This is a nice hotel in a quiet position but 5 minutes walk away from Rambla Nova. Perfect really. There was plenty of room in the parking garage and this was easy to access. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. The bed was very comfortable. Aircon and Wifi were good and easy to operate. We requested a quiet room and were given one overlooking a small park and away from the traffic. Breakfast was good and there were enough choices of food and drink. The restaurant did not serve meals, but there was a room service menu available with a respectable range of dishes. There are an incredible number of eateries within easy walk of the hotel. Many of them are in the square by the ayuntamiento (20 minutes gentle walk) and there are fish restaurants in El Serrallo which is further to walk. There are usually taxis outside the hotel. We left the car in the parking garage as we were advised that parking is limited and expensive in the town. Tarragona is a pleasant town with beaches, a busy port, a fishing 'village' and some lovely buildings. There are roman buildings scattered through the town. The Circo Romano didn't look like very much until you went in, under and up it. 2.50 euros for a pensioner entry was money well spent. Rambla Nova has a pedestrianised wide walkway and a fantastic monument to the human towers. The fiesta featuring the tower competitions was due to start the following week. The staff were pkeasant and heloful, especially those on reception We left the hotel 2 days earlier than we had planned and we were refunded in full the money for thise days.

We would have liked a restaurant or cafe/bar service. Particularly since the reception seating area was so pleasant

The hotel was located near shopping and just a stroll down the new rambla to see the seafront, old town and the roman sites. As we had a small car we were able to use the hotel parking which had elevators to our room floor. We got a nice room on the quiet side of the hotel with a view to a garden. The rooms were comfortable and we had a good night’ s sleep. The breakfast was also good. The hotel has a gym and a terrace. The people at the reception were very helpful.

The location is very good. It's not far from Rambla Nova. Across the street there is a supermarket, a large shopping center with a cafe and a supermarket within a 5-minute walk. The room is large, clean and quiet. The air conditioning is very good. There is a mini-bar and a bathtub. Wi-Fi works fast. The staff is so polite and friendly! Special thanks to the girl at the reception! She helped me a lot!

This is Marriott and this is quality guaranteed. Employees are extremely service-oriented, kind and proactive. Breakfast is great. Yes, the parking zone is very small and narrow, but employees on reception proactively informed about it, asked to park temporary in front of hotel, to check hotel parking place and, then, to decide - either you will aim for hotel parking or not. If you choose option not to park, employees forward you to the nearest parking place (the cheaper one) and, afterword, asked either it was successfully achieved. Great service in given conditions!

Super place to work from. Immaculately clean particularly the room itself. Room a little small but very nicely appointed with spacious bathroom area. Had a big bath in my room which I loved. Restaurant had some delicious choices to eat. Fabulous location for visiting a very special city. Very calm and cool vibe about it.

Receptionist was a bit abrupt when I arrived and asked for a room on a high floor with a view (denied of course) but everyone can have a bad day. Didn’t seem that the hotel was at all full so I guess she just couldn’t be bothered being helpful.

Perhaps organizing a new year party would it be great. Uber doesn't work in Tarragona (but it has nothing to do with the hotel), transportation system (busses and taxis) is great.

breakfast staff were unhelpful after we checked out at 12. wouldn’t let us sit in certain area and then refused to serve a drink as claimed cleaning after breakfast. At the time there was a storm outside so we would have happily stayed for a few hours if served reception staff could let those staying of festivals etc on in the area. so much to offer but didn’t know events were in.

Comfy bed and good shower. Staff are extremely nice and helpful. Given an additional hour to check out with no problem.

Parking lot is a bit narrow is some areas. Need to drive extra careful in it

The rooms were refurbished and looked nicer. They removed some parking spaces in the garage to make it easier to reach the next lower level. That is great improvement, because I've seen so many people damaging their car on one of the pillars. Also the breakfast room and bar has been refurbished. Looks nice now.

Wide room. The location was convenient for the bus station (with transfer to the high speed railway) but not to the railway station or the main attractions.

Breakfast could be better, specially the eggs. All you have as eggs is “tortilla”; can be ok for spaniards, but for international travelers is clearly insufficient. The lift could only take a family at a time. However it stopped everywhere even with people inside. Fortunately, there was not a lot of people staying at the time, otherwise one could stop at every floor, without anyone entering or exiting.
