(+) perfect location- 5 minutes walk to all shops, restaurants, bars and, the most important, to the beach!!! On the way, you’ll pass a few restaurants which serves Spanish tapas, fish and restaurants with Dutch cuisine; (+) big room with HUGE BED, balcony with the view of the swimming pool and almost whole area (let’s be honest-you can see almost everything from 7th floor), (+) 24/7 reception, lift, AC, bar, telephone, big shower, everyday cleaning available, TV, balcony with chairs, beach towels available to rent during your stay. (+/-) on one hand breakfast was great-nice choice of dishes-English breakfast, pastries, sweets, cereals, Prosecco served every day it’s a nice touch, pancakes; on the other hand, pastries felt a bit old like from other day, same with other dishes- if we came at the right moment dishes eggs were great, if not- felt old; (+/-) hotel is huge and well presented, however felt a bit dated; which is not a big deal just a matter of changing a bits here and there; (+) huge plus goes to staff- very professional reception 24/7- knowledgeable and polite; staff on breakfast- working hard, always smiling and being very helpful; bar by the pool- huge smiles, chatty; extra (+) goes to two people I unfortunately didn’t ask for names (that’s my fault I was too excited to even be there) 29.09 at the bar by the pool: a lady from Torremolinos who borrowed a wine opener to me and a man who made delicious Blue Hawaii cocktail- big thank you- you have a fantastic customer service skills plus you’re very warm and hospitable approach to everyone!!!!! All in all, perfect stay and definitely we are coming back!!! We are highly recommending Princesa Solar to everyone!!!!!

We've spent 6 days there. The hotel is 3 min walk from La Carihuela Beach. Absolutely amazing. The sea water was cold, but we had the swimming pool at the hotel, jacuzzi, sun beds, so we didn't really need to go out a lot. They've got bar, restaurant, next to the swimming pool, which made the staying absolutely relaxing, we've enjoyed every single day. Rooms with huge beds, nice bathroom and lovely terrace, if you wanna have your coffe there before going down to the swimming pool. All the facilities that you need. We did have a great time there and definetly we'll go back in August/September. We would recommend this hotel to anyone that wants peace and quiet and relaxing time!!!

Everything. The Staff in this hotel were Absolutely Amaizin, every single one of them. The place is spotless and just very friendly. I would like to give a big shout out to Fabio on reception, outstanding service, which gives credit to their Manager Raul. Always at breakfast to make sure everything goes smooth and again very welcoming. We are definitely going back next year and will book direct with Raul and I am sure he will look after us with price. Again thank you so much.

Not one thing, best hotel I have every stayed in as the staff just make this place.

The hotel was perfect, 5 minutes walk to the great beach & lively area of La Carihuela. Rooms are a good size, beds are comfy , bathroom/shower clean & i believe all have a sea view , even if it is from the side. Breakfast serving was good & plentiful. Never used them, but walked past a modern looking gym & pool area has 3 Jacuzzi's & a good sized pool & bar with plenty of sunbeds available. Save your money & overcrowded beach front hotels & stay here.

Don't be put off by the location.

The hotel is excellent. Before I booked it I read all of the reviews and someone described it as an hidden gem and it certainly is. All the staff are lovely from reception to the breakfast and poolside bar staff and the cleaners also. You get toiletries in your room which is a lovely touch. The rooms are modern and have a safe which there is no charge for which is also a nice touch. Everyone has a pool view also. There is no rush for sunbeds which makes a nice change. A special mention to the receptionist Patricia. She was so pleasant and helpful. The breakfast was amazing. There was everything you could want including Cava. The staff kept coming round with pancakes, churros and croissants which was lovely. We will definitely be booking this hotel again in the future.

There’s nothing to dislike about it but if I’m honest the toilet paper could be a little better and cooked breakfast maybe a little warmer.

The location was super.Literally less than 10 mins walk to beach/restaurants/bars.Staff were very friendly and helpful.Room was amazing.The bed was huge.Kettle & cups provided.Mini Fridge to keep water cool.There was always plenty hot water and the shower was great.Rooms cleaned daily. We were on the 5th floor but there was a lift which was very quick.We were never left waiting long.They had books at reception to borrow.I would definitely stay here again if I was back in Torremolinos again.

I thought the drinks were a bit expensive but found that in a lot of places during our 2 week holiday.View from terrace not great but only minor detail.

Absolutely love this hotel I’ve been coming here for ten years. The staff are all friendly and helpful and a special thank you to Carmen who is like coming back to see an old friend. The hotel is in the perfect location central to La Carihuela and you can easily walk into Torremolinos or Benalmadena from there. Bus stop directly outside that can take you to the lovely Mijas Pueblo. It’s clean and comfortable. The pool is in the sun all day and the beds are comfy.

There’s nothing really to dislike, but I’ve noticed that the saving of sunbeds with towels from early morning creeping in ( this needs stopping, it never use to happen at this hotel) some people were doing this then not going near them until 3pm! There are no locks on the ladies public toilets by the pool which to me makes them unusable.

From the minute we arrived the staff at this beautiful hotel couldn't of been nicer. Our rooms were beautiful and well air conditioned. We arrived late (midnight) so we went to the pool the following morning and it was fab with 3 spa pools as well as the pool. There was food and bar at the pool also and the staff were brilliant and always polite. The place was spotless and an absolute credit to the management and staff. A special mention to the house hold staff who kept our room spotless with fresh towels everyday I'll difinitely return with my wife. The king size bed we slept on was the most comfortable bed I ever slept on.

Hotel was clean, with good facilities. Breakfast was very good, with plenty of variety each morning. Rooms were adequate and had all you would need for a short stay.

Internet failed a few times, which also affected the TV, making it unavailable. While room had all the facilities, we were only issued with 2 coffee pods, and when reception was asked for more, these were offered for a fee of €3.50 each! We bought a box of 20 for €3.79 in a local store.

The hotel is lovely. Friendly staff and the breakfast was really good as well as the bar food that is served all day. Rooms are cleaned daily with fresh towels and bedding. Free aircon and safe. Lovely shower Beds are really comfy as are the sunloungers. Plenty of sunbeds and the hottubs are a nice added touch. It's a great place to stay and I highly recommend. 10 Min walk to the beach. Plenty of bars and restaurants locally. Great atmosphere. One of the nicest places I've stayed.
