Great base for a stay in Granada, right on the main plaza. You’ll be surrounded by plenty of shops & options to eat. Plenty of public transport. Granada Cathedral is 2 minutes walk. I took a taxi up to The Alhambra for less than 5 euros. Most importantly, Clean & safe for a solo traveler.

The only thing I didn’t like, which had nothing to do with the management of the hotel, was the noise at night.

Location is right in the centre of town. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Huge room, safe and tea/coffee and kettle. Parking was available for €20 per day just a short walk from the hotel. Would definitely stay again

The parking was a very tight squeeze. The hotel give good instructions how to get to the parking and it is important to follow their directions from exit 13, not google maps. Would not bring a car next visit. We were in a room next to a stair well, with the light on all night. We needed the window open to let air in. Still worth the stay with the location and great stsff

We arrived via the Alhambra bus, which dropped us off right across the plaza from the hotel. We booked the family room, which was *huge* by European standards and also comes with a small outdoor patio space. It was the only room on the floor, so it was also very quiet and private, which we liked. The room was very clean, the hotel staff friendly, and the optional continental breakfast was a nice, inexpensive and convenient option. We only spent one night in the hotel - I wish it could have been for longer - but it was a perfect stay for us. Thank you!

The location is fantastic, and we were lucky enough to be put in one of the rooms with a mini balcony overlooking the Plaza Nueva itself - loads of opportunities for people watching!

The availability of parking is great, but the instructions were really confusing. Given that the parking is already difficult to access, this really added to the stress! It should be made clear that by providing your license plate to the hotel, you become an 'authorised vehicle' (because you will need to pass 3-4 signs with cameras saying only authorised vehicles and emergency services allowed!), the instructions should be available in English rather than being left to automatic translation (because this also translates the street names, making them difficult to identify...), and rather than simply saying 'GPS is not reliable in Granada' they could be a bit more specific about what that means, e.g. that certain streets are wrongly marked as one-way when they are not.

This hotel has the superb location, but not only that, it offers a car parking (upon prior reservation, 20€ per day), the hotel staff are super helpful and friendly, it's clean, comfortable and if you like to have your breakfast at the hotel, it offers one, which was fairly good and supplied our needs. I don't understand how come it is rated 1*. Personally, never do I stay at 1* hotels, but considering the location and the superb reviews, I decided to go for it and I that was a great bet. Thank you, Hotel Plaza Nueva's staff for making our stay in Granada great!

Everything was great except for one thing. The location could not have been better, perfect for walking up to the Alhambra, three minutes to the cathedral, excellent. it was clean and our room was pleasant.

I booked a twin room. Every twin room I have stayed in up until now has had two single (twin) beds. Ours had a double. Neither my niece or I particularly wanted to share a bed but there were no ‘actual’ twin rooms available. We were told a twin could have one bed and we should have specified. Well, I thought by booking a twin I had specified.

The hotel is at an amazing location, central to the old part of the city. We were able to walk to all tourist spots, including to Alhambra Palace. There were many bars and restaurants as well as a Churros place for breakfast and a small convenience store nearby. There is a Restaurant right next door that is the hotel breakfast place in the morning, but at night they become a normal restaurant, and they are amazing. needs booking advance if you want to make sure you get seats. The Hotel is dated, but it was kept very clean. Kettle, instant coffee/tea available in the room.

Our room was next to the cleaners' space, and I got woken up early in the morning by the sound of running water and bucket. - I guess this means they really take their time to clean. The room felt very warm while sleeping, although the heating was off (guess much better than cold).

The location is great. Right next to shops bars and restaurants. Parking is very close payable at the hotel by pre book. Host was friendly. Check in was quite lengthy for 6 of us trying to connect the smart lock to our phones. We had the penthouse family room with a little terrace that looks over the rooftops. Very pretty. And great value for money. Well worth it for 4 but I'd book it for 2 because of the views and terrace. Our friends had a twin room on the. Floor below which was very small and quite dark. OK just to sleep in. They joined us on our terrace for morning coffee and evening drinks. Very enjoyable. The Top floor penthouse has private steps from the lift up to the door so feels secluded from the floor below. On the last day when we where checking out we realised there was a free coffee hot chocolate etc machine in the little lobby seating area. A nice touch. We didn't book breakfast so can't comment on that but we saw their little dining room that looked sweet. This property is good value for money clean and the location is great.

A bit of a faff with a lot of you checking in to get the electronic key thing on your mobile phone. Downloading the app etc

The view from the room was fantastic, the Plaza Nueva and the Alhambra on the hill. The path to the Alhambra was opposite the hotel. There were bars and restaurants and the Albayzin District steps away from the hotel. The staff were very helpful. Free coffee in reception. The ability to drive and park at the hotel was a bonus and the instructions easy to follow. We had a fabulous stay.

The Plaza Nueva was very noisy 24 hours a day and the noise carried even to the 3rd floor. But we knew this was the case and the central location was worth it.

1. No parking near Hotel. No approach by private car, only by taxi. Hotel offers parking in 700m away for 20€ which makes it more expensive than other city parking sites. Had to get there by walk by bumpy stone pavement road with luggage and baby carriage... Awful. 2. Terrible view from window of Room 11 on backstreet wall with smell from restaurant exhaust. 3. Broken shower tab and shower glass door passes water from cabin on the bathroom floor.
