Excellent location with high quality accommodation. Staff very friendly and hugh choice for the wonderful breakfast. We had two suites for the party of 4. Both rooms were superb with seperate bathrooms with shower and jacuzzi bath. Building features were quaint adding to the overall experience. The hop on hop off Tour Train Stop 3 is 200m from hotel and well worth trip to get overview of Granada. NB: upgrade to the plug-in headphones with English version for €1.50. Not a hotel for family with small children. Great for a special treat.

The hotel had no bar but we found one very close by. Other than that, I couldn't fault the hotel.

This hotel is one of the best hotels I've stayed at. I can't recommend it highly enough, it's located in a great location, where it's very walk able to any part of Granada with a slight view of the Alhambra. Right next door are great cafes and it's walkable to pretty much any part of the city. I can't wait to come back! Tons of character in this hotel and the entrance you walk through multiple court yards. Taxi's drive you within 100m of the hotel.

Nothing, the only complaint I can see from other's is that if you have a car it's hard to get to. However, this is in Granada so anything is difficult with a car. Fly into Málaga and train or bus to Granada and then take a cab from there and it'll be no problem at all.

Palacio de Mariana Pineda is in a beautiful old building in a fabulous location with well decorated rooms at various levels off a central courtyard. Some of the rooms have views to the Alambra and a bonus for us was being able to watch the Semana Santa parades pass by on our street from the balcony. It’s near taxis, great bus services, plenty of restaurants and cafes and easy walking or busing everywhere. The pictures of the rooms and hotel description are accurate. The staff were excellent. We would come back here again

We loved everything about Palacio de Mariana Pineda with all its wonderful nooks and crannies. Our room was charming and our bed was very comfortable. The staff at reception, especially Jose, were extremely helpful and gave really good recommendations on places to see and how to get there. The ladies in the breakfast room were equally as nice and very friendly. It’s location to all important sights was perfect.

- We had a room to the street and it was very loud - We did not enjoy the room du much. Quite dark and the furniture looked old, but were not really authentic

I booked one of the suites with Alhambra views and it was fantastic. The room had a vintage feel to it, with a four poster bed, but was very comfortable with great AC. It’s dated but not in a run down way, seems very intentional and I enjoyed not staying in a cliche modern hotel while in Granada. Lovely building and interior spaces.

The breakfast offered a large variety of drinks, juice, protein food, breads, cheeses and meats and typical local breakfast food. The staff was most helpful and friendly and went out of their way to make sure our needs were met. We had a sweet treat to enjoy every day. We were able to walk everywhere!!

We stupidly hadn’t appreciated our room was internal facing. I know the area has no private car access due to it being in a World Heritage Site, but the recommended car park with whom the hotel has a relationship for reduced fees is something of an experience for the visitor - nevertheless, eventually found a space and the car was still there two days later!

Centrally located by Plaza Nuevo, within easy walking distance to the Alhambra, taxi stand and shopping and restaurant district around the Cathedral. The premises are well maintained and you can absolutely feel the history. It adjoins the 3 star Hotel Casa del Capitel Nazari, but I’d rather spend a bit more and stay here.

breakfast room was not fit for purpose . not big enough for size of hotel . we were not able to sit together as no room. we had to sit near kitchen door and along side where food was, so constant people where we were eating. coffee and tea should be served at table as a queue all the time trying to make coffee from a machine where you could only make one cup !! we ate out after first morning
