While lovely and great value for money the hotel was a little more rustic than i had bargained for but as i was staying alone it was nothing to really complain about.

Location excellent for walking etc Staff/management all great - helpful, friendly and professional. Value for money was very good. Comfy bed, hotel had character.

Breakfast could have been better, but was still good! (Only real minor criticism is to put more out buffet-style eg bread and cake etc so people can have more or less without having to ask/waste if they had too much, plus it's less work for the staff) - but service was great as was freshly prepared/served food

Nice hotel in a large old Canarian house. I really liked the style of the place, big common living room with comfortable chairs and books, characteristic old details, sunny roof terrace. I had dinner and breakfast included and both were great, with good vegetarian options. The receptionist was very nice, she even ordered a taxi for me for the next day. Just note that the swimming pool is only open about half of the year, it is mentioned, but I overlooked it myself.

The Hotel is good. The weather was not! Can be an amazing location when you can see it but not if covered in cloud and wind.. That's the risk of the altitude of the location. 500m lower was in sunshine... Also note the apart from the Paradore the village restaurants closed at 18:00. Other options are 20 mins drive down the mountain.

Cozy place with charm and good location and nice host. Sip with a fireplace room for the cold evenings.

It was very cold in the morning and unfortunately there was no heat in the dining room. The dining room is not as cozy as a few years ago.

The setting is lovely and the views are incredible. Easy access to mountain trails. The food in the Tajinaste restaurant at the hotel is SUPERB.

Unfortunately the pool was out of action for two days but the team worked hard to fix this.

If you like modern, luxury hotels- this one is not for you. But if you're looking fore an authentic, rural climate- its perfect! The area was beauriful, i loved the romantic, vintage vibe. We loved real, old antique furniture. Bathroom was pretty modern and clean. Restaurant is really nice, we had delicious dinner there. And hens walking around in the morning... What an atmosphere!

The pool had broken the 1st few days but they soon resolved the issue, there is an alternative public pool in Tejeda village that we used instead and it was fabulous with great views.

The location is amazing. You can watch the stunning sun set from around the corner of the hotel. Perfect spot to start hikes after a lovely filling breakfast. Bus stops right outside to take you else where.

The properties charm is that it’s rural & rustic but this does mean it’s a bit old so the walls are quite thin & the pipes are a bit noisy but don’t let that put you off, you will sleep well after a day of hiking.

Very good location in the centre of Gran Canaria. Good starting point for walking tours in all directions. Nice little hotel with a restaurant. Delicious breakfast and a good variety of meals for dinner. Very friendly staff.
