How friendly the staff were and how clean it was.

We stayed here before it had a good little buffet breakfast its now gone and we really missed it.

Hotel Carmen Teresa was an absulutely great choice for our short holiday in Torremolinos. Location is perfect, it takes only a few minutes walk to the beach. We had a standard room with a huuuuge terrace. :) Breakfast in the BEAUTIFUL garden was very pleasant. Flowers and plants are so nicely arranged and cared about, we loved it. Eveything is CLEAN, all the STAFF is AMAZING, 5* receptionists who are super helpful and extra patient! I'd choose this place definitely again, so glad to chose this hotel to provide a peaceful and calm background of our holiday. <3

Excellent customer service , especially from receptionist Nicola who was willing to help and amend my issue. Very professional and attentive to my needs. Polite and friendly. There’s a nice lounge where you can seat and have a drink before check-in and a patio outside to enjoy a chat on a summer warm night. Excellent location, a few steps away from la Carihuela beach and restaurants.Comfortable bed and overall very clean even if basic.

No light in the bathroom which I only realised late . Window doors not closing completely . Kettle and mugs available but no teabags or coffee sachets . Receptionist Nicola was kind to provide when asked.

Clean basic room with good shower. Balcony with partial sea view. Staff were relaxed and friendly, always willing to help. I loved the pool area - relaxing, well maintained with plants, lawns and bushes around. Hotel is on a fairly busy road, but the pool is tucked away at the back and it was a lovely place to chill out.

I loved my stay, and I'll come here again, so nothing much to be negative about. Perhaps they could find a way to make the bar more of a feature (small pop-up outside in the garden maybe?) and more of the sunbeds could have adjustable head sections so you can sit up a bit instead of lying flat out.

The hotel was in a lovely set in a beautiful garden and nice pool. Very clean throughout sheets were changed twice during our 9 night stay also plenty of towels. There was a kettle and fridge in room which was good. Spacious balcony which overlooked pool & garden. Satellite Tv to keep up with the news😃

Toiletries were a bit sparse, but there was an Aldi nearby. Bathroom was lovely but a bit more storage would be good.

The hotel was quite basic however it had all you would need for a short stay. It was extremely clean and tidy and the staff were lovely and helpful. I believe they had a range of rooms at various levels of details i.e. some had a fridge in the room others not. The photos show the type of style of hotel and it is pretty and my option is of the 1970’s, the room we had was adequate for a 7 night stay a little small but as I say adequate. The receptionist did the bar, breakfast etc but that was never a problem the service was good. Breakfast consisted coffee, juice and a toasted baguette with jam or cheese and ham for €3.5/ €4.5 respectfully if you wanted it and paid daily so it’s up to you if you chose to dine in for breakfast. The hotel is on the main bus route either way towards Malaga or Fuengirola and into the mountains to Mias. The pool was good and we always could get a sun bed whenever we decided to lounge around and the bar was always open. The hotel is a 5 minute walk to the beach restaurant etc. We didn’t pay a lot for the 7 night compared to what we could have in neighbouring hotels <€700 so offered value for money in our opinion. All in all we enjoyed our time there and if ask the question would we stay there again the answer would be yes! We were there beginning of August 22.

The electronic key card for the door kept losing the door code as we had mobile phone cases with magnetic catches which seem to wipe the memory from the card if they got in close proximity of each other so needed to keep the separate.

The hotel was so close to the beach and all the cafes, bars, restaurants. It was exceptionally clean. Towels changed everyday and room cleaned and beds made. The air-conditioning was great. Nice big balcony which is a must for me. It was a lovely quiet hotel. We stayed here before years ago and I remember thinking what a little gem it was then and it still is. If not even better. Its not modern modern but its got a lovely atmosphere about it. Relaxed and chilled exactly what I needed after a busy summer. The staff were very helpful and nice. I would definitely go back again.

I can't say there was anything I didn't like. The rooms were a bit dated but to be honest the beds were very comfy and we didn't need anything else as we spent most of our time at the beach but we got a swim in at the pool too

Fab location and very friendly staff.Pool area and gardens are lovely .Breakfast available if required for reasonable price.Rooms are spotless and maids service rooms daily.Drinks priced sensibly unlike larger hotels. Small Issue with adjoining rooms that had been requested but this was speedily rectified and 2 fab rooms with a large balcony were hastily arranged the following morning .Much more personal and friendly than large chain hotels.

The location. The bus stops right next to the hotel, you don t have to climb anything to reach it. This made my holiday. I have done an early check-in, the personal was very helpful accommodating my needs, They were changing the matresses in the hotel, so I presume the next guests will sleep even more comfortable than me.

Even if the hotel is close to the beach, you need to climb a small hill, so I have decided to go on a different beach, near Puerto Marina to enjoy the water. They use for a duvet a very dirty blanket, very thin. The breakfest advertise it doesn t exist anymore: one small glass of juice, a coffee, and a single toast. That's it. You can eat on the cafe down the street, 4 bus stops from the hotel, very good with the same money.

absolutely fantastic value for your money. 1 street away from beach. 10 mins from airport. hotel beautiful and clean, rooms could do with an update on decor but exceptionally clean. my room was cleaned and fresh towels everyday m. Jose-Louis who was a fabulous host was so very helpful and helped me with the buses, he was so very helpful. oh and one big bonus for me, I liked early nights after travelling and it was good to lay and watch English tv, with access to all channels like home. you don’t get this in your big hotels, I’m going to fast I was felt and treated very well in this quaint hotel and would recommend. swimming pools and gardens were very clean too. thanks Hose-Lois for making my stay absolutely fabulous.
