Hotel Vista al Sol

An immaculately clean small hotel located on a quiet road in Paterna, which was ideally located for our attendance at the Valencia MotoGP. The staff were friendly, helpful and professional. Rooms serviced daily if required (towels and sheeets changed - room cleaned). No meal options but that didn't bother us. "Heron City" is just a short walk away providing a number of eating and entertainment options. The en-suite bathroom is small and basic but there is plenty of hot water and the shower works very well. There is a pleasant "sitting out" communal area with lighting for a late evening. Also a swimming pool which is open in the summer months. I would recommend this hotel 100%.

Vista del Sol is a small hotel (abour 20 rooms) on the outskirts of Valencia; it is very clean and well kept and benefits from a pool, so for us was a fantastic stopover on a long, hot drive returning from our family summer holidays. The beds and sheets are very comfortable and the hotel manager kindly kept the pool open past the 9pm closing so our children could enjoy a swim.

- the hotel is in a rather dull suburban location, but at least is a short 3-minute walk from the large Heron City shopping mall in Paterna which offers lots of fast food option. There seemed to be no other restaurants within walking distance.

Comfortable little space outside of town close to a restaurant and entertainment mall. Staff was pleasant and the amenities very clean. I stayed for 9 nights and found the experience enjoyable enough, I will stay here again. The vibe was perfect for me. The internet was working well 95% of the time I needed it.

The bed was a little too hard. But, the shower was perfect and the coffee was delicious.

The staff was super kind and helpful! The swimming pool was nice and the room was clean with a nice bed, desk and mini-fridge. It was easy to park in the street in front of the hotel. A shopping mall with tons of restaurants is within 5 minutes walk from the hotel.

The room are not very isolated acoustically. I could hear clearly people talking even at low tone in the next room. I could hear even someone snoring in the next room. I could hear even someone watching television at low volume in the next room.

Simple, clean, comfortable, very quiet location, pool area is pleasant and clean. Good air conditioning but we found we did not need to run it at night as the room was cool despite day time temperatures in the mid 30s.. Situated in the Campolivar area, a pleasant residential area.

Nothing particularly, location is not near to public transport but that did not matter to us. It is however near to the airport by car/cab.

staff are lovely, prices are good, not too far from airport (14€ taxi), great wifi, superb room with really good shower and very cold fridge. lovely black cat :-) we recommend room 201 if you want a double bed and don’t want to bother neighbours - it’s above reception and no other rooms above or to the side, so if you want to watch TV until late and not bother anyone this is the room to ask for.

the price of the cubatas (gin+tonic, etc) is high for the area at 6,50€ but the beers at 2€ are better value. Also it is very hard to find the HDMI slot on the TV in the room (I found it eventually) - I wanted to watch a movie from my laptop. but this is a very small issue.

We stayed one night in the hotel on our way to the north of Spain. The staff is very friendly (the person from the check in the evening and the person in the morning who served coffee in the bar) and the room is just what you need for one night : clean, a good bed and close to Heron city with several restaurants (300 meters on foot)

Comfortable little place, all very clean and cosy. Fernando was a fantastic help, really friendly and seems like he does everything.

I arrived late after delayed flight and they waited which was very nice of course. But no possibility of food and no water or anything in the fridge or any machine, was so thirsty.

Close to the motorway network, close to the airport and a short walk to the tram/metro system to Valencia city. Restaurants and bars and cinema across the road. Simple but clean accommodation. Quiet residential area. Pool/bar/terraces, what more could you want for a short stay around Valencia? Good value, recommended

Other guests can be very inconsiderate but this is not a problem the hotel can do much about.
