Hotel Cetina Murcia

This is a very lovely, comfortable and inexpensive hotel in the heart of the old town, just around the corner from the cathedral. The room was cool, comfortable, and with a lot of attention paid to provision of little extras. The bathroom was beautiful and equipped not only with a hairdryer but also hair straighteners - never seen that before! In the bedroom, there was a kettle and a coffee machine, iron and ironing board and a safe. Unexpectedly, in the wardrobe we found a small selection of fitness equipment, including a mat. Again, I’ve never seen this in a hotel room before! The mini bar had a small selection of drinks in which we’re free to consume with the package we’d paid for. Parking was at a convenient underground public car park about six minutes walk (on flat ground) from the hotel. The hotel had arranged a good discount at the car park. Breakfast was very good value for money, with a lot of choice. We would most definitely stay here again!

One very minor detail - one English Breakfast teabag was provided. For a room for two people, you would expect to find two.

The hotel is in a great location with lovely, friendly staff. The room had plenty of space and was very clean. Honestly a really lovely place to stay and would stay there again if ever back in Murcia.

The only negative thing I can think of (and I have to think hard) is the walls are very thin. You could hear the television and just general conversation from our neighbours. This wasn’t a problem for us as the people next door didn’t make too much noise, but if you were unfortunate enough to get noisy neighbours this could really be a problem.

Comfortable bed, great shower, big room, everything you need in the room and bathroom. The hotel is easy to find, right by Horno de la Fuensanta a few minutes from the cathedral.

This is not the fault of the hotel: The monster who stayed in room 133 before me cooked some beef noodles INSIDE the kettle. The spout and filter were covered in stinking, slimy, beefy noodles. I removed all removeable parts and cleaned it a lot, but the beefy smell was still noticeable. To the people who put food inside hotel kettles- May you find bedbugs in every bed you ever sleep in, you monsters!

Location of the hotel is excellent, close to lots of tourist attractions and nice bars and restaurants. Our room was clean and perfectly appointed, the bathroom a little tired but the presence of hair straighteners a welcome addition. Air con quite which aids a good sleep. The buffet breakfast was excellent, ample food and a great variety of fruit, yogurt, breads, cheese and meats as well as the hot options of bacon, sausage and Spanish omelette, and of course something sweet to round off an overall very good breakfast. The welcome free cocktail was delightful.

On this occasion I have no complaints.

Perfect location for our first visit to Murcia. The 'must see' were all within walking distance. Lots of cafes, tapas bars, cakes/tea rooms nearby. Breakfast room welcoming and buffet breakfast amazing with so many different food / drinks to choose from. Our room was on second floor - nice and airy. Very quiet street at night. Very comfortable bed. Decent size bathroom and spacious shower.

Such a shame we were not able to have the buffet breakfast on the day of our departure! Our plane was at 10 am which meant arriving at the airport 2 hours before. We therefore booked our taxi (via booking.com - good service by the way) for 7.30 am. Breakfast only opens at 8 am. Staff prepared a 'picnic' breakfast for us but somehow not the same :(

Everything was good. Bed was big and comfortable, the room was nice and not too small, the shower was lovely. Good design and very clean. Breakfast was very complete and staff was super helpful.

We really liked our stay in this hotel and cannot really find a negative. If I was to give 2 recommendations, I would say the shampoo provided could be better quality. Also, would be nice to include vegan alternatives to the breakfast such as veggie sausages or cheese. However, there was plenty of bread, fruit and plant milk available so I was happy nevertheless!

-located in an excellent spot in the heart of city center, next to the famous Casino of Murcia. - the overall attitude and services provided by the personnel is beyond every expectation. - the room has all the facilities, the bathroom is spacy and clean. - to my personal experiene the price is real value for money. - the breakfast is made of home recipies and quality elements.

The room was small, but they made good use of the space. It looked like the rooms had been renovated not long ago, which was nice (this includes also the bathrooms). I really liked the fact that they also had a hair iron on top of the hair drier. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was good, they offered a good variety. The location is perfect for a city trip.

We have stayed here a few times before, the staff are always very helpful and friendly. When we got to our room, there was a card from the staff, saying thank you for booking with us again, together with bath robes, slippers and Rituals toiletries! Which was a lovely gesture. Great location, only a few minutes walk to the Cathedral and plenty of decent bars, restaurants nearby. Also, offered a special rate on the breakfast, when we checked in, very pleased with the price as the breakfast selection was good and all fresh.

Very modern hotel in a great, quiet location. Nice staff, spacious and clean room. Nothing to complain during my 3 night stay. Lot's to see close by, tourist information is also just a few minutes away and there are several great restaurants, bars, bakeries and shops around.

The parking is public parking a few minutes away from the hotel. You will get the ticket entering the parking which you need to keep. At the reception you need to pay 17 Euro for the parking and you get another ticket. Once at the parking you will need to put in first the car park ticket and then the hotel ticket. You will get the hotel ticket in order to get out of the car park. If you stayed several days at the parking, please remind the hotel staff that you need the tickets for x amount of days. We didn't know the system and had to go back to the hotel which was a bit annoying.
