Great location, we had a super big balcony with a wonderful view, very nice breakfast, very clean hotel, very polite staff. The hotel looks like a cruiser with two decks for sunbathing. The lower "deck", (where you also can take your breakfast), offers direct access to the ocean via a stairway - we liked this very much! After swimming, stairs up, you are back to the "deck" and your deck chair, you can order a drink and enjoy sunbathing and the view. Great value for money!

Maybe a thing or two need repair, but nothing serious. For a 3 star hotel perfect.

Location superb and the beach is lovely clean sand - the right colour too! Not that black grit so often used on the more popular end south western beaches. The room was bright clean and we have no complaints. The staff were very helpful and attentive to our requirements. We hope to be back within the next 6 months.

Tenerife South airport - vast impersonal and not user friendly. Our plane going out was delayed because of " probelms at Tenerife" - we arrived 35 minutes after schedule to find the entry passport control overwhelmed; our booked taxi had gone, and their desk staff disinterested. We queued for a taxi, leaving the airport 90 minutes after landing. Advice - do not book on line, book a taxi through your airline, if possible.

Lovely hotel in the perfect location. Not the most modern but I knew this before booking. I had a sea view room with a balcony which was lovely, the sea is literally underneath. Friendly staff, spotless rooms with comfortable beds. Great sun terrace where you can eat breakfast or sunbathe. Beach towels provided at no cost. Breakfast was good with the usual offerings. A microwave is available (I popped mine in it for a minute because I like my food hot). I know El Medano well which is why I chose the hotel - its a very chilled town with a great beach and a great vibe - predominantly Canarian/Spanish with European visitors - you won't find British bars/restaurants here if that's what you're looking for. Only 10 minutes from the airport and 20 minutes from Los Cristianos. I had a perfect stay. Thank you.

The hotel El Medano was amazing hotel - from the outside it doesn't look much but it beautiful on the inside, I would recommend this hotel as the staff were very polite and smiling - made your holiday. The cleanliness is everywhere and your room was perfect every day. In your room was a fridge, safe, kettle and cups which really surprised me as the website standard room only with balcony and seaview didn't mention these items. The bathroom is fab too not like what you see on their website. We only booked bed and breakfast but breakfast selection was amazing too, we really looked forward to our breakfast every morning - thank you

The beds, very squeaky and uncomfortable and pillows too soft - so they need to sort out.

The hotel served as the ideal setting for the final day of our travels. Positioned directly along the seaside, one could effortlessly step from the hotel's pier into the water. Its proximity, just a 5-minute walk from the bus station, provided convenient connections to various destinations. The rooms were clean, and the staff, exceptionally helpful and courteous, assisted us with any queries. Our room, located on the tranquil side of the hotel, offered a pleasant view from the balcony. Additionally, the breakfast was not only tasty but also a delightful start to the day. Thank you very much.

Given its popularity as a tourist hub, the reception area tended to be quite bustling. However, the staff handled the situation pretty well.

Great location, close to all the life in El Medano. The room (Superior double with Sea View) was spacious with plenty of storage and a mini fridge. The large terrace had table, chairs and two sunloungers. A kettle with tea and coffee making items is provided. Small safe was available at a small daily charge. The bathroom was large with over bath shower and bidet.

It should be noted that there is no air conditioning or fan in the rooms, although with the see breeze it may not be too uncomfortable in the hot weather. The flatscreen TV had a wide range of channels but none from UK. BBC was listed, but there was no signal. Breakfast buffet had a good range of hot and cold foods, although the 'hot' selection was never really very hot. Likewise the coffee machine delivered not very hot liquids.

The location is Ace and so quiet , no noise no traffic no loud music . The sound of d sea all night in your bedroom is beautiful and their terraces are with spectacular sea views and the volcano.

Breakfast wasn’t good , there wasn’t enough , always running out not replenishing the food when it ran out not a great choice of food . The beds were not comfortable and my goodness please get some proper pillows to sleep on .The towels for the terraces have had their day they are worn out .

The location is by far the best feature of this hotel; situated in the heart of El Medano with a sundeck area over the sea and direct access to the sea. The level of room we stayed in was good. Great views from the balcony

The room was pretty hot and could have benefitted from A/C or a least a ceiling fan

The Hotel has a wonderful location . The breakfast was pretty good . No sun on balcony in the room we were in until late afternoon. You can’t drive to the Hotel so you have to park the car and drag your bags to the Hotel, this wasn’t too bad there are a few spaces here and there in the streets . All in all a great spot to stay.

No parking is the big weakness. All in all it’s a good place.

This property is a hidden gem. The staff are all very welcoming and efficient. The hotel itself is in a great location and is spotlessly clean. It has a lovely sun terrace which has stairs going down to the sea… so you don’t need to get all sandy on the beach. The breakfast is buffet style which is varied and sets you up for the day. It overlooks Montana Rioja which is idyllic, I cannot wait to go back next year.

The only downside is that the property doesn’t have air conditioning. However we just leave the window open to get a sea breeze.. the views, location and the hotel experience make up for no air con for us.
