Suite on upper floor - changed original allocation which was handled very well by front desk - good sized balcony and view over lake and of the Lotus Tower. Food options very good for both breakfast and dinner. Dinner particularly offered super range of international food which was excellent opportunity to sample new foods. Coffee shop on lower ground floor - again good food options and take away - very good coffee. On same level a hairdresser and beauty salon - good manicurist and value for money. Travel office here too who organised several very good tours for us. Location of hotel is excellent .

The staff here were very professional. I like the cold drinks at reception when you arrive after travelling, it is very nice. The room was very comfortable.. I like the breakfast buffet, there was a good mix of local food and Western food that was all very tasty. I didn't have time to try the swimming pool but it looks very nice.

The breakfast was very busy so there was maybe not enough staff there. My table was taken by other guests a few times before I was finished and it was hard to find a free seat.

Cinnamon Lakeside Colombo is a one of the best hotels in Colombo. We commenced us around the country tour (three weeks) from and completed our tour from this fabulous hotel. During the entire stay of our journey (altogether 5 nights 6 days) we enjoyed a tremendous experience at this property. Most of the credit should go to the GM, Darshana and the hotel staff. They are wonderful, so kind and helpful. After a long hour flight, we thought we selected the best place to relax. Check-in and Check-out Process: Easy and standard process. No delay at all. Bellboy and baggage handling: It was outstanding. No hassle at all. Room and the facilities: The layout of the room, bed and furniture, bedding, and amenities were up to standard. Still, you can get the same facilities they provided before Covid. Food and Beverages: The food was awesome. All most all we had authentic Sri Lankan meals. Here are the restaurants we have been in this tour-The Dining Room, Goodies, ColomBar (will add feedback for each restaurant separately) Room service and Mini bar: Served in a hot cupboard. It took maximum 20-40 min to get the items we ordered. Pretty standard. Can’t see a real mini bar (note: due to the Covid) but you can get the items in a couple of minutes when call to the restaurant/bar. Laundry: It’s a one-day service and can get the cloths before 5p.m if hand over before 10a.m. Reasonable price, and service was superb. (Compare to the other places in Colombo we felt prices are cheap in Cinnamon Lake laundry) Housekeeping: As remember it was 24hrs service. Cinnamon Taxi: You can have a ride in a Audi vehicle with a friendly driver. Chargers are reasonable as can go in a comfortable vehicle. As remember vehicle was a SUV and driver name is Nandasiri. Nothing but as a suggestion better if you can provide 24hr room/bar service and more items on the menu.

Loved the hospitality provided by the staff. Sri lankan hospitality is unbeatable! Food tasted great. Loved the options. Dinner buffet was fantastic. Service manager Barie helped us out and accommodated our requests. Exec floor lounge staff were very accommodating as well. All service staff goes above and beyond to ensure that we have a good stay.

The service staff reduction was notable, especially in the restaurant. Some buffet items were not replenished once over but were replaced with something else. We stayed at the executive floor, but the rooms appeared outdated. The bed was not as comfortable as my previous stay. Besides the perks of exec floor, the suite wasn't anything special than a king bedroom.

I liked the hotel, the facilities, the food, and the staff. It was clean and organized. The staff goes above and beyond to do their duties and to make sure the guests are satisfied. They are very respectful. The breakfast buffet had a good selection of food. I had a great time and the staff made us feel special. It's conveniently located. I would stay again and highly recommend it to anyone.

Not able to buy water bottles with ease. The ones sold at the bar was quite pricey for less than a liter of water. Some breakfast buffet items were dry (string hoppers were dry, roti was hard). The fruit juices were great but could use less sugar. Air conditioning in common areas shut down at times. The pool area could use more shade and shelters.

Breakfast buffet was amazing and would go back just to eat there again. So many good options! We spent lots of time by the pool. It's amazing area to truly feel you are on a holiday. We even managed to test gym and sauna and enjoyed the good facilities. Big thanks to gym team for all help and good sense of humor.

Two things; 1) on Sunday this hotel hosted a pool party that went on late. Music was very loud. You could not escape it in your room. You couldn't enjoy peaceful dinner in the restaurant. Drunken party people were every where in the hotel. 2)I paid 45$ for airport pickup in another Cinnamon hotel in Colombo. I paid 67$ dollars for airport drop from Cinnamon Lakeside. I find this strange. Especially because pickup takes more time from the driver to wait arrival.

I have stayed at Cinnamon lakeside for multiple leisure and work trips. I just love the hotel! It is glorious. the rooms are spacious and comfortable, with amazing views of either the lake or the city. The rooms are clean and modern, especially the bathrooms. the complimentary toiletries smell amazing. The hotel has a great gym with more than everything needed, and a lovely pool. The buffet food is delicious! So much variety of Sri Lankan and western food. the staff are exceptional, especially Kamal, the F&B manager. Housekeeping staff are all incredibly friendly and helpful. nothing is too much trouble for anyone. looking forward to staying again.

Everything, top location, beautiful view from the window overlooking the lake, swimming pool and with the Lotus tower on the background. Staff is always smiling, helpful. We had a free upgrade to a club room with great view. The hotel is very elegant but not overwhelming. Live music all day. Buffet breakfast very good, high quality and super varied. Soy milk available, gluten free options, healthy and rich options. Many live cooking corners. The swimming pool is big and the lake is the cherry on top of the cake. The hotel has many facilities like shops, a bakery cake shop with reasonable prices. A few restaurants and the pool bar with drinks and food. Definitely recommended

Small feedback was given regarding a few things directly to the manager, I am confident it will be takien into consideration (single use toiletries VS a more sustainable choice:refilling dispensers) Sockets close to the bedside were missing. This can be also an improvement point

Stayed here for a night after a few weeks of travelling for some comfort and luxury, staff were great and helped with everything we asked for. There was an extensive breakfast provided, with European/continental and Sri Lankan/Indian options available. The hotel is located on the lakeside and makes for a very peaceful location with great sunset in the early evening. Located about 10 minutes walk from Port train station and equally walk able to Port and some great restaurants and bars.

our stay at this hotel was a treat to ourselves at the end of our holiday. we don’t usually stay in hotels quite so large but we are glad we did if only for 2 nights & it was amazing. the hotel was beautiful inside with a gorgeous lobby area. our room overlooked the pool & also the lotus tower. the room was spotless & had a bath tub & shower. there was also a kettle for making hot drinks. there is a minibar fridge which you can request to be stocked up. the hotel itself was very clean both inside & out with great facilities. the pool was a great size & so relaxing. there was also a gym on site. the breakfast was amazing with so much choice & everything we tasted was delicious. there was a Thai restaurant & a Chinese restaurant as well as the dining room. this was definitely the best place to end our trip to Sri Lanka. they even gave us a later checkout at no extra charge. I would definitely stay here again & will definitely recommend it to others.
