Traveling for the first time with our two little babies, our expectations were very low, but this place transformed our experience into a wonderful vacation. The management's pictures on Booking and TripAdvisor are totally accurate, and you will receive your room exactly like that 🤩 The excellent location means you are close to everything you need: attractions, good restaurants, stores, and supermarkets to buy supplies. **Pros:** - Very clean, comfortable, and well-kept spacious rooms. - Plenty of space and a lot of comfort, perfect for families: two spaces, a nice sofa bed, TVs, a washing machine, dryer, oven… You won’t miss any home comforts. - Small balcony with a beautiful view of Gran Vía, a nice extra. - La 14 bar/cafeteria is very convenient, and the food is delicious. - The rooftop bar with live music in the evening on weekends is superb and made our stay stunning. - Cabinets to organize all your belongings.

**Cons:** - Not a big deal, but you pay the price of being on Gran Vía with the noise of the main street. Ambulances and sirens can be heard each night. - I missed a pair of extra pillows.

Just a minor thing but not really something we disliked about the property: we had a phone in the room but it never worked. We reported it but the technician never went to fix it, but again, thankfully we didn’t need to use it

The apartment is beautiful and well equipped. Nice to have a swim in the rooftop pool in the morning. Friendly and helpful staff. Location is great, good starting point to visit Madrid.

Opening hours of the pool: would be nice to have a swim after a day of Madrid (after 18:00). The rooftop bar parties can be noisy.

Modern small apartment, we had a suite on top floor. Good little kitchen, including fridge, freezer, washing machine and small dishwasher. No microwave though. Right on the main street in central Madrid, so we could walk to most places of interest. Hop on touris bus stop outside the front door and a small supermarket nearby. A convenient bar on ground floor.

The outside terrace for our suite was ok, a little strange having a bath outside? Privacy wasn't ideal, however, as we could see and hear people on adjoining terrace. Also, noise from the rooftop terrace/bar above. We found the bed less than ideal, double size rather than queen, not super comfortable, and pillows were thin. Definitely something they need to improve.

The breakfast was good. The location is perfect. People were very friendly and nice. They even brought us a bottle of cava and a cheese plate when we arrived.

We traveled with son 10 yrs old and he slept on the fold-out sofa in the living room. So when its opened and a person sleeps on it, you can't get from the bedroom to the bathroom at all. This is absolutely uncomfortable. You need to wake up a person and to fold a sofa bed in order to go to the shower or to the toilet in the middle of the night! Nobody warned us about it. So in fact these apartments are NOT suitable for three or four people, as they write on the website.

The location is amazing. It is right in the middle of Madrid and very close to Gran Via Metro, which made it very easy to access from Atocha station. Once there you can walk everywhere. We found we didn't need to use transport during our stay. The apartment is stylish and modern, with extremely comfortable beds, including the sofa bed which our children slept on. This was easy to use, large and very comfy. The pool is stunning and absolutely gorgeous! What a treat! We loved this so much! Plenty of shade or sun depending on what you prefer! The staff were all really helpful and incredibly polite, helping us to feel very welcomed during our stay. We really loved our stay and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for somewhere to stay in Madrid!

Great location, walking distance to all major attractions & museums, or metro very close by, lots of restaurants & shops in the middle of Gran Via, very convenient. Room & hotel was nice, clean, comfortable, modern. Rooftop terrace very pretty, great view. Breakfast was very nice & more than we expected. Had a small issue with the shower drain clogging & water acummulated on bathroom floor, was repaired very quickly.

Pull-out couch was not very comfortable to sleep on for 2 adults. Terrace was closed one evening for a private event, which was disappointing, & pool is very small & was crowded with no available seating.

LOVED having a kitchenette and has the accessories we needed to have basic breakfasts in the room. A washer & dryer to clean clothes in the middle of our two week stay was awesome! The value for this property is great. Super convenient central location. Friendly front desk staff!

Furnishings in the living room area were a bit rickety. The sofa bed, while convenient, was not very comfortable. I wouldn’t suggest this as a bed for any adult. The shower in our bathroom flooded the bathroom floor and the bathroom was super cramped - especially when using the toilet. Otherwise, the bathroom was chic! The pool area felt unmonitored by staff. There was a bar area that was not staffed during the day. The lounge chairs were very stained and somewhat dirty. There is not enough space for the families that flock to this apartment style property. Plus, one family of 5 was dominating an area for the entire day - saving seats for hours at a time while no one used the seats. The pool area should have a staff member attending during hot summer months.

The hotel is located directly in the center of Madrid, everything can be reached within walking distance and you have many restaurants, cafés, shops, super markets etc. in the area. The staff was very friendly and the rooms are spacious with a huge bathroom, kitchen area, bedroom, living room with option to sleep on the couch and a small balcony. I stayed with my two sisters so we took one of the larger rooms. The hotel has a very nice rooftop with a small pool and some sunbeds. Of course when the hotel is booked, there is not enough space and especially when the bar is opened it gets busy and also non-hotel guests stay at the rooftop which you need to be aware of. Otherwise great for staying in the city.

There were constructions ongoing during our visit. Unfortunately we woke up at 6 am in the morning from a huge noise next to the building. We called the reception and luckily they took very good care of it so it did not happen again.

We stayed here for our honeymoon. We couldn't have picked a better place to stay. First things first. The staff at SmartRental Collection Gran Via Capital are absolutely fantastic. They are credit to themselves and the company. Patient, polite and most of all kind with a wonderful professionalism. From Maria on front desk to Ana & Marta for their enquiries during our stay making sure everything was to our satisfaction. Extra Special to the absolute superstar that is Miguel on the front desk. Miguel could not have been more helpful or accommodating in all that we engaged him on. We were enjoying our stay so much that we tried to extend by a further night. Unfortunately availability was limited but Miguel could not have been more helpful in reassuring us that we could leave our luggage after check out until we needed to travel to the airport. A special mention also to Ismail for being so patient and kind with us in the night / early morning we left. Again nothing was too much trouble. Ismail even offered to help carry our luggage. In every interaction I witnessed the team have with all guests - they were professional, polite, kind and courteous. An elite level customer service. Our stay - We arrived very early 10am and were unable to grab an early check in. No worries the team stored our luggage so we could explore Madrid that very morning. Upon returning mid afternoon we had a cocktail in the bar whilst we waited. Miguel came and found us, apologizing profusely that our check in would be delayed. We were immediately offered a later check out and our first round of drinks on the house as compensation. What amazing customer service this was. When we did check into our apartment it exceeded our expectations. We did not realize the room would have a small terrace which although not being enough to sit on had standing room and was accessible by the main room and bedroom and provided natural light and air.

There was nothing to dislike.
