Very friendly and welcoming staff who were always ready to help, in particular with directions around the city. The staff did everything to make my stay very pleasant. The hotel is of modern but sympathetic construction, in keeping with the historic city, and is situated just on the edge of the historic centre of Toledo facing the ravine and River Tagus. Some rooms (mine was one) have lovely views. It is a short walk of 10-15 mins uphill to reach the main sights, which can be tiring in the heat and would be a challenge for anyone with mobility issues. However, I enjoyed the exercise and quickly discovered the fastest and most interesting routes to reach the University. It was also refreshing to leave the confines of the narrow central streets at the end of the day. Air conditioning in the room was very effective. There is a garage with ample parking (for which there is a daily fee) and as the hotel is on a main access road it is an ideal stopping off point for a stay in Toledo for anyone on a car itinerary. You can reach the hotel easily by car, park your vehicle and explore the city on foot. Buffet-style breakfast was €8.50 and ample if not lavish for the price. There were the usual options including cereals, cold meats, cheese, fruit, bread and croissants; and hot options including scrambled egg, ham, bacon and sausage, plus juices, tea, coffee, biscuits and cake. The breakfast room is very pleasant. My double room was a generous size with a comfortable double bed and was very clean. The bathroom was a little 'tired' and could do with a refurb, but in general the facilities (sink and shower) were adequate if not modern. I thought the rate represented good value as I was prepared to pay for a larger room and reliable air conditioning at night. Hotels of a similar standard (3-star) in the middle of the historic centre would probably charge a bit more for smaller rooms. I would certainly return on a future visit to Toledo.

Bathroom was dated and in need of a refurbishment. Not a great option for anyone unable or unprepared to walk uphill over the cobbled streets to reach the central sights.

The staff was really nice and helpful. The location is perfect, just in the outskirts of the old town facing the beautiful river view. It is more tranquil there than closer to the centre and it is easy to get there by car. However, you need to climb up to the centre but when you get tired, there is a bus stop on the other side of the street where the bus takes you to the centre of the old town for free!

The breakfast was ok but it would have been great to have more healthy and fresh stuff. There were apples/pears available but mostly the buffet offered ham/bread/sweet pastries.

Location: The hotel is located in the line of the medieval walls. Good balance between access by car to the hotel and access on foot to the historic center. Note that the cathedral and historic center is uphill by steep streets or stairs. Room: average size, a rack for one bag (a second one would be helpful), a writing desk, a refrigerator (important with Toledo climate); lighting: good. Bed: comfortable. Bathroom: small but functional, enough space for toiletries. WiFi: OK. Staff: At the check-in we have got a map of Toledo. Parking: We were lucky to catch the last available place at the street parking front of the hotel. The parking is paid 0.85€/h from 10am to 2pm and from 5pm to 8pm. For two nights we paid 8.5€. Quiet and safe place. The machine for payment is a challenge as you must press a button for ever 0.10€ increment but it accepts credit cards. The hotel has also a private parking in its basement but we have not asked for it and we were not offered a place.

Room, electric sockets: only one socket easily available, but occupied. Breakfast: A strange organization, small selection and limited quantity of food. In my opinion the organization presented as an anti-covid measure is actually a cost saving measure. First you must select in advance a time slot for your breakfast (this part is reasonable as it helps in keeping the distance during the breakfast). Then you select 4 items for your breakfast, having only very general description. And if you ask for water you lose one item. Avoid a juice as it is a juice-like mixture of water, sugar and flavor. Toast is good. Staff: At the check-in we were refused to have a second card opening our room. Strange and rather unpleasant.

Very solid and well priced 3-Star hotel with a nice breakfast. Is located in quiet part of city, a short walk to many fantastic sites. Also very close to Tagus River Walk (like 25 steps from entrance) - going either way you'll find amazing history. Fine staff and a quiet setting make this an excellent choice. It's quietly classy and in a great neighborhood. Good beds, bathroom/shower and a mini-fridge. I would definitely return - and look forward to doing so.

Everything was excellent

We liked the location - easy to drive to, parking under the hotel, easy to walk to the Jewish section and to most anywhere in Toledo. The staff was helpful and the rooms were clean and very nice. We had three single beds (a double and a single) which were very close together. Otherwise, everything was excellent.

The only minor downside was having the "two" beds so close together (a double, which is two singles) and the third single.

This accommodation is a little dated but you are in Toledo so what can you expect. The shower, however, was the best I’ve had in ages. Perfect for a hair wash and leg shave😉. Lots of room as it is over a bath and water pressure excellent. Good position for exploring the steep cobbled streets of the old town of Toledo. The garage parking was perfect and cost an extra 15 euro, about the going rate.

Nothing really. Room a bit small but fine for one night

Room was comfortable and clean. We had a nice view of the river from our room. There was a bus stop across the road from the hotel. It was a 10 - 15 minute walk to the old city area.

Whilst there was a bus stop across the road that could take you to the old town city area, getting to the train station was a little more tricky.

Great hotel. Neat and impeccably clean. Good sized rooms. Friendly staff. Private parking for 15 euros a night which is essential because street parking was impossible. Not a negative, but it's on the south side of the old quarter and every road back into the centre is up - reasonable walking fitness required to get around from this hotel. Great views over the river valley.

Fortunately we booked the junior suite which meant we had a lounge in which to enjoy a glass of wine. The room was very large and comfortable. Everywhere was clean. Staff were friendly, helpful and cheerful. Parking on site.

Advertised as having a bar but it was only manned by the reception staff and didn't serve wine and was really just the breakfast room where you could buy a beer in the evening. Without a functioning bar and restaurant a hotel really just becomes a B&B. To get to a bar or restaurant we had to walk at least 500m, not so bad if it hadn't been up a very steep hill. At 74 I found that very hard so it will stop me returning which is unfortunate as we really liked everything else about the hotel

Everything! Rooms were very comfortable. Beds were excellent. Staff were very helpful. The autobus goes from a stop just opposite the hotel, right into the old town. It was very cheap and reliable. We also used taxis which were very clean, with pleasant drivers and really cheap. Total success.

Nothing.
