We stayed there during our Camino walk. It was little of the route but very easy to get back on again. It was beside busy road but you wouldn't hear a thing at night. Room had a lovely view of the river. We had a dinner there and a lovely young Ukrainian girl was super helpful. She's a star of this stay. Breakfast was good too. Enough to power you up for a days walk. Shower was amazing

Only that it's on the busy road but overall would recommend if walking the Camino.

Typical of many hotels I stayed at in Spain and Portugal while on the Camiño from Porto to Santiago de Compostela, there’s no air conditioning. The staff provided me an oscillating floor fan as soon as I requested one and that made a big difference!

the rooms were very clean, the staff were very friendly and helpful. the food was outstanding and the roof top view with a couple of cervezas simply divine after a long days walk oh, and the quietest air conditioning unit ever so we had a sound sleep. we didn’t get woken up by people party or bins bing emptied at 2-5 am

Far above what I expected for a highway hotel across the river from the main town. It's categorized as 2-star, but the quality is 4-star. Huge, bright, modern and freshly furnished room and bathroom with large enclosed balcony overlooking the estuary. Quality linen, mattress, pillows. The whole hotel seems to have been recently done up with fresh carpeting, new wooden room doors with a keypad system, bright and modern staircase, glass walls, etc. It's true the facade is still under renovation, but once that's done, it will be a really classy place. The restaurant offers a few set meals for dinner. What is served is simple, really fresh, no frills/decorations, and absolutely delicious. And awfully cheap for a hotel of that standard. Breakfast is a full European buffet but without hot food options. Freshly fried churros for the kids! The staff speaks limited English but we managed fine. They are efficient and focused on providing good service. For camino pilgrims, this hotel is slightly off the standard route. But if you cross the river via the new bridge rather than the medieval one, your route is actually shorter. And you can easily rejoin the trail the next day via the road behind the hotel without going back into Arcade.

The rooms are so fancy, you would expect air conditioning and a mini fridge. But then it would probably be a 3 or 4 star hotel and cost much more! They do have a portable fan (strong and silent!). And there is a gas station shop exactly next door, should you need drinks/snacks.

Location on the Camino. GREAT breakfast included with the room. Very clean. Wonderful, accommodating staff.

The highway noise was a bit loud. Closing windows made it stuffy in the summer.

Much nicer than anticipated. Very clean. Great roof deck.

Lots of traffic noise if you sleep with open windows. Rooms with mountain view are better. Sauna was not working.

The staff are so friendly and helpful. The food is excellent. Had the best scallops! The rooms are clean and more than expected with even a hairdryer. Breakfast was also good.

The location is not great on the road

Front desk staff at all times was very helpful. The breakfast fit my needs. Location was enjoyable as it had water views. Great value.

It was a perfect stop for a weary traveler like me who had a certification exam the following day. White sheets, clean and free towels, hot and cold showers.

The TV was not smart.
