Good location near the motorway. Swimming pool good after a long drive. Helpful staff. Food very good, can only comment on cafeteria. Beds comfotable.

Hotel boasts 'dog friendly' but dogs not allowed anywhere except in room, previous hotels allow in reception, so only option for us was to eat outside cafeteria, ok in Summer, food was good, staff helpful and friendly. As I am a responsible dog owner, I would not leave my dog alone in room, although permitted, to ensble us to eat inside. As we are extensive travellers to Spain from France, for this reason only I would not use this hotel again as the next time will be in Winter.

Even though it's a basic, simple place, the facility is nice, clean and provides easy parking. The major benefit is the super friendly staff. I needed to call a local cafe (2.5h away by car) where I had forgotten a bag. The receptionist at that hour, Cristina, happily made the call for me (which was great considering my low level of Spanish), then told me where I needed to go to get a service to send my bag to me at our new house. Cristina is a tremendous example of how all hotel staff should be - proactive, positive and helpful!!

The breakfast was so rich, they offer a wide range of different products, including gluten-free options. I especially enjoyed fresh ~home-made tomato sauce with olive oil :)

I asked for an extra blanket, or to be more precise - for a blanket, because in summer time there were no blankets in the room. My request was found strange and the staff was surprised that anyone needs a blanket in summer, and the blanket they brought me wasn't very clean and didn't have a cover.

A pleasant hotel on the edge of Merida (30 mins walk to the town centre, 20 mins to facilities including cafes and , of course, tapas!) It's very Spanish - you do probably need some Spanish to negotiate it and feel relaxed there There is no air-con - and no fans in the room either Not great for coeliacs - but then Spain isn't and I'd just brought my own stuff DO get the breakfast as it's good - and there's nowhere else nearby you could go to

The room was clean and the staff was helpful. We were happy that we could bring our pet along. We arrived very late at the hotel and at that time the hotel restaurant was not open anymore, but I have notified the hotel a couple of hours before and it was possible to arrange a dinner given the late hour of arrival.

The extra fee for bringing a pet was too high. It was 25 euros per night. No vegetables at breakfast.

Easy to find. Lots of parking. Standard bedroom a good size & comfy with good bed linen & towels. Great garden /terrace adjacent to bar/cafeteria for relaxing.

Evening Meal menu ok but limited & when we visited in March we had to eat in bar/cafe as restaurant was not open. Probably same menu but it felt like we were in a cafe not a restaurant! Soundproofing of bedroom walls needs improving for a 4* hotel.

The hotel is on the outskirts of town. There is plenty of covered parking. Food is served virtually all the time. The pool is amazing as is the garden and surrounding area. The rooms are spacious clean and comfortable. The towels were especially soft. Towels were supplied for the pool. It was easy and inexpensive to get a taxi into Merida.Merida is a place that requires a two night stop it is full of Roman history and nothing short of remarkable.Well worth a visit.

Clean, nice size rooms and design. We were contacted by the hotel to advise they had a wedding party booked in for the night of our stay and it may be noisy. We didn’t hear anything - excellent quiet room.

Location is functional and out of town, too far to walk. Taxis got us in and back - around €9 each way on a busy Saturday night, no waiting.
