The location of the hotel was good and within walking distance to the centre/shops/restaurants. The standard room was adequate with good lighting. We felt the room was a bit small and basic, but the comfort of the bed made up for the size of the room, which we anyway only used to sleep in. The breakfast was superb. A huge choice of both hot and cold food. I would return to the hotel just for breakfast!!

The underground garage was good and easy to use but costs 150SEK which we thought should be included in the price.

The hotel is situated very close to the Stora Torget. Several pubs and restaurants are available nearby, which is very good. Free parking lot on the weekends is available three blocks away.

The sauna is located at the men's shower area. This makes it uncomfortable and allow people to use the shower for other purposes, even for couples, as my boyfriend saw and heard. The room is quite tight. So maybe the bed could be arranged in a more functional way.

Town centre and a couple of minutes walk from the sea and small town beach. Walking distance to food, water, shops and train/ bus station. Helpful staff, good facilities. We enjoyed the pool and the gym Sauna is not on all day so need to time it if you want to use sauna. We went in winter and it was rather quiet, especially during the week.

Extra single bed for our child could have been more comfy, but it was as described when we booked.

We had a suite, so the room was very big with a living room and a fridge. There was a nice bathtub and it was really dark at night with the curtains drawn so we could sleep well. The breakfast was also very good with several types of smoothies, fruit, some warm food, cheeses, etc. The staff was very friendly and the pool had long opening hours.

The pool was warm by Swedish standards, but it was a bit short. Since there was a lot of space after the end of the pool it would have been easy to have built it longer.

Our room was very clean, we had a junior suite and we had plenty of space, it had a living room with a desk and tv, small fridge, traditional Swedish bathroom was great. The bedroom had two comfortable chairs and plenty of space for our things. We live in the next town over and come here to get away and enjoy Kalmar. The breakfast is my favorite, loaded with everything, I wish they didn’t take out the waffle maker but I know what a mess that thing can be. but I was very happy they replaced it with Swedish pancakes, strawberry preserves and whipped cream.

Old fashioned place with a charm. Very comfy beds. Hotel very clean and comfortable. And what is the most important for me - DELICIOUS FOOD! Scrambled eggs made with eggs, not with egg powder, coffee certified Rainforest Alliance, fresh bread. All fresh and tasty. I will book the same hotel when travel to Kalmar!

I love everything.

Breakfast was excellent, lots of different varieties for everyone's tastes. Hams, cheeses, breads, salad bar, waffles, coffee, eggs, beans, pasties, fruits, yoghurts, etc.

Breakfast was plentiful and varied and the Hotel provided a takeaway option if you where planning on going out at Breakfast time. Th location was perfect for us, east to walk to amenities, restaurants and sites.

On a personal note the beds where a bit too soft for us, although this is not a criticism of the Hotel as they have to find a happy medium for their guests.

Really good location, very helpful staff, well maintained cleanliness, all the facilities were good especially Free Coffee and cookies, Used Swimming pool, Sauna and Played Table Tennis, Good Breakfast, my family thoroughly enjoyed our stay there

A little bit different choices in breakfast for different days.. overall it is good but a person staying for more days would be more happier if 1-2 choices are new/ replaced from previous day’s menu.

The reception staff were extraordinarily nice, friendly and efficient. Overall my stay was very smooth, nice and comfortable. The location is perfect, close to the railway station, the city centre, and the university.
