Hotel Best Da Vinci

We had a great experience at the hotel. The staff members were helpful throughout our stay. Our suite on the 6th floor was excellent, complete with a terrace. It consisted of two rooms: a small living room with a TV and a kitchenette, and a spacious bedroom with two single beds, a wardrobe, and another TV. It's worth noting that there are different types of rooms available. We had the opportunity to visit another room with two large double beds, a small balcony instead of a terrace, and a kitchenette but no separate living room. Speaking of the kitchenette, ours was well-equipped with a small fridge, an induction cooktop, a kettle, a toaster, cooking pots, plates, utensils, and more. We could cook for ourselves if we wanted to. There is a conveniently located supermarket near the hotel. The surrounding area is pleasant, close to the sea, with a variety of shops, bars, and restaurants within walking distance.

While we enjoyed our stay, there were a few areas that could be improved upon. The wardrobe in the bedroom had rails but lacked drawers and shelves. As a result, we had to keep many of our belongings in our suitcases. Additionally, there were no hooks near the entrance door for hanging outdoor clothes. An iron was not provided in the room but could be requested at the reception. While the hotel did not have a laundry room, there was a self-service laundry facility located 10 minutes away on the same street. Tea and coffee were included in the price only during the breakfast. During the dinner, we would have to pay for drinks (for some reason, only cold drinks were available in the restaurant during the dinner, but we could get hot drinks in the bar).

The hotel is nice - not new, but clean, cosy and convenient. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the location is super - not far from the town center and in just 3-5 minutes away from the sea beach on foot. Therefore you should not be concerned about the small swimming pool you might find in the hotel photos (and it is really small), we used it just once. What is definitely worth mentioning is the hotel restaurant - it is awesome. I booked a hotel with breakfasts, lunches and dinners included and did not regret it. The food was just super - delicious, various and of course very Spanish.

This is not actually a problem. On the first day staying at the hotel we found some spiders or bugs on the curtains and window. We were very concerned about it, talked to the hotel staff and they explained to us why we should not and used some spray to get the bugs away. But the next day we saw them just flying into the room through the balcony door, realized that they were harmless and just ignored them later.

The bed was amazing, big and comfortable - such a big bedroom. The air con was good. Lovely bathroom - nice hot walk in shower. The balcony was huge on a corner room overlooking the pool, sunny all day too. Bar area very attractive Maid service brilliant! Food was plentiful and of good quality. We enjoyed the hot food service for stir fry etc Very efficient service in restaurant which was immaculately clean

Food in the restaurant not kept hot - nice food but left out not on hotplates. I hate food that isn't served hot. No dressing table - maybe because we had an apartment with fridge, microwave etc No English tv - Only news channels Entertainment was mediocre and started very late

Dinner was great, beyond expectations! Great variety of dishes: seafood / meat / salads / side dishes / desserts etc. Several times a week there was salmon, mussels or shrimp. Location is perfect: quite, central, close to the beach (2-3 min). Staff was very warm and helpful, whenever we had a question / problem it was immediately solved.

Would be great to renovate rooms a bit: 1) fridge was old -> got unfired + leaked a few times 2) sofa is very old and uncomfortable, not sure it can be used to sleep on (we didn't but in case you're planning to) But overall the room was nice

We stayed for 1 week in room 544 in June 2023. Location of hotel was superb, just a small walk to the beach and promenade. Buffet in the restaurant for dinner was excellent and all you can eat for €16.50. Entertainment in hotel every night. No need to reserve sun loungers in the hotel as people normally go to the beach so plenty of sun lounger beds available.

One receptionist told us that we couldn't reserve a taxi to the airport whereas another receptionist had no problem doing this on another day for us. No toaster in the room or tea towel so had to request the toaster from reception. Pull out couch in our studio apartment was very uncomfortable. No table in the studio only outside plastic table. Position of tv in studio not suitable for viewing as it was too high in relation to the couch and too near.

Rooms are very good. Food typically Spanish, which was very good. We will be back

WiFi is very poor and has not been upgraded for many years. Practically non existent in bedrooms.

Hotel was spotless, location was perfect, breakfast was good with a wide variety.staff in pool bar were great especially jhonny and Santos.the 2 girls the blond girl Denise I think and dark hair wer brilliant with the children and are a credit to the hotel.

The reception was the only downfall.They wer not very helpful and didn’t communicate well.if there was a que at the counter they all seemed to deal with the one problem/query rather than helping someone else out.

Hotel was within a short walk to the beach...literally 5 minutes. It was also 5 min from the bus stop to Reus Airpirt and Barcelona. The pool is a great size and the food options are many and varied. The bars great with a big selection of alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks and there is even a t.v. room if you want to enjoy a drink from the bar in front of the tv. The staff are super friendly and supportive. They were a great help in organising tours and excursions.

Just a small thing but the pool is surrounded on 3 sides by the hotel so while lying at the pool you can be in the shade a lot...you have to chase the sun a little 😀

The whole hotel was spotless, the word prestine could be used. Bar staff, Jose, excellent and experienced bar man. Table service by his colleagues was also amazing and all bar staff had a smile. Dining room staff were great too, some more than others. That said, all the food aspects were of a high quality and plentiful. Pool area was lovely but we didn't venture into it.

beautiful hotel ,lovely room serviced daily. Lovely staff in the dining room and reception, especially Isabel who was most helpful.Food varied and plentiful,this was our second visit and we look forward to returning next year
