This is heaven. For the money we were blown away. The room was a good size, balcony was private whilst having a peaceful view across the trees and hills to the ocean. Nice and quiet at night. An easy stroll down to the most beautiful swimming spot. A good hike back but you can always jump straight into the swimming pool and grab a refreshing ale when you are back at the hotel again. Good value meals too. Used the laundry service which was brilliant. Plenty of free parking. Shower a bit hot and cold but it is hard to find the perfect shower! Restaurant staff wonderful. Reception wonderful bar one!

I thought I could hire a bike there or nearby but would have had to go into palafrugell town. Missed out on some cool trails.

Beautiful grounds. Swimming pool. Hot tub. Great Buffet breakfast.  However, breakfast that was not included in the room, was expensive for adults. 10 euros would make more sense, versus 20 euros. Friendly and helpful staff.

Breakfast not included was too expensive for adult. It should be €10. . Five people in the duplex was crowded. They should not have charged us for the extra bed. The staff had no knowledge of water, activities in Callel. We found a tourist information desk in LeFranc. (Only by walking in the Lefranc). A rather long distance to walk uphill from the Sea. Ok for young, not good for elderly.

Large rooms and gardens in a quiet non touristed neighborhood with upper views of Calella de Palafrugell’s seashore and just a short stepped walk away. Worthy of a return visit. Well suited for all types of visitors such as families (manicured pine forest playgrounds and a large sunny pool), corporate groups, Holiday makers, local residents, Peregrinos, venues like weddings, and solo/adventurers (ViesVerdes is super closeby).

Initial visit required directions from a local delivery driver, then good signage led me to the steep driveway. A delightful reward for an active day of travel. Jacuzzi (in suite) was a plus.

We stayed in the family cabin. There was a lot of space and the bedding was very comfortable. The location was close to the pool and to the street and it was very easy to get into town. The hotel had a lovely pool and bar area and a very cute train for children to ride once a day. The hotel is very close to the Callela center but just outside so it feels a peaceful and relaxing compared to the bustling town

The family cabin did not have hot water in one bedroom and there was no fridge to keep beverages cold. I cannot speak to the actual hotel rooms. At times it seemed a little understaffed

The hotel grounds were wonderful, even if they could use a bit more care. The staff was wonderful - all of them. We booked a room with a terrace and sea view - very nice. Breakfat was very good.

The room was too small and could have used more furniture - only 1 chair, no room to put your suitcases. No mini fridge. The "free" parking has actually only a few cramped parking places. If you don't find a free place, you have to park on the street and even there it may be difficult to find a space. The hotel restaurant was limited in quality and choice.

After being allocated an ocean view room, which you could barely see a glimpse of the ocean, we complained and were upgraded to a 5th floor ocean view room which had amazing views over Calellà and the ocean. So we were very happy thanks to Juna. The breakfast is outstanding with a good variety and of high quality. The grounds are lovely with a nice swimming pool. We dined at the restaurant for dinner having the 3 course special and the food was one of the best meals that we have had since we have been travelling for 4 months. The quality and variety was fantastic the portion sizes were big and the flavours were amazing. I wish I had extended my stay for another couple of nights. Hotel Garbi is on the side of a steep hill which gives you great views, for the views you need to be able to walk up and down stairs into town, which is very close by.

Nothing not to like in an ocean view room

The nautical theme of room/ hotel was great. Our room had lovely view and balcony designed to achieve some privacy.

On arrival the restaurant was closed and would be for 3 days, as happened the following week. Should you wish to drink with dinner so walked into town, it was an uphill walk back and quite strenuous after a meal! When we used hotel restaurant the food was excellent

There is a restaurant in the hotel so you don't have to go looking for a place to eat and the food tasted very good A working air conditioning in this hotel so I had a nice cool room which was a welcome thing with the 31C during the day The size of the room was also great compared to all the hotels during my trip The room even had a little balcony if I wanted so fresh air without letting all the bugs in The bathroom and shower were also nice and big, I didn't have to worry about bumping into the faucet

The food in the restaurant was very salty Getting to the entrance is a bit strange the first time as it is at the back of the hotel up the hill My phone could not find any wifi signal (laptop did) in my room on the second floor One of the bed covers was very itchy but luckily it could be removed

Great experience! Everything was perfect from the location (just 5 min walk to the beach, old city centre or to the bus terminal towards Barcelona, Girona etc) to the staff and facilities. Room and breakfast exceeded my expectations. Hotel complex situated inside a green oasis (an olive trees forest) with pool, jacuzzi etc. Staff very professional. Overall we highly recommend Garbi Hotel for a trip in Calella de Palafrugell.

I had a room with seaview and spa pool of the the balcony (room 417). The property is beautiful, spacious, very clean room and large bathroom. It's a bit of an uphill walk to reception and lots of steps. A short walk down hill to the beach, restaurants etc..bar and restaurant on site, in nicely landscaped gardens. The tourist "hop on hop off bus stop is outside the entrance..picks up from Palafrugell bus station (6.50E) at 11am, 12.30, 16.00, 19.00..otherwise taxi is approx 18E. Good selection for breakfast.
