Arrived early, but had immediate access to our room. A load or two of washing can be done at the hotel for a very reasonable 100 SEK per load. Dry folded washing returned the same day. Very convenient location, within easy walking distance of railway station, restaurants, and old city gate, and not too far from the castle.

Breakfast was really good and versatile, including also many sweet things that I like. The staff was very kind and helpful, they even encouraged me to bring my bike to my room, which was very practical. Also a drinking automate with cold water in the hotel corridor near my room was a nice surprise!

I didn't like the view on the glass ceiling in the breakfast room, as it looked very dirty and spoiled the atmosphere to some extent. When I arrived at the hotel and asked for parking, the receptionist didn't even mention that there is a garage in the hotel, but I found it out later and managed to get my car inside (and of course paid for it).

Very comfortable beds, clean, spacious and well equipped bathroom; wonderful breakfast with plenty of options to choose from, freshly made, flavorful, available from 6am to 10 am; friendly staff, even though the parking wasn't included, the receptionist was very helpful indicating where we could find public parking very nearby. Location was perfect, nearby all attractions, restaurants and beaches; there was coffee, tea and biscuits available all day long and a cozy common area to sit and have a drink or fika. 24 hours reception available. Easy and quick check-in and checkout.

The room was a bit warm for my taste, it was alright with the window open but then bugs or noise would get into the room, a fan in the economy rooms would be convenient. The door slam themselves shut, so it can be very noisy, you can hear and feel the door slamming from other rooms, also other noises can be heard while the cleaning staff is tidying other rooms up.

Location, early breakfast 6-10 am on weekends. I had a very spacious room with space for yoga but I think I got an internal upgrade.

Very small breakfast area with roof windows only. I guess when there are more people like a busload they sit in the lobby area, which is not far from the breakfast buffet. Could still get stuffy.

Parking in the underground garage should have been 150 sek each for our 2 motorbikes. We chosed to stay in a nearby public car park for free.

Location is just perfect to many tourist spots. And breakfast menu is great. Jeanette the front staff is very kind and very helpful. The other receptions lady is not so much. Public parking is also available in the neighborhood with fee.

Breakfast was tasty and plenty of choices very good. Bed was comfortable. Every evening a tasty buffet for diner for a unexpected low price. Shower with glass curtain prevent flooding the bath room. All in all positive surprise and a good choice.

The staff was very friendly, helpful, service minded and smiley. The breakfast was very good. I LOVED the waffles and pancakes.

I could very clearly hear people talking, playing and laughing in the room next door. Fortunately it didn't last for very long.

Good location in centre of Kalmar. Room and breakfast good.

City view was promised. What we got was a ‘view’ over a flat roof with a heat pump opposite our window. No hotel free parking. Reception staff told us of 4 parking places nearby, of which only 1 was a car park! Not good value for money.

Breakfast was very very good! And the room. Pro tip: take a walk to Svinö nature reserve, there is a good viewpoint near the bridge. And of course the Kalmar castle, it's a SUPER castle!
