Arrels d'Emporda

Great location for a friends wedding at Mas Torroella Apartments were clean, spacious, modern and comfortable. Reception staff were friendly and very helpful Restaurant is nice - the buffet breakfast was ok, there were other menu options which looked better Easy to get to. We flew into Girona and caught the bus to Girona bus station, then another onto Palafrugell. The apartments are directly opposite the bus station. Much cheaper than getting a taxi (which were incredibly expensive!) Close to Llafranc which is a lovely area to explore

The air conditioning wasnt on (apparently due to cost of living) so it was red hot in the rooms. We had to open the balcony doors which meant we had traffic noise all night and got bitten by mozzies. Buffet breakfast was 11euro pp. Expensive for what was on offer and they needed to replenish more often as barely anything to choose from when we went up.

Everything was perfect, just saying 9 because we didn't have breakfast there and the area is nice but not spectacular since is in front of a tiny road. Very comfy, with everything you need for you stay. The stuff was VERY helpful and friendly. You can't hear a sound from outside and all rooms are quite big. There was a kitchen we used to prepare breakfast or dinner.

Nothing on particular. It's very convenient for going to other places but is not like you have the beach in front or anything like this. Just that is super convenient

We booked the 2 bedroom apartment with terrace. Apartment is spacious with outdoor areas. There’s an adjoining balcony to master bedroom and kitchen area. 2nd floor room opens up to a terrace. Hotel provides all amenities. Buffet breakfast for small extra charge.

Breakfast was busy and they seemed understaffed as tables were not cleared/cleaned and food was not replenished. We had to request for certain items to be refilled. Not really an issue. Beds weren’t the most comfortable.

The apartment was very spacious, a lot bigger than expected and we loved the terrace. The breakfast buffet was wonderful and the staff were very kind.

The apartments could do with a more thorough cleaning. There was sand all over the couch when we got in as well as the toilet had not been well cleaned. The beds are also not very comfortable, neither of us slept well (hard pillows and uncomfortable mattress).

Close proximity to the bus station. Staff (Marya and Rachid) were fabulous on the front counter with their friendly helpfulness throughout our visit. Restaurant is also great for dinner.

Offering a cleaning cloth would be helpful in the kitchenette

Modern building with clean, spacious rooms. Staff was kind and professional. City center is a 10 min walk away. Very reasonably priced: we paid €70 a night for a one bedroom apartment.

Because the central air system is set to heating in October, there was no airconditioning. In the afternoons inside temperature reached 27° (80F).

The flat was very nice, had a very good room, and the extra bed was a big one too. The bathroom was very nice. It is an apart hotel, so in the reception, they gave us a few tips on what to do and where to go. Very nice staff. It also has parking places nearby.

Attention by staff member Lydia was incredible. she made sure we were comfortable at all times. She gave us extra toweld when we asked for it and even provided us with taxi service at late hours. Besides that the property was 10/10: new, comfortable, very clean and unbeatable location. Highly recommended.

Well equipped house with beautiful garden and surrounding area. Lots of things to see around this area and a lake for swimming and water sports with easy parking. Supermarkets near by. Host was very helpful and friendly.

I think the apartment was clean but the furniture was worn and I believe with a little TLC this property would be perfect for a traveler looking for a perfect place to move around the beautiful towns and villages around the area because the bus stop is right across the street.
