All in all, a great hotel. Location was fantastic - didn’t feel we needed many taxis only for the lazy day. The receptionist (name was Greg possibly?) was super helpful as we arrived and gave us a quick lowdown as to what we mustn’t miss while we were in Granada. Nothing was too much trouble for any of the reception staff. The room itself had everything one could need: we had a fridge (super nice touch in the middle of August); a super powerful hairdryer - a nice change from the weak ones you usually find in hotels. Shower was great and bathroom was kitted with full complementary toiletries. The room was very spacious with a sofa and an arm chair; superb ac that kept the room cool during August (39c). Lots of ample storage and spectacular views over the picturesque cobbled streets of Granada. We were lucky to have a beautiful view of Alhambra up above us. Finally, the room decor was modern alongside the respectfully restored old features of the building.

Very little not to like: only thing was the frosted bathroom door- if someone was using the bathroom at night, the other persons sleep would be disturbed as the whole bedroom would be lit up from the bright bathroom lights shining through. A double bed over two singles pushed together would have been better.

1. Guy at the reception desk is very friendly and attentive. He was there to help or provide guidance on Granada. 2. They have a complementary wine and two bottles of water at the room 3. The AC is not directly flows to the bed, so you decrease a chance of getting a cold 4. The beds are extremely comfy 5. The room was very clean and neat 6. The hotel itself looks interesting and combines old and new. Very nice. 7. The price was reasonable for a room with no view to the fortress. If we ever get back to Granada we'll try to book this hotel.

1. There is no kettle/tea at the room, however, you have a Nespresso machine, a kettle and tea for everyone to use on the second floor. So you can get a coffee/tea anyway. 2. WiFi in our room worked very badly 3. There were no slippers.

Centrally located. Transportation was easy to use and available, except on Sunday. Loved the Alhambra and the flamenco show in the cave. There are a lot of shops and restaurants around the area. Some shops like pharmacies are closed on Sundays. I was ill while there 😕, no fault of their’s, and didn’t do as much as I’d like to do.

Taxi service are a bit challenging on Sunday. I was only there for a 2 days and left on a Sunday. The hotel staff ordered a taxi for me to get to the bus station only to find out there was some sort limitation on vehicle accessibility on that day, luckily I was 4 minutes away from taxi area, which I walked to with my luggage (and I didn’t travel light) only to find no taxis going my way and a line of people also waiting. Luckily I was able to access an Uber and made it to bus stations in the nick of time (2 minutes before scheduled time).

Breakfast wasn’t included however we went to the recommended adjoining cafe & had breakfast there which was good . We enjoyed the location, conveniently close to the attractions, restaurants, bars etc. Greg on reception was extremely helpful & gave good instructions as to where we could visit. His customer service was excellent!

Whilst the room was reasonably comfortable, the air conditioning in the room was directly above your head and quite powerful for such a small room so wrongly positioned. There didn’t appear to be any way to make the top overhead shower work. The wood floor into the bathroom area had a large hole which needs looking at.

The location is amazing, can't imagine being in a better place in Granada. The place is very stylish and classy, the beds are comfortable, bathroom was perfect, the staff was helpful and very friendly.

I would not recommend taking room number 303 because there is a room 302 above that when anyone is moving chairs or turning on tv you can hear them as if they were in your room. Unfortunately there were people having a birthday party above us and we couldn't sleep for the entire night before our trip back home. That was the only thing that spoiled the perfect memory of this place.

First and most important, the people. Concierge Grigor was most welcoming and helpful with local sights, food, and specifics on local transportation. Concierge Antonio checked us out with smiles and easy luggage storage so we could make the best of our last few hours in Granada. And the attached but independent café had many choices of delicious breakfast and lunch - from breakfast bowls with fruit to toasts with avocado, ham, and tomato. Great friendly service and café cortado too. The room we were in had a fantastic view of an Alcazaba tower and walls and buildings of the Alhambra above the Darro River. It was well-designed for spaciousness, quiet, and harmonious furnishings.

The internet was spotty one night.

Large, beautiful room (superior with balcony) overlooking the stream and looking up at the Alhambra. Great cafe attached to the hotel lobby. Extraordinarily helpful and friendly staff though note that there is no staff onsite in the overnight hours. Ideal location - old town, everything is close by (be advised, this end of town is largely up and down hills wherever you go so plan accordingly). The Hotel is in the "no private car" part of town so you will either need to use a taxi or park outside and drag your luggage in from wherever you park (much like parts of the Gothic Quarter in Barcelona, except not so flat, lol). We loved it!

The HVAC was noisy, the fan rattled when on the low setting. The bed was hard for side sleepers.

Antonio on the first day was very welcoming and gave us suggestions for eating and what to see . Together with an overview of the City. The room was well maintained and modern and the public areas where stylish with a modern twist on Andulucian style. Tea and coffee available on the landing which suited us. Great shower with lots of amenities. Toothbrush tooth paste, tissues shower caps, razor and good quality shampoo etc. Bed was comfortable as two singles. Seating area with water of first day and small bottle of wine. 3 different type of pillows. Strong shower and good hairdryer.

Internal room thought it would be quiet but had noisy neighbours with child still up at 2am. No staff overnight so could not do anything about it. Basically sound proofing is not good. Also our room was not serviced next day. We had not left our do not disturb sign on so no idea why. We chose an internal room and knew that our window was onto the landing but the lighting in the room was poor.Very small wardrobe and no case stand or coat hooks.

Great location, beautiful hotel and the room with the view of Alhambra. Nice smell inside. Interesting decorations on the wall, the building and design felt quite authentic.

Unfortunately, there was construction work on the building just outside the hotel. Obviously, not the hotel’s fault. But it was a bit noisy so we didn’t have the windows open, as we would normally do. There was also wonderful aroma outside from some wild flowers or trees, that could be felt in the room if we kept the window open… so it was a shame we had to keep them closed.

The bed was very very comfortable, great shower pressure, staff very friendly and helpful, clean room, great location close to transport and restaurants.

Be aware of the parking situation! We didn’t read the description properly and thought the property had parking which is not the case. Parking is at a public parking garage, which is about a 10-minute walk from the property and €25 per 24h (with discount from the hotel). The narrow streets of Granada are not easy to navigate so be prepared for that.
