The room was comfortable. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Ease of access. Breakfast was fine. Exceptional views. Tuan at the reception desk, was very very accommodating and helpful which is why we extended our stay here. Tuan made it possible for us to extend the stay here. The other staff at reception were very friendly, Delsi in the cafe was very obliging and friendly. The tall doorman whose name begins with an S (Samath something?) was very kind and polite, even helped us cross the road.

Upstairs, above our room was at times very noisy in the night - where the rooftop restaurant was.

Everything was good really. I loved the way the staff there helped me to be honest. At first, I forgot to take my charger so the receptionist there was a gentleman and it was midnight. He was very kind and very helpful. I don't remember this gentleman's name or else I would have mentioned it. He did a smooth check in process and then he dug all his drawers to find me a charger. In the morning also, all the staff were nice. There was a madam named 'Dulanshie'. She was a very kind and helpful person. She served me well and was very kind. Their chef was an amazing person and their sweet corn egg drop soup was on point. So good. Thank you.

I am writing this feedback to express my appreciation for the amazing experience that I had during my recent stay at your hotel. From the moment I arrived to the time of my departure, everything was just perfect. To start with, the sea view rooms offered by your hotel are simply breathtaking. The room was spacious, well-designed, and provided an astonishing view of the sea that made my stay all the more memorable. The bed was comfortable, and I had a great night’s sleep after a long day of traveling. Throughout my stay, I was impressed with the helpfulness and politeness of the staff. Receptionist Steven’s hospitality service was top-notch, making my late-night arrival much more comfortable. The sandwich he arranged for me was thoughtful and a welcoming touch. I also appreciated the extra effort made by the waiters at the breakfast buffet, especially Raj, who always made sure that I had everything I needed. Moreover, I must say a special thanks to the bell-mans, security officer, and both the day shift receptionists. They were all very friendly and catered to all my needs. Lastly, I must commend your hotel's location, which is near the city center and to all the tourists attractions around Colombo. Transportation services arranged by the reception or bell desk saved me the trouble of arranging them, making my travel experience smooth and effortless. Overall, my stay at your hotel was an unforgettable experience, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a luxurious and comfortable stay in Colombo. Thank you for your hospitality. Wifi was not stable enough to work online. But a gentleman from Engineering tried helping, The problem is more likely from the network provider, cannot complain to tue hotel

The location was really good. 7km away from One Galle Face shopping mall. There's a supermarket a few blocks away. The train station is also nearby. The room was facing the ocean, so we could sleep and wake up looking at waves. Very beautiful and relaxing. The room and the other common areas were so clean. We didn't even see a single fly. Spacious rooms and nicely arranged. Although it is next to a road/ train line, we didn't hear any noise (a room on the 8th floor). We came to SL a few days ago. But only after coming to this hotel we could actually get a good sleep. Food was good too. Clean dining area and a good variety to choose from. There were both vegetarian and non- vegetarian food. Most importantly the staff exceeded our expectations. I was unwell when I first arrived having stomachache. But Dulcy was very helpful and kind enough to look after me like family. Same with Ajith and Samantha. Very caring and friendly. They seriously deserve a pay rise for their exceptional service! 🤗 Overall we are very happy about everything. We will definitely book again when we visit Sri Lanka next time... ♥️♥️♥️

The sea view facing hotel is fairly well maintained and breakfast is alright. The front office staff namely Shani Ma , Steven and concierge Sampath ..Dalsy from Restaurant were all accomodating and pleasant. Above all The General Manager Mr.Priyantha displays empathy and lends a listening ear patiently. The strength of the hotel lies in their staff attitude

The bathrooms are not well lit and a little jaded. The hot water also takes a fair amount of time to come

The Ocean Colombo provides for exceptional value for money. Check in was very smooth. Tuan at the front office is always going to great length to provide any help required. Each room has great ocean view. Rooms are clean even if old. Immaculate house keeping by Samanth. The breakfast included a wonderful combination of local Lankan cuisine with Indian and western cuisine. Wonderfully prepared by Nishantha and pleasing service by Raj. If you love the seaview, this is your place in Colombo

Awesome room with beautiful ocean view. Special thanks to the staff who made it so memorable. I would like to thank the bald restaurant manager and Ajith who were very humble and caring from the time we checked in. A heart full thank you to Dalsy who got baby food prepared and even fed our baby. A note to the Big boss, these people are the gem of your hotel.

The room. Very good view of the Ocean and partial view of the city. Very clean and comfortably relaxing. The shower and the jacuzzi in room was heavenly after long hours in the heat outside. The friendly staff at the reception and housekeeping. Special thanks to Steven at the reception counter and a great salute to Raj showering us with great Sri Lankan hospitality

Was told to be able to check in at 11am and check out at 4pm (if available???) check in at 1pm told to wait until 2pm and on checking out, we were offered a smaller room at a discounted rate until 6pm. As our home going flight is midnight, we have no other choice but to accept the deal.

Staff was very helpful and friendly. Front desk lady Chanima was very friendly and informative. Doorman Ajith was very friendly and helpful. The view was very beautiful. Lots of restaurants walking distance and very good prices. Watch the trains go bye. Can’t hear any noise from the room.

The Hotel needs some TLC. Surrounding area is not that great. Very old rundown buildings but the area is very safe.
