H10 Corregidor Boutique Hotel

Excellent location for local attractions yet quiet once in the room. The luxury furnishings were so nice and a super comfy bed .The hotel seems to be an old mansion house and iOS very unique. Very near to the hotel are local shops selling water etc which was convenient and just at the top of the road was a tree lined street with lots of bars and restaurants… perfect. We loved the inner patio area in the hotel for a drink in the evening.

The pool could have been heated that’s all.

The H10 is stylish, a beautifully renovated building. The staff were lovely and helpful. I got a deal on the room for some reason so was happy with the price. The room was very nice with minibar fridge and coffee maker.

We couldn’t get the coffee machine to work, only ever got a small amount of water. That may be because we didn’t know how to use it. The shower valve was unusual and I couldn’t work out how to turn it on. Wife had to show me! But really, minor things. Breakfast was €16 each, which we thought was a little high, but anyway we wanted to eat out, there are many places. Go north to the Avenida Hercules, lots of options.

For tourists, the location is really great. It's not far to reach the city centre for shopping and sightseeing. And in the evening, after a break in the hotel, it's only a few meters to reach dozens of restaurants at Alameda de Hércules for dinner. Throughout the whole stay, all of the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Whether it was about tips for dining, sightseeing, transportation, or free maps, the support was really good. The room was a true bargain and was actually much bigger than expected, especially the bathroom! Also the hotel itself is a nice little gem.

- An unexpected, rather large accommodation behind the facade. As regards the style, one loves it or not. - Good location which is still central and at walking distance of many monuments , but out of the crowd. - Pleasant, friendly and polite staff. - Sitting area (where also the breakfast can be taken) inside and outside. - Perfect hair dryer which is exceptional.

- Our room (404) on the highest floor is noisy during the day (till more or less 21.00), because of the hotel air ventilation. Of course one is mostly out enjoying the city during the day, but during a rest in the room, this is disturbing. - Coffee facility in the room. Would have preferred also some tea.

Good location only a short walk to Giralda and Alcazar, it was extremely hot and we are in our seventies and managed to walk everywhere. Rooftop terrace with plunge pool was great, waiter service for drinks to it. Glass of Cava on arrival was a nice touch. Extremely good value for money.

Reception did mention that the showers were new and a few people had trouble operating them and instructions were provided in the room. However operating the shower was not an issue but it was possible to get virtually scalding water if temperature control turned fully to hot. It was relatively easy to do this by accident. Mentioned it at checkout but reception didn’t seem to understand and just stated they were new. Personally felt it was a safety issue.

Staff were fabulous, breakfast was superb, great location 15 mins easy walk to most attractions that we wanted to see. Plenty of cafes and bars around the area.

Coffee machine at breakfast took a bit of mastering but once I found that you needed a cortado and an expresso in the same cup all was tickety boo. Our room was small but fully functional our bathroom was almost as big as our room. Would have preferred a walk in shower as we are getting older and less able to get in and out of a bathtub shower safely but that is something we will have to make sure of in the future.

Excellent customer service from all staff in particular the young man with the Scottish accent who welcomed us on arrival. Gave us a detailed map and explained the locations of places of interest and helped with our enquiries. The Maitre D. Carmen was so friendly, professional and worked at an incredibly fast pace while taking time to get me some decaff tea on request. She always smiled and was extremely efficient. All employees are an asset to this hotel including the cleaners who always said hello/ ola to us. Room was lovely. Bed very comfortable and breakfast was superb

The shower was very good but it took quite a long time to regulate the temperature. There is very little storage space

Great welcome, great staff, good quality rooms, comfy beds, crisp linen, fluffy towels and dressing gowns. Excellent selection of top quality food at breakfast, great location. Beautiful decor.

My only moan is that we wanted a ‘nightcap’ after a great night out and was told the bar had shut at 11.00. This was about 11.10- quite early to close bar considering Seville doesn’t come alive until 9 o’clock ish. As a hotel I think you should be available to offer drinks to your guests at a later time.

The bed was comfortable and the room felt cosy. The breakfasts were excellent, with a wide range of options, including fruits and cakes. The staff were professional.

I was asked to pay half of my balance when I went to reception to ask a question. When checking in, I had been told that the balance would be payable upon checking out. Paying half twice would have been inconvenient for claiming expenses purposes. H10 should have a consistent policy on this point.

Staff were all very good. Everyone was helpful and professional. Room was just right for one person with a comfortable bed and a generous bathroom which had a walk-in shower. I’m hostile to showers over baths and the only downside here was my struggle to work out how to regulate the water flow. Second day I made it! Breakfast was a generous and varied buffet. The breakfast area incorporated an open air courtyard. A bar selling drinks an food at reasonable prices was available until quite late.

I had no problems with anything.
