I love the concept and setup. The pods are actually much more spacious than the pictures give credit. Great value for a solo traveller. Location was amazing! Loved having my own space but economical and high quality. The efficiency and design was really impressive. Despite being next to the hall and door the pods are pretty much sound proof, the automatic light shut off was also a plus. The storage and desk setup really added to the use of space, The hangers were also a huge bonus, love being able to hang my coat and dress shirts! Perfect for digital nomad and business travellers on a budget looking for a central location near great food and shopping!
I had a back issue while there so the extra soft bed was a bit problematic but normally I would have loved that level of softness. The magnets on the stalls/showers in bathroom did add a bit of noise even if you try to be quiet. Only an issue for the early risers/late sleepers. Everything else was perfect! Would have been happy to stay longer!

The concept of the pod is really great.
The price is a bit high. Also, and this is not the hostel fault, I think the people is more noisy as they seem not be aware of other people in the room, as the pod gives you your own space. I suppose is the bad side of the pod's concept.

Nestled in the heart of the old town Malaga,COEO Pod Hostel offers a sanctuary for solo travelers seeking both comfort and camaraderie. My stay in their single room ‘POD’ was nothing short of exceptional. First impressions mattered, and COEO Pod Hostel exceeded expectations. The single room was impeccably clean, adorned with a cute design that added a touch of personality to the space. The POD concept provided a cozy haven, allowing for privacy without sacrificing social interaction. What truly made my experience unforgettable was the warmth of the staff and fellow guests. The communal areas were another highlight. Whether it was the kitchen, or shared bathrooms, each space was meticulously maintained, fostering a sense of comfort and homeliness.
1-Adding a hairdryer would be beneficial, providing guests with the convenience of drying their hair. 2-The nearby bar's lively ambiance occasionally infiltrated the room through the window, disturbing the peaceful atmosphere. Soundproofing the walls could mitigate this issue, ensuring guests have an undisturbed night's rest despite external noise.

Great for a digital nomad. Good social spot, tiny pod rooms for private work (its tiny but you can sit and have a bookshelf desk, easily best value in town. The pods are more like tiny tiny rooms, which is fine. The place is fresh and modern, which is a relief in Malaga. The internet wifi was around 20-25 megabytes inside the rooms, the mobile network about the same. I stayed in a room without windows, the ac was good and the airflow made me not notice there was no window.
You can hear the neighbours a bit, but for me was good enough, at this price point and set up. Its not widly disturbing noises, more low chatter when people talk and move around. That said its a combined hostel dorm experience, except you have your tiny little private space, which makes a lot of difference.

I genuinely like this type of hostels because I don't like sleeping with other people at the same room. This hostel is nice . It has everything you may need, good WiFi connection and perfect location. Staff was very kind and helpful. Very affordable price.
Comparing to other pod hostels I have been this one seems to lack some things like towels ,toiletries( you should pay 3 euro if you would want towels). Also opening the doors is with key card . In my opinion opening through your phone is better. I've been stressed every time about losing the card or forgetting her inside of the room. It was clean in the common spaces but noone has cleaned my pod for 4 days . I don't have problem in general but when you are a girl in such a small space we all know your hair is falling all the time and yes one sweep of the floor would be nice. There is not a bin inside of the pod , only outside .

I enjoyed my stay at this hostel. I was prepared for the extremely small size of the room, so I did not take large luggage. Overall it was comfortable and enough space for two people for a short stay. I liked that all the guests had their own space, and the shower and toilet were not shared by all the guests, but shared between several pots. All employees are very friendly and offer many activities for guests. The location is also great, you can walk to the Picasso Museum in 5 minutes. It takes about 20 minutes to walk to the sea.
1. There is only one outlet in the sweat for two people. It caused a lot of inconvenience 2. At night, when all the lights are off, the green sensor lights up on the ceiling and disturbs sleep 3. Some guests were noisy in the late hours, and the poor sound insulation in the pot also did not allow a good night's sleep

The pod was very nice, enough space for my stuff and nice application of the charging spot. The hostel was in general quiet. Of course as it is a central spot might hear some noise from the street but they provide earplugs for that. Personally, I didn’t even have to use them. The hostel organises a lot of events which is good if you want to meet new people. The lobby is very cozy for some days that you need to relax there. The reception is 24hrs and there is a bar at the ground floor where you can enjoy food or drinks. The staff is very friendly and with a positive energy! 😁 I surely recommend it. Last but not least, the hostel is located in the heart of the center of Malaga. Bus station also in walking distance. It was my first time staying in a hostel and I am very satisfied with this one !
The shower could be a bit more spacious in my opinion.

Love that I had my own little room and it was spacious enough to unpack my stuff (one handbag). The hostel (common area and bathroom) is kept pretty clean. Location is ideal in the centrum but a bit outside of where the hustle and bustle of the city is. The staff is super friendly and helpful. They have their own activities which you can join.
The flow of the airconditioning gets less at night sometimes which can make it warm under the covers. The bedsheets were kind of dingy. The bed had a dent which could make it uncomfortable. Noise isolation could be better, especially at the rooms across the entrance and bathroom.

The location was very central and the staff were lovely and helpful. Particularly when I arrived very late from a delayed flight. The common area was mostly quiet and seems to attract polite, like-minded people. The WiFi was adequate throughout the building The social club below had a very good value breakfast 👌
I booked a pod with a top bunk because it was cheaper, but I found climbing in and out was a slight inconvienience, so if I book again I would opt for a lower bunk. The USB charger was not charging my phone properly, but there is an ordinary plug available and I had an adapter so this was fine. The overhead lighting is slightly harsh, but there is a low light option I used most of the time

Each pod is its own private bedroom - walk inside and close the door. It includes a mirror, counter top, shelves and hooks inside each one. For an 8 pod dorm, there are two side by side sinks to be shared. There are two private toilets with full height doors and the two showers are separate. They supply paper towels, soap and shampoo. Reception desk is staffed 24 hours and they don’t step away for long. There is a bar, kitchen, tables and sofas and COEO holds guest events, even for those who are no longer staying there. It’s a group chat.
€3 to rent a bath towel No cook top Elevator is incredibly slow and most everything is one floor up - not a problem for me.
