they don't serve cocktails in the bar. lunch in the restaurant wasn't the best, especially BURRATA, it was out of date, super old. how could you serve that ?? our mistake was to not tell them on the spot

The location of the hotel is beautiful it sits raised up surrounded by gorgeous well tended gardens with show stopping views of Toledo. We found it easy to locate, ample parking and a lovely welcome. We upgraded to a suite which was absolutely magnificent, a huge living area, lovely bedroom with the biggest bed ever, the sense of luxury was carried through to the bathroom, lovely towels, a real feeling of opulence. Our room overlooked the gardens and we had a panoramic view of Toledo, absolutely gorgeous by day and night, lucky enough to see the sun rising over this picturesque city. We ate both evenings at the hotel, preferring the cafe menu to the restaurant menu, but that’s a personal preference. Breakfast was excellent. Quite easy to walk into town, slightly more uphill on the way back, especially walking up the slope into the hotel itself. The pool area looked lovey and was available to sun bathe but the pool itself was closed due to the effects of recent flooding in the area.

I’ve stayed many times! Great location without the hassle of navigating and parking in Toledo. Stunning views. Lovely gardens. Spacious rooms and great value for money!

Please oh please charge your guests a little more so that you can deliver a breakfast experience that isn’t locked into a time capsule from the 1980’s! The machine coffee is barely drinkable, made with powder - even the milk! The ambience, decor and food selection is a depressing start to the day. It’s such a pity as everything else about this property is fantastic, although the reception staff need some training in customer relations and how to engage with people.

Great location for access to the Town. Views from the Hotel were impressive . Speaking to other guests, we were all of the same opinion, that it had a unique feel about it. The Grounds were superb. Staff at reception, and in the Restaurants, were very professional and friendly. Sadly , one nights stay, didn’t do it justice. Would of extended, but we had to get down to the Costa Blanca, to our holiday home. However, will definitely go back to the hotel on another occasion.

Absolutely nothing. Anyone who has a negative comment to say, are being unfair.

the size of the room and the amenities were great

some parts of the room were impractical. such as the glass doors in the bathroom not really adding privacy or the door to the landing being awkward to open and close.

Very relaxing and beautiful hotel, though needs some renovation. The bed is extremely comfortable, the room and bathroom size is great! The hotel is well located at a peaceful and silent zone in a walking distance to the old city. Fantastic terrace with a stunning Toledo view.

No drinking water in the room as a compliment from the hotel, no bathrobe or sleepers. no kettle, though on the request the lady gave us one to use, for which we were grateful :) the room a bit dated, the soundproof from the corridor is ridiculous, we could hear the cleaning early in the morning. The breakfast is very basic for 5 stars hotel.

Beautiful setting. Wonderful views over the old town of Toledo. The gardens were lovely. The bathroom, although dated, was really well equipped with bath, great shower, separate area within the bathroom for toilet and bidet which had a glass door. 2 sinks, great mirrors. The balcony was spacious and we had a view over the garden and old town. It was too cold to sit out though as minus 1 degrees at night. The restaurant Olivo was fantastic, the waiters were helpful. The food was brilliant. Parking great.

This is a dog tolerant hotel rather than dog friendly. We were greeted by the rules of having a dog stay. The dog is only allowed to pass through the hotel to get to the room. No dogs allowed in any communal areas. The hotel is dated, the bed was big but uncomfortable. The pillows were quite hard. It’s a traditional hotel in look which is fine but comfort needs updating.

It had Janes Bond vibes, which we loved, like the glass elevator in the rocks. The pool was very nice, we enjoyed the food in the restaurant, the service was very good. We even got a bowl of crisps, for our hungry kids, before dinner opened for service. We loved the adjoining ground floor terraces. The hotel kindly ensured we were right next door to each other, as there was no family room available, The views of Toledo were exceptional. Oh and breakfast was super, lots of chocolate pastries!!!

Beautiful hotel with a great view towards the old walled town of Toledo. The room was large with a very comfy bed & a large ensuite with a bath & separate shower. We had patio doors, with table & chairs opening onto the garden which was ideal for our dog. Room service was excellent.

You couldn't control the heating in the room. It was centrally controlled & we found it too hot at 26c, but the only option was to turn it off completely. It would have been nice to have tea/coffee making facilities in the room.

This hotel totally exceeded our expectations. We stayed only one night but would have liked to stay longer. The view from our room was across to the old town of Toledo (lit up at night) and it was delightful. Room was spacious and comfortable and free parking was great. Checking in was friendly, efficient and quick and everything was spotlessly clean. We would like to visit Toledo again and this hotel would be our first choice even though it is a little way from the city centre.

The only criticism is that the hot choices at breakfast (bacon, fried eggs and scrambled eggs) were at best lukewarm and in the case of the bacon cold. This was pointed out to the breakfast room manager who promptly made changes and came back with hot bacon. The cold selection for breakfast was very good.
