The cathedral 2 mins away go up the steps & find the restaurant Barcello serving great tapas & drinks with the perfect Cathedral view . Or stroll down the street to the bustling square for drinks . We had great Venezuelan food at The Cube. Just wished we had stayed longer & would highly recommend.

Can be noisy in the night but located in the middle of a city so take ear plugs . Still rated 10 as everything else so perfect

Fantastic little hostel right in the centre of the old town part of Tarragona. We arrived out of hours on a Sunday afternoon, check in instructions were excellent and very easy, as our host, Albert, contacted us prior to arrival and was easy to reach (via WhatsApp). The building is lovely, very nicely decorated and extremely clean. There is a communal lounge / reception area with lots of facilities including hot and cold drinks, beers, wines etc, with an honesty box for payment - which is a wonderful reflection on the owners and guests. Our room was made up and cleaned each day. Albert is in attendance at the hostel most of the day on weekdays and is a great source of information, and speaks excellent English. The hostel is right in the middle of a lovely and lively old part of Tarragona. We only stayed two nights at the end of a long tour, but would recommend 3 or 4 at least. Tarragona is quite a big city, and is very attractive with lots to see and do, and also has a lovely beach about 25 minutes walk from the hostel - the beach was so nice we spent more time than we expected there and missed out on a few of the city sights.

Very nice hotel right in the middle of the historic center of Tarragona. There are just a few rooms and there is a lobby also with a fridge and some drinks and a coffee machine. Everyone was extremely nice and friendly and we got perfect informations what to see and do in Tarragona. The man at the reception really took a lot of time explaining everything to us. Also a self check in is possible if you arrive outside their working hours, that's really great! The room was very clean and nice, had a hairdryer and a small window. It was cleaned every day. There is also a little table and one chair and a closet with some hangers. Even some snacks and coffee were provided at the room! All in all we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back to Tarragona as also the city is amazing!

The hostal only had five bedrooms and therefore it would have been unreasonable to expect breakfast. There were buns provided and some capsules for the coffee machine downstairs. There was a range of drinks in the fridge, access to a kettle and coffee machine and an honesty box. What we liked best was the charm of the hostel and its owners. Maite and her father Antonio were on hand regularly and clearly love their project which started five years earlier as a service area of a large 19C house. They have sensitively used the brickwork and masonry to provide modern rooms with a lot of character.

Albert was so warm and welcoming! He gave me excellent advice on restaurants and places to visit. Really appreciated his help with my onward journey too! It is fabulously situated in the heart of everything, just a 2 min walk to the Cathedral. So cosy and comfy and such absolute value for money!! If you raised your prices, it would still be worth the visit! Nice quality bedding and towels too. Thank you for everything!

I would have liked at least one glass in the room, but I was able to access one from downstairs, so not an issue.... Everything else was awesome!

The decor and building were really attractive and sympathetically designed, feeling comfortable and modern but making a feature of original stonework and interesting details. Albert was extremely helpful and welcoming and gave lots of recommendations of places to visit and to eat locally. Beds were comfortable. Aircon was available in the room if you needed it.

The shower head holder on the wall slowly slipped down as you were using the shower- it just needs tightening up. There wasn’t enough space in the room to put down an open suitcase without tripping over it.

The location was perfect for the old historic part of Tarragona. Plenty of places to eat nearby and close enough to the main shopping area. Albert was very helpful and was always on hand to answer any questions we had about Tarragona and the local area. We stayed for three nights and enjoyed every minute of it.

Transport link between Reus Airport and Tarragona could be better. There are only three or four buses per day to and from the airport (Monbus) so if your flight arrival/departure is outside of the timetable slots then you have to pay for a taxi. We paid 35 euros for a taxi as the next bus after our arrival was two hours after we landed. Our departure flight time did coincide pretty well with the Monbus schedule we paid 6.60 euros for both of us to travel to the airport.

Lovely little family run hotel in centre of Tarragona. Very tasteful, safe and central location. Perfect for exploring All the sights and just down the road from Cathedral. Loads of places to eat and drink. We had a great time at the correfoc/ fire-run. Third time at this hotel and would stay again. Felt very safe and love the living area and access to tea and coffee and drinks etc via the honesty box.

Exceptionally friendly and helpful - from the detailed information about how to get there sent before arrival, great suggestions about where to go during our visit, booked us a taxi in the morning which picked us up from the door. Bed exceptionally comfortable. Fantastic location. Would not hesitate to return and recommend to others.

Nothing (be aware that it is difficult to get to the hotel in a car - the airport taxi dropped us at the gates to the old town - but it was only a short walk even with a lot of luggage and we knew this in advance so it wouldn't stop us booking again).

We loved the hotel! It was so comfy and cozy. Like a boutique hotel. The beds were comfortable and the shower was great! The reception area is so cute! It was a wonderful experience! And the location was perfect. Close to great restaurants and walkable to the main areas of attractions and the beach and port. The host was very helpful and welcoming.
