Really nice, simple resort. Great food, helpful staff, nice pool and just by the beach.

As a western woman I do not appreciate male staff asking my number or instagram. In western countries that is considered creepy and you could lose your job. This happened once and I hope you educate your staff, so that also women visitors feel safe and comfortable. Also my room smelled like poop from time to time, I think something with pipes. Staff came to cover the smell with some spray so that was ok for my one night stay.

Just loved our stay at Naomi, it was our last stay in Sri Lanka and it exceeded our expectations and was a wonderful way to end the holiday. Staff was extremely friendly and warm, especially Ram at reception and Kamini at the bar, who made us delicious cocktails. The rooms are gorgeous and have the BEST view, we slept and woke up with the sounds of calming ocean waves. The location is just brilliant - the pool is gorgeous, with the private access to the beach also if one would like to take a walk or even a dip. There are a couple of cute shacks on the beach and even around the property - lovely local joints if one wants other options apart from hotel restaurant - which was also quite lovely. The staff were prompt with any help we needed, including getting us a taxi out from Weligama.

The rooms are very spacious and clean, the view from the porch was stunning. The breakfast was nice and lunch was delicious. The staff were super helpful and always checking in to make sure we are ok.

The outside of the hotel is a little off-putting (building and hallways) but once inside you completely forget about it, although for what they charge a night I think it should be addressed. My partner was gluten free and there were no real bread alternatives for her at breakfast. Many other places we stayed at in Sri Lanka were more flexible providing alternatives as there are many local GF options such as hoppers, rice flour and kurakan flour.

Nice location beach front hotel. Friendly staff. Nice swimmingpool area and room with balcony and ocean view. Clean and quiet. Loved sleeping with the balcony windows open and the sea breeze and the sound of the ocean.

Breakfast was average and very small portions. Kept asking for more bread more honey more jam more.... For this reason we did not dine at the hotel restaurant which was very expensive compared to typical sri lankan restaurants in the area. Shiran just 100m from the hotel is a very good option for a good price quality local food. Also there are no sunshades by the pool. The beach is for surfers not good for swimming. It Is also too short for good walks and with just a couple of spots to seek protection from the sun under palm trees.

This incredible property is one of the few to be situated right on the beach, with all the rooms overlooking the sea. Everything about this small hotel is wonderful! The swimming pool, also overlooking the ocean, has ample space to relax; and their restaurant has to be the best in the area. Everything we ate was delicious! We stayed for 4 nights and could happily have stayed longer. There is a natural tidal pool within easy walk and I had at least one turtle join me every time I swam there. My husband surfed right outside! No need for jumping into a tuk tuk to search for waves. Jamu surf hostel is just 2 roads away where daily drop in yoga classes are offered. Oh and best of all…the staff! So very friendly and helpful! All in all, a phenomenal stay!

Amazing location, right on the beach and walkable to restaurants and local shops. The room was big and very clean and the view from our room was unbeatable. The bathroom was also big and clean and had refillable products. There was also a fridge in the room which was handy. Water in refillable bottles provided each day. The food was excellent. We had lunch and some cocktails in addition to our daily breakfast a couple of times and everything was great including the service. All of the staff were super friendly, helpful and welcoming. The hotel grounds and the pool are immaculately kept. Surf is right out front as well. We stayed for a week and were sad to leave.

Nothing, everything was perfect

Everything, from the beginning the stuff was super kind and helpful, location is absolutely stunning, the hotel is just at the beach and waves are coming so close to hotel's restaurant. Hotel has its private beach so it's almost empty, just sometimes some people cross the beach but there are not really other hotels around , especially at the beach. He had really great relax there and regretted that we needed to leave this magical place. Food was delicious and homemade coconut ice creams in real coconut stole my heart and I've never had ice cream like this again in any place! You can really relax in silence at this place also because there is no children's facilities and it's like a "wild" and silent area. This place is really like in heaven! I wish I can come back there soon!

I really can't find a bad word especially that the place is going to be renovated just a week after our visit!

Beautiful location right at the beach. Looks like a little paradise. All rooms have ocean view and you also have a spectaculair view from the pool. Room was clean and spacious, with very nice bed, aircon, hot shower and a great balcony. Staff is really nice! You can choose your own breakfast. Also a couple of nice restaurants nearby.

The music in the dining area and pool. Way too loud and not even that good. I asked to turn down the music a couple of times, because it was just too disturbing. I come there for peace and listening to the sound of the ocean, not to have some kind of disco with bad music.. please knock it off and the place is perfect!

This is by far the best hotel we stayed at in Sri Lanka. This hotel is just perfect. The location is unique, the beach is not crowded and the sunsets at the beach hut next by are breathtaking. Food is great, rooms are clean and all of them have a great view. Price-Quality= 10/10 And the best part is the amazing staff. Everyone, from the cleaning to restaurant staff was extremely professional and kind. Thank you for having us, you can be proud of this hotel :)

The views, the hospitality & the overall vibe of the place was pleasant. They have a nice & clean outdoor pool and a little restaurant by the beach. Special mention to Yehani, who checked us in with the sweetest smile ever & Rodney who always took good care of us during the whole stay. We had an early morning activity planned on our first day of the stay. We returned past our breakfast time (complimentary meal). Rodney was kind enough to accommodate our request of late breakfast. Overall - must stay to enjoy good hospitality, views & tasty food. This property is at Midigama which is a few Kms from Weligama. We wanted to go for surfing classes and we found a perfect teacher named 'Sanjee', next to the property. Just leaving this info here, in case any one is looking for amateur surfing lessons.

Restaurant menu is tasty (esp. loved the Sushi) but a little limited.
