Hotel Europa Boutique Sevilla

The hotel is two minutes from the Cathedral, Giralda Tower and the Alcazar Palace accessible from Calle de la Constitucion which has loads of cafes, bakeries and restaurants in and around it. The Plaza de Espana a must see also, is about 20 minutes walk away. Our room on the first floor was clean with a shower over the bath and a kettle and mugs. Bring your own coffee. Staff are lovely. They were a great help with all issues including booking taxi for us back to airport. We walked everywhere we wanted to visit as there is a lot to see on foot.

It was 32 degrees when we were there and whilst there was a Juliet balcony, it was covered in with glass. I'd have loved to have been able to get some fresh air into the room by throwing open the doors as there is no outside sitting area at the hotel.

The choice of breakfast food and drink was of a high standard and the intimate setting of the room provided to eat made good use of the space available. The staff continually monitored food levels and cleaned and reset the tables as they were used. I must give a special mention to Michael, a young trainee Manager I believe. Good English, very calm, quiet, obliging, always happy to help and who will without doubt be an outstanding asset to the hotel. It is difficult to stand out from the staff as the standard is extremely high but Michael managed to do that.

As a retired Engineer, I find it surprising that in a room as beautiful as room 101 the drawers of the impressive furniture were almost impossible to open and close. The solution is very simple and cheap and any carpenter/joiner could quickly rectify this one small irritant and make them slide open and close smoothly. (Beeswax is extremely good)

Period property, but with all modern facilities The staff were brilliant - what you simply would never get in a larger chain. They were so informative, and went completely out of their way to explain sites and directions. One produced a list of restaurants that may be suitable for us as a family, with particular requirements for young eaters! There was no vested interest for them on any of the restaurant choices. They then went one state further and typed that out and then cross referenced each on a map. They also explained in some detail the sites and how much time to be spent on each, and further hints and tips on when to attend, etc. I cannot praise the staff enough.

Car parking was around the corner and effectively inaccessible (but this was not really any issue of note).

Excellent location, just few minutes from the cathedral, close to all tourist attractions. Big room - actually there were two bedrooms connected, each with the TV, there was a kettle, fridge, air-con, safety locker etc. Amazing as for 1 star hotel. To be honest facilities were better than in 4 start hotel we stayed few days earlier, really!!! Precisely, a lot of space, and twice bigger fridge. Room decoration was as I would expect for 3 star (pictures on the walls etc) while the common area of the hotel was exceptional! Original paintings on the walls, Andalusian tiles.... Beautiful and comfy, very nice and helpful staff. I can't believe it is just 1 star, the price was as for 1 star but the comfort and decoration was as 4 star hotel.

There was a marble floor on the corridors so sometimes we could hear other guests while they were walking (specially coming back at the night). Marble floor was amazing (and to keep the hotel cold), but improving the doors would probably help with the noise. TBH it was very minor disruption but .... I can't find any other disadvantage of the hotel

There is parking near the property and very nice one but is 21 euro per day on top of the price of the room

The location was fantastic, 5 minutes walk to the city center. The area is very safe. I walked around the neighborhood at night with no worries. The room was comfortable with a small balcony and a view of a fairly quiet street - except Friday night. Christina at the reception was the best. Such a nice lady, so professional always happy to please; she was very knowledgeable and gave me excellent advice about the city and excursions. Thank you so much!

In the morning it was a little cold in the room They offer trips from two agencies, the price difference for the same trips is about 15 euros, but this is not determined by the hotel (although they offer more expensive tours first)

Room was very clean, bed was very comfortable. Had teas and a kettle and a fridge which was great. Reception were very friendly and helpful. They have a policy to leave your keys with them when you leave (24/7 Reception) and I think that's such a great idea- reduces the chance of you losing it or being robbed. Having said that, Seville was incredibly safe and as a sole female traveller I was very comfortable walking around on my own including at night. The location is brilliant, 7mins to the cathedral and lots of restaurants nearby as well as a grocery store. Price was very reasonable. Shower was clean with good pressure.

Only tiny issue was that the bars of soap are very small so kept breaking, but reception kindly gave me more and if you use the daily housekeeping service it won't be an issue as they will replenish it (I only used it on one day hence needing to ask reception). Could hear guests if they were loud going into their rooms but once in the room couldn't hear them which was good.

OH MY GOD!! I don't comprehend how this hotel is one star First of all the location of this property is walking distance to everything, the rooms, the lobby, the stairs, the breakfast, the staff all was more than we expected , we didn't wanted to leave lol We are planning to come back to Sevilla and for sure we are staying here again, I have stayed at 5 stars hotels and this is up to those hotels standards or more !!

All perfect

This is a wonderful small hotel in the historic zone of Seville. Very friendly and helpful staff and quite comfortable. Not a 4 star type of place, but it has everything you need and is exceedingly comfortable. At least a couple of dozen restaurants and bars within 1-2 blocks. We ate around the corner both nights. Easy walk to the Cathedral and Alcazar. Highly recommended for comfort, location and value. Staff is exceptional!

Adequate size for an older hotel in the city centre Parking - very good - garage 2 minutes walk from hotel

It would have been nice to have a better view but it was a lovely quiet room.
