Great stopover for Ferry terminal. lovely sea view room and very comfortable. Lovely big Tv but unfortunately no channels for us to watch except bbc world news.

We only booked a room so decided we’d book breakfast no problem so we thought. When we arrived at the time we’d asked for our names we’re not on the list. We were told we couldn’t have it as we hadn’t booked. ?After an embarrassing exchange of words it was settled and we got our breakfast. Parking is free in all the streets but hard to find a space in them or outside hotel. They do offer a secure garage payable which we used which is in an old apartment block behind the hotel. The garages are tight to get in to. Ours wouldn’t shut or lock with the key we were given.

Lovely view of the beach. All staff at the hotel were very friendly and a good breakfast. The location was perfect for the beach. Bus stop very close to the hotel to go into the centre of Santander (€1.30) There are some great restaurants and bars near the hotel. The area prides itself for it's excellent food. Cheap flight from Birmingham with Ryan Air which took only 1 hour 40 min and a 25 min taxi journey, great for a long weekend away.

Everything was great but the Sunday flea market in the center of town near the fish market was not worth visiting. Quite small and the traders just selling rubbish on the whole. No churros stalls etc.

We booked this hotel as it was one of the only hotels in town with a direct view on the sea. We stayed in Room 503 which was well sized and had a balcony which the hotel assigned us on request. The room had the most amazing view over Playa del Sardinero, and every morning we woke up with a great view of the sea, town and blue sky. The room had an almost 360 degree view over the sea. There was a minibar with beer, soft drinks and snacks. The hotel was well equipped with a small gym and a restaurant/bar/cafe which served tapas and drinks. We ate a great spanish omelette from the restaurant. The breakfast had a classic hotel selection of food, with a reasonably varied options. There was plant based vegan milk. The location is great if you want to be near to Sardinero, Magdalena beach and is just a short walk to Palacio de la Magdalena. The hotel is around 20 minute walk to the town, which is a nice walk along the sea front, but there are also public buses and city bikes (2.50 €) right outside the hotel. There is a great hiking trail which leaves from Sardinero and goes along the north coast of the peninsula to Playa La Maruca and even beyond.

The location was superb. Right on beach front. Staff were very friendly and room clean.Comfortable hotel to stay in. Great choice for breakfast. Food fresh and plenty of options. Parking free on road close to hotel. We usually had to search but never failed to find a spot. Relaxing place to stay right on the beach .

I thought the pillows were very soft. Not the best quality.

gorgeous spacious room, we were on floor 6 with a beach view. it was stunning!! beds were comfy, staff came back to clean the room after we’d left for the day if we put the sign out. hotel was great location to beach (across the road) handy to get to city centre, either a 20 minute walk along the road, could walk partially along beach the road or there was plenty of buses which took 5/10 minutes every 3-5 minutes during the day to the city centre for €1.30 each way.

The gym was very new and clean. I loved that even though we didn’t have hotel breakfast, there is a cafe in the hotel , where you can order coffee and pastries. It was possible to park on the street without payment, however it might be because of the fact that we visited in January (out of season)

Our room was a bit claustrophobic, the walls were paper like so you could hear everything your neighbours are talking about. The staff was neutral, not unpleasant, but not very welcoming either.

We stayed here for one night prior to catching the Ferry. Excellent location for the port. Staff were friendly. Room was clean and comfortable. Lots of breakfast choices.

There are no coffee making facilities in the room, for a four star hotel I would expect to see this. The dining room where breakfast is served feels small and cramped. After breakfast I was stopped from taking my cup of coffee to the bar seating area as the cup was not allowed to leave the dining room ....which I found very strange for a hotel.

Location was a pleasant 35 minute walk from the ferry port, which was broken up with stops for beer along the way. The hotel was very clean and well presented, with friendly housekeeping staff. The scenery around the area is beautiful and we took many walks around the coastline, justifying more food and drink stops!

The reception staff were not overly welcoming on booking including taking multiple phonecalls whilst tending to us. The bed wasn't so comfortable but was made up for by the general cleanliness of the hotel itself.

We had a sea view room without a balcony. It was a lovely outlook. The hotel is just across the road from the beach and there is free parking on nearby streets and a little car park. Lots of restaurants in the vicinity. Comfortable bed.

The air conditioning didn’t work so we had to leave the window open which was a bit noisy. Having said that it wasn’t that hot and the road isn’t busy through the night.

The silence in the hotel and rooms. The breakfast room organised very well. The position of the hotel right next to the Sandinero beach, plus plenty of good places to eat, the hotel restaurant was particularly good. Excellent bus service into central Santander
