Breakfast selection was excellent. Range from breads, cold cuts, yoghurys etc and hot breakfast. In each 'section' there was a good choice. Our American family were very impressed.

The ventilation system did struggle to keep the room cool. Apparently the design was innovative.

We arrived on Sunday afternoon and the restaurant was closed , no food, no coffee…

The breakfast buffet was amazing, huge selection of delicious food. The breakfast is open from 7-11 so perfect for people who like to sleep in. The hotel staff were all very nice and polite. We were staying there with a 18 month old and a 4 year old. The hotel was clean and the rooms were cleaned every day. The bathroom was spacious with a bathtub. The hotel is right next to the train station - it took about 3 minutes to walk from there. It took about 10 minutes to walk to the center of Uppsala. Next to the hotel was Coop so you could buy some food easily.

The room was a bit tight for us. The crib was nice but the extra bed was a pull out sofa and it was horrible to sleep on - you could feel every spring under the mattress. When the extra bed is pulled out there is pretty much no room left. We went through our towels and we didn´t always get new towels when they cleaned. The room had no window you could open and during our last night it got very hot inside the room like the AC was off.

great location close to public transport and downtown. The view from the balkony was very nice. Rental bikes were provided by the hotel. Nice staff always ready to help except the "greeter" of the breakfast guests who seemed to really not care about guests having a good time, despite every one else being helpful and kind and extensive breakfast.

"trendy" room layout with no privacy in the toilet. Strangely small wardrobe with no space for clothes. Rental bikes have to be returned by 9 pm. When the breakfast area was crowded (but not completely full) we were strongly "suggested" to take our coffee outside.

Breakfast was excellent with great selection of quality options. Parking was convenient. Room was clean and fresh. Location was perfect.

THe bathroom solution was not very functional. Having a common door that could only cover the shower OR the toilet might work for single occupancy but not for a couple. Secondly the door provided limited coverage to prevent water getting all over the floor outside the shower, and even into the toilet area. Thirdly the location of the washbasin made shaving/washing difficult.

Not first time in this hotel....generally speaking happy with the hotel and members of staff but also more realizing how much functional hotel Radisson Blue is. The volume of rooms and clients certainly has affect on quality of service. Beautifull example over-crowded eating area during breakfast leaving minimum space between tables creating less comfot for guests and manipulation space for members of staff working there. Rooms having fatal noise insulation hearing neighbours next and above. Also having room infront of elevator every passing by really noticed, Doors closing with typical "boom". But as mentioned earlier, generally speaking good hotel which could be better (considering the price level) and also knowing somewhere else it works - and manytimes even within the same "family" (as example Hotel Radisson Red Okern in Oslo.

- Amazing breakfast buffet! Even with Swedish standards. This was the most extensive breakfast buffet I've ever seen in a hotel - They rent bikes for cheap (~60 SEK for half day, 120SEK for full day) - Staff were friendly and helped us with our inquiries. We changed our room to one with a queen bed, and they helped us exploring our options for bike day trips - Location is just beside transport to/from airport/Stockholm. And it is quiet. You don't hear the trains. - Great view from the room

- The room is relatively small. e.g. no closet space. But me and my girlfriend didn't mind. - They gave us a room with 2 twin beds instead of a queen first. But they did change our room when we asked. - Of the 3 i bikes they had, only 1 had a ring, none had lights. Still very good bikes.

The kitchen makes some of the best scrambled eggs I have ever had in a hotel! The rooms facing Uppsala have a fantastic view. Feels very clean and safe. Great bed and pillows. Very friendly helpful staff. Central location next to the central station. Very nice dining area and lobby. Super lovely shrimp sandwich for dinner.

The plates for dinner are a bit too complex and most are based on meat. The dining experience would probably appeal to more people if they added some lighter dishes such as a nice warm vegetable Soup, a Caesar salad, and maybe a Pie served with salad.

This wonderful hotel is located in a central position in Uppsala close to trains, buses, shops, and city sights. The team are very friendly and kind throughout the hotel. Their breakfasts are legendary and truly amazing. We were staying at the Radisson Blu to visit our Swedish family locally, and the staff welcomed them to visit us with open arms. They proved that they are indeed a family hotel. Everything was really great and we will return to that hotel soon. it suits our purposes practically but it is also a relaxing place to stay.

Nothing at all

The breakfast was maybe the best we had encountered ever. There was everything there. Also, the person who had designed the breakfast area had done a fantastic job! Absolutely beautiful. The room was very nice and the bed super!

- We booked a room with three beds. Unfortunately one person couldn't come with us. Still, it was fortunate because the room was too little for an extra bed. - Parking should have been better arranged. We were offered parking for 160:- but found parking outside over night for 60:-, which we should have been informed about. - This is nothing we disliked! Just a suggestion: It would be good with a mini-bar in the room and a simple micro.
