Perfect location. We had a sea view room - beautiful views. Room service - excellent. Didn’t really get a chance to talk to the hotel stuff apart from Orlando who was extremely nice, helpful and thanks to him we extended our visit with no hassle, just has to change the room which was done perfectly. He also told us what is worth to visit in the area, which we did and we had an amazing time! Thank you Orlando! Also a big thank you to the cleaner - I regret I didn’t capture his name. Thank you once again!

Kettle and tea/coffee option in the rooms would be nice

The staff are so helpful and friendly here! We needed to use a mobility scooter and they charged the scooter up every night for us and kept an eye on it outside. We had a sea view room which was worth the extra for sure. Lovely sound of the waves crashing and you can people watch from the balcony. I think we were allocated a slightly bigger room than most because my Mum had mobility issues so this was very well received and gave us more space. The hotel is located on a lovely flat street, with lots of shops, bars and restaurants right on your door step which was just ideal for us, to scoot up and down with no traffic to worry about. Then at the back of the hotel is the beach, the hotel is literally on the beach. We really enjoyed our break and will be back again. Thank you for your kindness :-)

I was in the room with the sea view, loved the view, couldn't beat it, nice little balcony to sit out. Staff were very helpful,, nothing was too much trouble, as a solo traveller this time, felt totally safe.

The bed base a bit worn out, the shower/bath wasn't easy to get in and out, the bath was half the size of a normal bath , with a step in it so not a lot room to move, they need to just get rid of the tub and leave it as a shower area. , safer for older people.

Excellent location in the Carihuela district, facing the sea and surrounded by restaurants bars and shops. Very easy walking for older people, lovely long promenade stretching to the Bajandillo beach on one side and towards Benalmadena on the other. Lots of seating to break the journey. Hotel was good value for money, very comfortable and clean. The reception staff were extremely helpful; queries were answered promptly and any problems dealt with right away.

My only dislike was that I found the shower hard to control.

Being a hotel we expected facilities to have something to eat on site but with that not being there you would expect to have something in rooms to do so such as kettle toaster cups etc, on request we did receive kettle cups a spoon and an knife.

Great hotel - superb location - very Spanish. Loved the rooftop solarium and the inner courtyard. Rooms cleaned daily and staff did an excellent job. Hotel arranged airport shuttle back to Malaga and this was much cheaper than what we paid when we arrived.

No complaints at all. Would have loved a pool even though opposite the beach but we knew the hotel didn’t have one.

Location, location and location. Perfect location right on the beach, and with the nice shopping and restaurant street right behind. Very nice sea view from the room. Our 3rd stay at Hotel Mediterraneo Carihuela. See you again.

Some small improvements could make the stay even better. The roof terrace is very nice, but there should absolutely have been som sunbeds, and some better chairs up there. The sliding door to the balcony is very difficult to close and lock. We wish there could been an shelf on the bathroom for the toiletry bags.

We booked this hotel because of the amazing front line view and we weren't disappointed with the fabulous balcony and panoramic views of the beach and sea, great for people watching! . It's central location was ideal for strolling into Torremolinos centre or to Benelmadena, and there were many shops, bars & restaurants within a 5 minutes radius. There is a very convenient supermarket directly across from the entrance to the hotel which is easy to miss (took us 2 day!!) There was no kettle or hair dryer in the room however these are available from reception.

The room was a little tired but comfortable and to be honest we didn't spend a lot of time in there so it wasn't really a problem.

Excellent location, right on the beach front. The rooms aren't over a y bars, so not too much noise at night. Fridge in the room was a bonus, plus the staff were great. You can rent a towel for 1 euro. Plus taxis to the airport just 22 euros

No coffee or tea making facilities, but you can get a coffee in reception, and there is a cafe next door

The location of this hotel is fantastic. The front of the hotel leads you into a street full of shops, restaurants and a supermarket. The other side of Hotel looks over the beach which has various sections with beds and beach service. The staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Only suggestion would be to add some beds and umbrellas to the sun terrace on the roof although appreciate that most people use the beach I think it's a little hidden gem.
