The hotel is centrally located in the old town area, near the beautiful Plaza Merced. You step out into the maze of narrow streets alive with bars, restaurants and clubs. Despite that the internal room was peaceful. The whole hotel was spotless and well-maintained. The staff were super pleasant and helpful. The hotel's choices of bright reds and stark blacks against the white walls certainly reflected the name! Room facilities were sufficient for a short stay, but may be a little lacking for a longer one. The lobby area was being "refurbished" at the time we visited, so will be different to later visitors.

Fabulous hotel in a marvellous position in the old city within walking distance of all the sights, museums, port and beach. Loads of shops, cafes, bars and restaurants within a few minute's walk. The staff were amazingly friendly and helpful. The hotel was easy to get to from the airport: a few minute's walk through town from the bus stop. Free coffee and water was a great bonus. As was the microwave! Room and bathroom were bright, clean, modern and very well appointed. The beds were really comfy too. We really enjoyed having breakfast in the cafe opposite Thanks to Sergio, Carlos and all the team for a wonderful stay.

Although coffee was free, it would have been better to make it ourselves rather than to have to ask each time. But maybe there is a good reason for this!

Excellent central location off Plaza Merced; quirky ambience with stylish interior design inspired by painter/poet; absolutely spotless!; excellent shower; staff generally friendly & helpful. Not plush (I didn't want plush) but very comfortable. Felt safe as individual female traveller. 15 mins walk to airport bus - easy.

Nothing to not like. However my single room overlooked courtyard so couldn't tell what day was like - might bother some. And close to roof terrace which - tho a nice feature - may mean room subject to noise of others conversations in warmer times?...

Check in was rapid. The room was small as expected but clean and quiet. There was free fresh water. The hotel is very centrally situated so a short walk to everything. Bed and pillow very comfortable. Staff really nice.

It was impossible to get into the shower and close the door so I simply showered with the door open. Although the lights in the common areas switched on with sensors, there was a light on all night on an upper floor that made my room rather light, in the absence of blackout curtains. As a result my sleep could have been better.

The rooms were a good size, and the bathroom was also a great size. The location was very good and the staff were lovely. Our room had blackout curtains, which kept the street light out. We had a little coffee maker and a safe. There was an iron and mini ironing board, and we got fresh water every day. I would definately return and stay again. It was fantastic value for money.

Maybe a little noisy at night but only if you're a light sleeper

I liked the location, the bed and bedding, the cleanliness and friendliness of the staff. I loved the shower water pressure. I loved all the little special touches, a cookie, bottle of water, amenities and especially the welcome note in the bathroom! so many lovely artistic touches in the hotel. I loved how central the hotel was to everything.

I wish the shower had a shelf so I didn’t have to keep bending to get soap and shampoo from the floor.

Breakfest was quite poor in the cofee bar at the corner with the dirty floor and a limited choice for breakfest. For eggs You need to pay additionaly.

Instruction to reach the place was a bit misleading as its was difficult to park the car even to take out the luggage.Maybe because of the construction works on the street where the hotel is localized.

A lovely welcome from Carlos and a coffee to follow!! Lovely room. Carlos also gave us information on local area and was most pleasant. Room was exactly like the photos and the bed most comfortable.

My exit!! I stepped into a small sunken pool out side our room at 4.45 a.m. and fell very awkwardly. So bruised, but pride hurt mostly!! Lucky I was on the way out to the airport not home from a night out!!

Really lovely little hotel. Beautifully decorated. Room was comfortable and clean, with an excellent shower! Lovely little touches throughout. I really liked that on the roof terrace they had yoga mats and workout equipment for you to use, such a lovely gesture.

Nothing, it was excellent.

The reception was exceptional, they helped us with whatever advise or questions we had. They were very friendly and ready to help, Sergio and Lidia were extremely diligent to give advice when asked. We used hotel parking, it was very convenient.

The ambiance and excellent customer service, the professionalism of staff, the cleanliness of the hotel.
