Such a lovely hotel and great value for money! Rooms had an amazing view of the jungle and the pool was so refreshing! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, especially the manager Charminder who was kind enough to take us on a walk to a Buddhist monastery near the hotel. Quite possibly the comfiest bed in Sri Lanka! It’s a ten minute tuk tuk into Kandy and the hotel can organise this for you. Really nice to spend our last three nights here in the hills. Very quiet and peaceful yet can head into Kandy very easily. Fresh fruit for breakfast was lovely.

MAGICAL!!!!!!!💓 Imagine being in the mountains, seeing green everywhere, waking up to birds singing, going to sleep watching the stars and the moon from your bed and relaxing in your balcony with the sound of the nature. This is what you'll get in this place! (The moon part is if you're lucky enough to get our room 😋 room N°1). We're normally traveling on a budget, but we decided to indulge ourselves and take a chance with this place, and it worth every penny! The owner are super nice, the free meditation (mix with some Buddhism lessons :)) in the morning was a great way to start our day, and the place is just beautiful. Some recommendations: - Download the PickMe app. The location is amazing, but it's a little bit outside of the main area of Kandy. So with this app your life will be easier (and cheaper:)) - All the rooms are amazing, but try to get the room number 1 for the view of the moon from your bed - Plan your trip so you'll be able to enjoy a morning or a sunset in this place.. - If you're into Yoga, this is the place for you!! My girlfriend and I are so happy we stayed here!!!! I'm sure you'll be too

Highly recommend it ! A bit of a climb but once I reached there , I couldn't believe my eyes . The view from this hotel up in the Hnthana mountain range is insane .Surrounded by nature, it's so peaceful and the views are just out of this world. Perfect spot for a tired traveller to chill. everything about this place is spot on. The rooms are spotless clean , and the staff? We give them a big thumbs up ! They're super friendly, always ready to help, and the manager is a real legend. He tried his best to get us train tickets to Ella, but when that didn't work out, he sorted us out with a taxi for a decent price. Thank you for your kindness Mr. Manager ! And the breakfast ? Colourful and yummy sums it up. Local tea, coffee, and those fresh fruits ....mmm ..... absolute winners ! We only had a day in Kandy, and we're kicking ourselves for not staying longer in this dreamy place. No doubt, we're planning to swing by again next year.

The grand hills was the best hotel out of 7 hotels that we stayed at while visiting Sri Lanka. The scenery was breathtaking and the setting was truly peaceful, giving the impression you are in a remote area while you're only 15 minutes to Kandy city. It also had the best free breakfast fresh, hot continental and Sri Lankan foods, pastries, fresh juice, and coffee/tea. The staff was very courteous and helpful. The rooms were also the cleanest of any hotel we stayed at and we had hot water. Hotel owner is very kind person he arrange for us taxi kandy to hikkaduwa with rereasonable price. Overall, come here if you want a tucked away nature connection with the excitement of Kandy close by. We will be back!

Everything was perfect

The staff was very friendly and made our stay very comfortable. The room was also exceptionally clean and neat. with needed amenities with a private balcony and beautiful mountain views The breakfast & dinner delices The location is fantastic. The sound of the small waterfall across the road was music to the ears. The mountains view hanthan hills, the lush green forests, and the closeby birds, monkeys, and butterflies are just to enjoy in this place. Real value for money. Overall, we had a very peaceful stay there and I would recommend this to anyone who wants to escape the busy town and enjoy some peace and quiet time.

My wife and me enjoyed the magnificent view from our balcony. The staff is very friendly and helpful, especially the head of the staff. They gave us an additional towel on request and sent our clothes to local laundry. We spent 9 days in the hotel and found a lot of things to do: tracking in the beautiful mountains, Tea Museum that used to be a tea factory with 100 years history. Birds park is a small but interesting place where you can feed parrots. The city center is about 4 kilometers, so you can use Tuktuk

What an absolutely splendid place! We were utterly amazed by the breathtaking views upon our arrival. The surrounding hills rolling away as far as the eye could see, their tops capped with mist—simply enchanting. The hotel itself was nothing short of fantastic, a beautiful structure where every nook and cranny was spotlessly clean. We were graciously accommodated in a spacious, beautiful room with views of the mountains and the pool. The staff greeted us with a warm welcome and were ever so helpful in every conceivable way. Transportation to and from various interesting sites around Kandy was seamlessly arranged by the attentive staff. The days in this delightful haven were incredibly calm and tranquil. Nestled in the lap of nature, we were treated to cool breezes and the delightful sounds of birdsong. Every so often, we were graced with glimpses of small deer, mongoose, or even a porcupine. The culinary offerings were nothing short of marvelous. Breakfast was a true delight, a wonderful combination with a distinct continental touch. The dinners were simply splendid, featuring fantastic European, Sri Lankan, and Indian cuisine. One could not ask for more. This place is an absolute haven for the weary tourist. Cheers to an unforgettable experience!

Absolutely nothing!

Very beautiful place . Mountain views are breathtaking . Our room was a large , beautiful room . Very calm and quite environment . They served a very nice breakfast . Also dinner was very good . Food are very tasty . There's water fall nearby . We heard its sound all the time . We liked it . Also we could see a lot of wild animals . Everything about this hotel is very nice . Everyone in the staff is very friendly , their service is superb . Everywhere inside is very clean and tidy . There's a well maintained garden too . Pool was very beautiful and very clean . We will be back there soon .

We spent a three lovely nights in The Grand Hills Hotel. The hotel is located on the top of.the hill offering you breathtaking view. Hotel is located only few minutes from a City Centre, You will find here great stuff, happy to help you in fullfilling your needs like transport. We were 9 prs group and Hotel manager organised us perfect transport to the city and later to our next destination. Rooms are big, comfrortable and clean. Don't forget to swim in a pool with the most amazing view ❤️👍. I really recommend this place. ❤️

The overall experience we had at the hotel was excellent. The surrounding is very calm and relaxing. Very spacious Room with private balcony views is amazing and ideal to have a relaxing break from your busy life. Rooms were clean and food was delicious with lots of varieties. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Hotel arrange the city toure visit some of the most unique places..I recommend this property to all those who wish to visit Kandy for a nice homely stay♥️♥️♥️🙏🙏🙏
