located close to shops and the University, big room and bed, bathroom floor has heating, generous buffet breakfast, nice staff

not sure why there are no doors between the lounge and the bedroom. although it’s was not an issue at all

I had booked for myself and seven colleagues to stay here as we were attending a conference in Uppsala. This hotel was by far the most reasonable when we were looking at options. The rooms were clean and beds were comfy. I appreciated the eco aspect and not getting new towels/bedding etc every day. The breakfast was varied and really tasty - and there was never a shortage of food. We loved having the outdoor courtyard space to have breakfast in and the communal space downstairs was inviting and spacious. We were able to access a laundry facility and an ironing room which was really useful. Staff were super approachable and helpful at all times. Highly recommend staying here!

We were there in June and it was unusually warm (28'C). We were on the top floor and the rooms got quite warm and there was no air conditioning. However, this didn't really detract from our stay.

The staff of the hotel was really nice and helpful with everything. I was worried that the bed will be too soft but was surprisingly hard and comfy. I had no issue with the noise coming from the bar downstairs but I can imagine that people staying closer to the staircase might have this issue. The breakfast was really tasty, plenty of choices - the selection was exactly the same every day which can be a little dull after couple of days but all in all, very nice breakfast service. It was nice to be able to sit outside in the yard during the warmer days but the common areas inside of the hotel are just as nice.

the rooms could use a little bit of renovation after years of use. My room was supposed to be of the bigger ones and I cannot imagine living there with another person for more than 2 nights. The bathroom is extremely small - I'm a tiny person and even I had problems with the shower. Also, water is everywhere after the shower and does not dry for a veeeeeeery long time so going to the toilet becomes a bit more difficult. A proper ventilation should be installed in the bathrooms to avoid this.

Breakfast was very good, variety and taste wise. Lovely outdoor eating area.

No place to really sit in room and not enough place in room itself for placing open valise or other objects except on green cushion or on bed or on floor. There was definitely enough room for a small chair and narrow desk in front of the bed or in the corner, even though room was small. There should also be a border piece of metal to block water from getting all over the floor when taking a shower; and shower curtain is very unhygienic and was rather old and did not appear clean. Is it being disinfected daily and changed regularly? From the looks of mine it didn’t appear to be.

The hotel lives up to its name, with lots of plants and plant themes everywhere. The room was maybe lacking some stuff like a teapot, but the bed was enormous (it would have fit 3 people, easily) and very comfortable. The bathroom was small but clean and nice too. The breakfast, which was free within the price of my room, was simply fantastic - one of the best, fluffiest pancakes I have eaten. The staff was extremely nice and helpful too.

Bathroom was small, so after a shower (which is only separated by a curtain), water was everywhere. That was a minor problem for me, though.

Got everything I paid for, convenient location and the staff were always happy and provided exceptional service. The inclusive breakfast was good quality and it was always a nice atmosphere at the bar on the evenings. Bathroom facilities were great, underfloor heating in the bathroom was a nice touch (especially considering the bathroom is a wet-room - you shower stood on the floor). The TV was a smart TV so YouTube and things were accessible - if you had saved movies this could be linked up.

Only to nit-pick as everything was great. The hotel states that it closes its main doors at 11pm-6am and that a number had to be rang so that we could gain access. I would have preferred a key card entry to the hotel with easier access 24 hours for residents. The room was on the small side - perfect for me as I travelled alone, however for a couple this may become a bit crowded if staying for longer than a week. Purchase your own toilet roll if you don't like to use very thin paper

The staff were very kind and let me have breakfast after the 10 am deadline which was very considerate.

My only issue was when I arrived to check in, the doors were locked, and there was a sign saying to call this number if you are trying to get in. the message was in English, but when I called, it went to voice mail that was in Swedish, and I didn't understand what was being said. I waited about 10mins outside, unsure what to do until someone from inside saw me and let me in. They were very kind and helped me check-in. As a suggestion, could the voice message be in English and Swedish, so people like me who don't know Swedish will understand what is being said?

Hotel was situated a bit outside the city center, but the pedestrian street started behind the corner and there were nice restaurants etc. only in 5 minutes walk. Room was nice and the view to the garden was good. It was also silent, as there were not any street behind the window. Breakfast was quite typical Scandinavian breakfast with everything needed.

Walking distance from the railway station with luggage was a bit long (but ok, if you walk via pedestrian street). Bathroom was quite old but everything worked there well.

A surprisingly large complex just a few steps from Uppsalas (walkable) center. The rooms are small and rather simple (it's a converted dorm) but nicely decorated, very clean and have a view of the adjoining Lenné park. The common areas are new and fresh, there is a secure luggage storage and the team is kind and wonderful. The amazing breakfast completed a very nice stay. Easy bus ride from the train station (2 stops, every 4-6 minutes).

I was very happy. The bed might be a little soft for some, but I am used to very hard mattresses and I did fine.

Everything. Our room was charming and comfortable with a great bathroom which had a very welcome BATH and good quality soap, shampoo and hand wash, so essential for travellers. We had a lovely view over trees and the botanical garden, so it was quiet. Breakfast was an extensive buffet with everything one could wish for, although some things ran out on the busy Sunday morning time. The hotel is well-placed near the centre of the city, only a 15-min walk to the station/bus station from where onward or local travel is easy.
