Nice quiet town, great base for trips around . Beautifully decorated rooms, room view , helpful staff . I did eat twice in their restaurant, shouldn’t be missed ! Lovely fine dining , great wine . Parking behind hotel, 2 min walk- receptionist gave me an app for phone to pay for parking , which I found very useful and very cheap ! Hotel is beautifully decorated and well situated , walkable to everything- museums, restaurants, shops . Area on the roof with lovely views! Pity the bar was closed, when I was there , I guess it’s open only during summer season.

The church bells stop at midnight and start at 8 am , couldn’t sleep any longer. The church is right next to hotel. Didn’t have breakfast as there were not very healthy choices - fresh smoothies, vegetables, fruit salad , different style of eggs will be good .

It is a very beautifully renovated hotel. The staff were lovely and keen to help in any way possible. Breakfast was delicious and good quality. Galdar had a nice authentic Spanish feel with its church, market square, playgrounds, shops and tapas bar.

The see-through glass bathroom doors! I had read this was the case in previous reviews but presumed in the higher priced rooms the bathroom would have a door. I could see tape marks on the door that other guests had used as a temporary measure. The management should buy some portable blackout blinds as a temporary measure while trying to find a permanent fix. Parking is possible in nearby public car parks (for about €1 per day) but sometimes you have to wait to get a space.

Location was super, right in the center and in a historical building. Oublic parking was a bit difficult to find, but just around the corner for 1EUR for 5 hours / over night. Romm was spacious wuth high ceiling.

We were at the ground floor, so windows could not really open, only the upper part with a long stick which was a bit difficult. Shower had no curtain, so all floor got wet. There was also not really place to out towels to dry. Breakfast was moderate, good espresso and fresh orange juice, but the rest basic.

We stayed for 3 night ,the hotel was excellent, the staff were lovely. It is in a great location, there is parking in a nearby car park which is a short walk, but we found Parking on a street 5 min away. We did not have breakfast, but did have dinner one night which was lovely. The rooms was a good size and overlooked the side of the church. Be warned the clock does chimes, but we quite liked that. We were lucky enough to experience 3 Kings Day, so the parade went near the hotel.

Great central location just on the main square close to restaurants and bars. The man who served us breakfast was friendly and helpful and the breakfast itself was excellent with fresh fruit, cereals and yoghurt, usual continental fair, together with choice of eggs.

Receptionist on the Friday we arrived was not at all welcoming initially ignoring us as we entered the hotel. It is not clear where the Reception area is. It's actually an office on the right as you go through the main entrance door. Signage would be useful.

Beautiful hotel in the historic centre, next to the church and beautiful garden square. The room is lovely and there is a rooftop terrace with stunning views and glass-sided pool. The Cueva Pintada archeological park is right there, as well as other good museums. It's very easy to reach by public transport from Las Palmas and also there are buses to Sardinia and Agaete. The history of the building is also interesting (read on their website).

Perfect location next to the Santiago-church, beautiful historic building, very good room.

Although they accommodate a lot of Pilgrims of the Camino de Santiago de Gran canaria which ends/starts excactly there, the two friendy ladies in the reception clearly had no idea of the camino-route and couldn't tell me if and where there was a change to get drinking water on the next day. So I started out with 2l of water.

The location of the hotel was very scenic. It was nice to sit on the benches in the the sunny park square in front of the hotel among the locals. The breakfast was tasty with fresh orange juice, a selection of cheeses, Iberian ham, yogurt, dates, bananas and bread rolls of various types. It was served in the spacious inner hall of the hotel, a natural light-filled space which was made to look like an inner courtyard. I appreciated the glass bottles of still water and the bottle opener in my room.

Best order the Canarian Cafe leche leche in this place as everything else just doesn't taste like coffee. The glass sliding door to the en-suite in my room was as heavy as hard year and in the end I left the door open to the toilet as it was too cumbersome to deal with.

Good location for in town. The square is a nice place to walk around and visit the restaurants. Nice building. Safe area Clean room

I thought the parking was included, it wasn't. However - the parking lot is very close and for 2 nights stay I spent a total of 2 Euros. So not tragic.

Lovely boutique hotel, in an ideal location for visiting the museums of Galdar and Centro historico. Co.fortabl beds, stylish decor, quiet and peaceful with pleasant, light courtyard. Helpful staff and generous delicious breakfast. Only marked down on value for money as this was expensive for me but very much worth it for a little luxury.
