The room is modern, but small, good wifi, good breakfast. The hotel is in a good location, quiet street, close to bus and metro, Lidl supermarket, close to downtown. Free coffee and tea for guests at reception.

At breakfast several times dirty glasses and plates were put out among the clean ones, had to be returned for washing up. What I really didn't like, at breakfast the staff use the same hand to pack and push the bin, which they then use to cut the melon with their bare hands, grab the peeled melon, grab the small cookies with their bare hands, and put the cold cuts out after the bin has been packed, this is a big mistake, this needs to change.

Very nice, comfortable hotel with good breakfast. We had two rooms - a single and a double. Both met our expectations, and were well equipped. The single room was quite small, but perfectly adequate for a person travelling alone. Great location just around the corner from a Metro stop and only 3 stops to Gamla Stan.

While the hotel is on a quiet street, during the time we were there, there was some construction going on early in the morning (7AM) on a couple of the mornings. This affected the double room which faced out onto the street - the single room we had was much quieter.

Booking the room and checking in was a breeze. Right away you could help yourself with a cup of hot Swedish coffee. The room was neat and clean, with enough cabinets to store your clothes and belongings. A private bathroom comprising a shower, underfloor heating system and electric radiator. Everyday there was a breakfast available in the dining area. A good choice of the usual morning products (flakes, eggs, bread, vegetables,) which were regularly restocked. The hotel is located near underground station, but, at the same time, it doesn't take more than 20 minutes to get to T-Centralen or Sergels Torg on feet. Most days we walked around Stockholm all day with no need of taxi, etc. More than once we were saved by the branded umbrellas provided near the entrance doors - a hugely appreciated gesture in the rainy Stockholm.

The dining area could get quite busy at around 08:30. In the afternoons and the evenings there were thermoses provided with both hot water and coffee. Sadly, sometimes they were empty. TV in the room was slightly outdated - with no "smart" functions - no way to play any music of your choice.

The location of the hotel was really amazing. It is located in a local, quiet side street, but just around the corner there is a very lively street with so many amenities, restaurants, shops and the metro station. The room was as expected, simple, decent and with every detail I needed and it also allowed me for a very good night rest. The cleanliness was really very good. The breakfast was also very good with different options for every taste and I have to admit that it allowed me to have very good and energetic start for my daily Stockholm city explorations. The price I payed was more than reasonable and I know that I will return to this property during my next visit to Stockholm.

The only deficiency was the configuration of the bathroom. It is quite small and modest, but the main problem was the size of the sink. It is really too small and inconveniently placed, so after every face washing and tooth brushing there was almost a flood from the water that I did not manage to retain within the small sink dimensions.

The hotel is very nice and close to the strict city center. Its only 2 metro stops away, and the station is just around the corner. Takes you about 15 minutes on foot to reach the center. We stayed from December 1-3 and then again from December 5-9 and both rooms we had were pretty good. The first room was a bit smaller but we didn't mind it since we didn't really spend a lot of time in it. The breakfast was very nice and it had something for everyone. The food was fresh and tasty. You can get tea, coffee, juices and water. Coffee and tea are also available in the lobby during the day, which is cool knowing how cold Stockholm can be during the winter. The staff were extremely polite and professional, always ready to help. Sometimes the front desk is unattended, but they have a sister hotel just across the street so its really easy to reach the staff if you need them. One night the elevator refused to work and we went to the sister hotel just to inform the staff in case there's somebody who really needs it, and the guy reacted immediately and rushed back to Rex hotel with us! Really wasn't expecting that. They have maps of the city in the lobby which you can take and even some umbrellas if its raining that you can use! Overall its a very nice hotel and we'd definitely stay there again once we come back to Stockholm. Worth the money.

The location was excellent, just round the corner from the Radmansgatan T-bana, approximately 10 mins walk from Central Station. I had a single room on the 3rd floor which was comfortable and had everything needed for a 4 night stay, with probably the best lighting of any hotel room I’ve ever stayed in. It looked out over an internal courtyard and was very quiet. There was a good range of food at breakfast.

Unfortunately the two ladies looking after breakfast were not very interested in clearing the tables, which meant that people were unsure whether tables were available or not and had to eat with used plates, glasses, cups etc on the table. I had breakfast fairly early each day, and it was quite noticeable then, and presumably got worse as the breakfast room got busier later in the mornings. Also there was no toaster.

The hotel is in a wonderful location - right next to a metro station which is only 2 stops from the main train station and 3 stops from the city center. It was a perfect starting point for our sightseeing trip. The staff is very nice.

We had little privacy unless we pulled close the heavy curtains, which meant we had to turn on the lights. We would have liked to move around more freely in our room while still getting sunlight, so it would have been nice to have double curtains, the heavy ones and some light ones just for privacy.

I had a single room, basic but comfortable and clean. The location is not very close to the old center but very close to a big street (Sveavagen) that has a lot of restaurants and convenient stores, very close to the pedestrian shopping street (Drottninggatan) and to the Red Hop in/off bus stop. Breakfast was very good. The hotel has its charm since it was converted from an old building.

The pillows were lumpy and uncomfortable. Furniture (armchair and chairs in the breakfast room) could be cleaner. The TV channel choices were very poor.

Excellent staff were extremely helpful in finding me an alternate room. One young woman was very articulate and a great spokesperson for the hotel. They upgraded me to a stylish and comfortable room.

They should really put a disclaimer in the single room description that you might get the courtyard. It is the only room that is not secured inside a building. Apparently some people like it, but I felt exposed. While most of the room photos match the actual rooms, the single/courtyard room is more run down than pictured. They should manage this room like opera rush tickets.

We had a great stay here! The hotel is located just 2 metro stops from the city center ( 3min walk from the hotel to the metro station ) in a nice and quiet neighborhood but close to everything you need while visiting. The old hotel building is nicely refurbished and modernly redesigned, rooms are not very big but comfortable and cozy. The breakfast has enough options of fresh food every morning and like in most of the small boutique hotels it has a personal touch. Lastly, the staff is well trained, professional, kind and very helpful. Most of all the lovely receptionist - Julia. Every hotel should have a Julia to welcome guests with genuine kindness and a radiant smile :) Thanks for everything, we will stay here again!

Everything was good.
