The hotel is lovely, I really enjoyed the pool, our room and the gardens. The beds were comfortable and we slept well. The best thing about our stay was how the staff made us feel, everywhere at the hotel and especially at the restaurant and snack bar. Excellent customer service. Many thanks to Juan, Cata, Fran, Ben and so many more who made our stay truly special! When we arrived we were given a lovely room, but I noticed a bit of noise from the street outside. As I am a light sleeper, we went to reception that same evening and asked if it was possible to move to a quieter room, and luckily this was possible and they helped us move to the other room which was quieter, so that was also very good. I enjoyed eating at the restaurant terrace very much (lovely views of the garden and nice fresh air). Perhaps a small suggestion would be to have air conditioning inside the restaurant hall, as this would probably make it easier to eat there too if needed. The reception staff helped us arrange a couple of excursions which we enjoyed very much. Staff at the hotel were happy to share knowledge about local places to see, and were very friendly and helpful. In terms of location, the beaches nearby were nice and there were plenty of shops nearby (also restaurants, but we didn't visit them this time). We also took the bus to other locations such as Maspalomas Dunes, Playa Amadores, Puerto Mogán and Playa Anfi del Mar. This was very easy using Google maps, as the stops are close to the hotel. We also took the bus from and to the airport and this was very easy, inexpensive and convenient.

Only complaint is the beds,,,Webste gives the option of single or Double bed,,,Beds are hospital beds,,matresses are warn and uncomfotable,,very disappointed, as we like sleep in the same bed,, can't join beds together,,As you spend 8 hours in bed,,,one third of your is in bed,,,,Holiday is ruined because beds are not fit to sleep...This is unacceptable for the price of hotels...i would not return because of lack of sleep,,it's not good for your health,,it ruins your day...

Our experience at Hotel Parque Tropical was great. The animation team, waiters and waitresses, and administrative staff are always so welcome, kind, and friendly. The hotel has a great garden, it`s like an island`s flora miniature. There were families, young couples, self-travelers, and retired couples so this variety of guests make the experience great. Breakfast and dinner include delicious and various kinds of meals, you will gain weight like we do :) Thanks for everything, we loved it and come again!

Lovely, peaceful property with easy access to the beach. The breakfast and dinner buffets were very well-done, and we upgraded to half-board after seeing how touristy our restaurant options off property tended to be. The staff was very friendly and responsive.

This is an old hotel. Straight out of the 1970s. It was very charming, clean, and comfortable, but needs an update. Parking was also challenging, but it is well-located. If you are an American tourist like us, be aware that European resorts are very stingy about pool towels.

Beach front means 5-7 minutes of waking and several hundreds of stairs to get to the beach downhill. During this trip I stayed in a four-star with a more varied breakfast and dinner menu. On an evening with a highlight on seafood, there were only mussels. Too less fruits. Toilet leaks, fridge does not cool but only keeps temperature. Safe in the room for an additional daily fee. I think the price is a bit excessive

The hotel is small but lovely, very green with lots of flowers, plants and palms so it does reflect its name- tropical! The staff is nice and welcoming. Our room was cleaned everyday so massive thank you to the chambermaid! The pool is nice and heated. The location is good, next to the bust stop and 5 min walk from the Playa del ingles and other beaches. There are some shops and restaurants around. it takes only 25 min by taxi from the airport to the hotel and costs about 35 Euros. You can take buses number 33 or 39 to go to Puerto Rico or Mogan or Amadores beach which is nice for about 3.10 euros one way depends on the destination.

The food at dinner was a bit downside as not much spanish food presented, mostly englishlike food. Breakfast was ok, they even serve champaign.

The first night we had a horrible view of the motorway, but got moved to a fabulous room the next morning. Absolutely lovely gardens and swimming pool. Its heated to 23 degrees I think. Lovely wideranging buffet, breakfast and evening (we stayed halfboard). Really enjoyed the morning stretch/exercise classes and the lunchtime aqua aerobics with Fran. Dancing show was fabulous.

My taste is more modern, but we felt very looked after by the wonderful staff, so that made up for my personal preference in decor. The view from our first room was really ugly, but that was made up for when they mived us to another room.

Tropical hotel with large green area next to pool and pool bar. Large buffet options for breakfast and dinner. Large size room and large size bathroom. Next to hotel is public transport bus stop Parque Tropical. Hotel is 100 meters from beach and beach promenade. At close proximity are shops including grocery shops and restaurant.

Hotel is bit old fashioned, although it was very clean, it is clear that rooms and public areas were not reconstructed for couple of years.

Beautiful inside and outside: the room (a couch you can lounge on, great wardrobe, ), gardens with plenty of seating, restaurant. VERY close to the beach. Friendly staff. And the dinner and breakfast were amazing. Everything I've tried was tasty (various roasts, freshly fried fish, eggs in the morning, etc)

For the price I find a few things not to be up to the standard. The worst is the in-room wifi. Many times it was not working. We did not ask to fix this, so can't say if it could have been fixed. But it should work properly for a hotel of this caliber. Then the gym: it is small and badly equipped. The only weight lifting machine was out of order. And there were two sets of 2kg dumbbells (both are 2kg). Very poor. And lastly, the shower is very basic - just a handheld shower with a holder. Not a big issue, just would expect better with a hotel this nice (maybe a bath, or a rain shower).

The hotel is very well located next to bus stations, beach and shops. The breakfast is absolutely wonderful and so are the rest of the meals. Very good drinks at very reasonable prices. The staff always smiling and doing their best to make you feel excellent. Also the hotel and the amenities are very clean and the garden is simply magnificent.

If I should say something I don't like I'd say the shower curtain :). It could be replaced with a glass or a cabin.
