even came to the station after leaving because I left my power back in the hostel! Can you believe it? It’s amazing! Really more than recommended!

A bit noisy from the street

Oh what a spot.. a great location if you’re coming to Granada. I actually got updated to a bigger room because it was their quiet season which was lovely. Facilties are fine and the receptionist was super friendly.

Does get a little loud at night time but I’m such a deep sleeper so it didn’t worry me much. Overall I enjoyed my stay at Pension Mesones.

The location is excellent and the staff was very kind and helpful. I was let into the room before check-in time and they safely kept my bags after the check-out. I also liked the fact that there was a sink in the room and the bed was comfortable.

Pension Mesones is an amazing centrally situated spot in town. Within minutes Plaza Nueva - the epicentre to reach the Alhambra or Albaicín - can be reached by feet. We really enjoyed the pension's vicinity to the cathedral and to many restaurants too. The spot is really amazing!

Well, on a Saturday night you better prepare for a noisy night. We wanted to close the night at around midnight - but till 4am the streets were lively. Other nights were nice and calm, but Saturdays you better plan long 😉
