Such a lovely hotel and great value for money! Rooms had an amazing view of the jungle and the pool was so refreshing! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, especially the manager Charminder who was kind enough to take us on a walk to a Buddhist monastery near the hotel. Quite possibly the comfiest bed in Sri Lanka! It’s a ten minute tuk tuk into Kandy and the hotel can organise this for you. Really nice to spend our last three nights here in the hills. Very quiet and peaceful yet can head into Kandy very easily. Fresh fruit for breakfast was lovely.

The staff are incredibly friendly, and with such a small hotel, they remember who you are when you pass by. Nestled high above Kandy, the views are stunning. The pool offers stunning photos and that bit of relaxation that we all look for. The hotel grounds are lavish. It is incredibly quiet at night, for that good night's sleep. This hotel is highly recommended for couples looking for a beautiful, peaceful getaway.

High up in the hills of Kandy we found this paradise and a very warm welcome.The garden alone in this property merits the attention of every nature lover and is a continuous labour of love with hidden surprises around every corner. As for our room, it was extremely spacious and the wide wrap-around balcony provided us with spectacular views of the Hanthana mountains Range. One night was all too short. This small hotel offers pickup from as far as Colombo airport. They really make sure that you feel at home from the moment your plane touches down. The restaurant is exceptional. They have great dinner buffets where we had the best food we ate in Kandy. We didn't use the outdoor Yoga studio or the Ayurveda spa, but both look beautiful and serene, as did the swimming pool.This hotel was a truly surprising find and we will be back - only this time for a longer stay. I recorded a video of birdsongs here which is my best one yet of all of Sri Lanka. What a place.

Absolutely Beautiful Resort! The hotel is located at the top of a mountain Everything is well maintained and clean. There is quite a lot of nature around with the garden maintained by them. with plenty of wildlife to entertain (monkeys, birds and a giant squirrel) The staff and service were 11/10. They offered a great selection of fresh and tasty food and drinks. The hotel offers spectacular views over the hills of Kandy. The Pool was huge, relaxing. I received such a warm welcome, people were perfectly friendly and attentive. The food is also delicious and has big portions, for good prices. Nice trip through the mountains from Kandy by tuk tuk. Lovely place for a getaway, I would recommend it!

One of the greatest places to spend your vacation in the breeze of Hanthana mountain range. The hotel's hospitality ought to be highly appreciated. The ethics they follow and smile they offer, add value to their great service. THE GRAND HILLS was absolutely amazing. The hotel itself was extremely well maintained, clean and had everything you could possibly want. The first time you drive up the road it is extremely hair raising but totally worth it for the view and calm once you’re at the hotel. Waking up to that view is something that will be hard to forget. it was so beautiful. you can see the birds from your balcony and it's so relaxing to see monkeys and different birds flying around your balcony The rooms are beautiful with mountain view's with private balcony and we enjoyed the tasty breakfast and dinner. The staff is very kind and helpful. thanks for all your help for memorable stay. we will definitely come back highly recommended.
