The location of MaRadha is right in front of Marine Drive and excellent place to stay in Colombo. Everything is within close proximity, great Indian Ocean view with the rail tracks along the way. All the staff are friendly and knowledgeable about their respective duties towards guests. The Healing Cafe Siddique was very welcoming ,Pradeep at The Roof Top Restaurant served exceptional food and beverages , Breakfast Area and of course the Guided Tour provided by Udesha was phenomenal!

Staff was very helpful and friendly, gave us valuable tips for our stay in Sri Lanka (special thanks to Ganga)! Great location right at the waterfront with spectacular views and also in walkable distance from some nice cafés and restaurants. To Galle Face it only took us 10 min by TukTuk. We also enjoyed the small gym and the comfy beds.

If I have to name something than that you could not watch TV from bed in our room. But then again we had a fantastic sea view.

I recently stayed at MARADHA Colombo, and I must say that I had a great experience. The room was maintained really well, and it was very clean. The housekeeping staff did a fantastic job of ensuring that the room and toilet were spotless. The bed was comfortable, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. The counter staff were very pleasant and polite. They greeted me with a smile and made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. They were also very helpful in answering my questions about the hotel and the surrounding area. The hotel itself is well located, with easy access to public transport and plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. Overall, I would highly recommend MaRadha Colombo to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in Colombo. The hotel staff are friendly and helpful, the rooms are clean and well maintained, and the facilities are excellent. I will definitely be staying here again on my next visit to the city.

1) Everything ! I stayed from the 29th through the 4th of Feb 2023 I booked another day through booking .com in order to post a review as my original booking was accidentally cancelled. I have been to Colombo over 32 times and stayed at many many Hotel’s through out Colombo as I love supporting “ LOCAL” Hotels and not “ CHAIN” Hotels.. Hands down this is the “ Best Hotel” that I’ve ever been to within Colombo and 100% better then even the so called “ 5” star hotels. If you are visiting Colombo be it Leisure or Work, One must / should stay at this Hotel… I was blown away the minute I stepped onto the premises of this Establishment. The Ambience is absolutely breathtaking . The room was superbly clean and beautiful / bathroom superbly clean and spacious just “ Terrific” in all. Excellent amenities in room, excellent Wi-Fi , excellent t.v channel selections / view facing the ocean was just breathtaking. Roof top pool so beautiful as well. 2) STAFF :- I can not even come up with any sort of adjective to even begin describing “ The Staff Members” Absolutely 100% Terrific individuals the all of them. Front Desk, Cafe Associates, Housekeeping, Restaurant Staff, I wish that I could give them all a score of 1000 and beyond I would … Ms. Ganga and her team Superb. Every single individual in this “ HOTEL” are truly gifted when it comes to Customer Service / Genuine Kindness and making you’re day. I can go on and on with regards to the all of them. I will say this though the “ Owner” who I did meet btw should just be extremely Proud of all of his team member’s of every single sector … 3) Breakfast :- Mind-blowing setup and selection ( I am not exaggerating) I have never seen a set up Breakfast Buffet like this. Variety / Taste / Beauty of the set up/ Taste / Staff… Exceptional is all I can say… 4) Owner :) I had the Privilege & Pleasure to have met the Owner of this Establishment during my stay.

If there is any issue.. For some reason the Music is played very loudly during the early morning Breakfast which I had to ask them on two different days to plz turn it down and on one other day another Male Guest got up to turn the volume down on the box that they were using to play this Music as lovely as this Music is / was being that loud is a bit uncomfortable for the ears.

Rooms were spotless, and the facilities were well-maintained. The hotel's cleanliness surpassed my expectations. Exceptional customer service, with a commitment to making our stay comfortable. I would like to mention our service staff at breakfast destination and our housekeeper lady. They are very professional and kind. Thank you so much for your lovely service.

There was some issue with smart TV. We reported serval time but wasn’t fixed during our stay. And I’m confused with upstairs restaurant sky yard billing process, they gave me hand written bill which was 17 thousand when I asked computerised bill they refused for that, however staff was very polite. And apart from our restaurant staff and housekeeper no one from management asked us about our stay at the hotel till our departure. We meet at least 3 times front office staff but no one has time to asked about comfortable or do we need anything else. Definitely would stay here again and recommend it to others but has to review some area.

1. Incredible staff with a special shoutout to Hevinda, Thamara, Minura, Noroshan, and Dilanki! They were very friendly and helpful. 2. My room was clean and comfortable. Crank up the AC and you're good to go. 3. The Breakfast included a delectable array of local and international dishes. 4. The rooftop offered a beautiful, serene sea view. A respite from the daily heat/humidity. 5. There were several restaurants, cafes, malls, and supermarkets nearby. Highly recommended!

We recently stayed at this hotel and couldn't be happier with the experience. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that cleanliness and comfort are top priorities here. Our room was immaculate and incredibly cozy, far exceeding our expectations. The staff were truly the highlight of our stay front staff as well as the staff at the restaurant - kind, friendly, and always ready to assist with a smile. The hotel offers excellent value for money, especially considering its prime location. Just a short distance from numerous attractions and shops, making it easy to explore the area. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The vest hotel we stayed in Colombo so far with world class service.

Laundry service was not available at the moment. Would have been a plus if added to the service.

We had a wonderful stay at Maradha Hotel and would highly recommend it for anyone visiting Colombo. The location is amazing, offering stunning views of the waves and proximity to rail stations, as the hotel is situated on Marine Drive. We stayed on the 8th floor, which was perfect since the Sky Bar on the 9th floor was easily accessible. We enjoyed happy hour there at 5 pm, especially the Lion draught beer, and had most of our meals there as well, since we didn't plan to visit many other places during our short stay in Colombo. We highly recommend trying the bar pub's cheese nachos with chicken and the chicken sizzler. Our room was superb, featuring a comfortable bed, a smart TV for watching Netflix and streaming music, and a great bathroom with super hot water from the shower. The room also had coffee and tea-making facilities with a water kettle, daily cleaning service, and an excellent air conditioning system. For our stay, we had daily breakfast included in the package from 7-10 am, and we recommend going before 9 to get the best selection for the day. Some of the other facilities, which we didn’t use but definitely appreciated, included a spa and excellent WiFi, which allowed us to stream movies online. Lastly, the staff was amazing and very kind, ready to help whenever needed—from the reception to the breakfast team, and especially the guys at the Sky Bar, whom we would like thank!

However, we didn’t really like the taste of the drinking water provided by the hotel, so my girlfriend and I opted to buy water bottles daily from a convenience store located 2 minutes away on foot. We ordered tandoori chicken pizza on the first evening, which was so good, but when we tried to get the same for the next two nights, it wasn’t the same. Either it would be loaded with bell peppers and raw onions, or it just didn’t taste the same, unfortunately. I guess it wasn’t meant to be. Also, note that the prices do not include the tax and service charge on the menu, which I believe is normal in Sri Lanka

Perfect location, easily reachable, friendly and cooperative staff, great view, superb food, well maintained.
