Charming, old style building - really liked the style. The room was good sized - we took one with a private bathroom. Overall a convincing package for one night. The location of the hotel was good, in reasonable walking distance to the center. There was a well equipped common kitchen area with a nice seating area in the building. We took the breakfast option - which was served in a partner hotel nearby. With good weather, the 3 minutes walk was no issue. The breakfast was fairly good - a really wide offer with lots of options. Overall very fair value for money.

Due to the age the building is not so sound proof. We had a calm night - but you hear what's ongoing outside your room. And even if no issue for us as we had good weather during our stay, it could be unpleasant to walk the 500 meters with poor weather to the nearby hotel where breakfast was served.

The facility provides complete privacy and freedom similar to an apartment that's essential for a traveler whose primary goal is attending an official event. The room is rather small but it has all the amenities including heating and an attached bathroom. The staff of Hotel Centralstation (who manages this facility) is quite helpful and keeps the place very tidy and clean. The place is located not very far from the city center but in a very quiet, peaceful neighbourhood. Especially if you are in Uppsala for a short stay to take part in an Uppsala university function, this is an ideal place to stay. The 100+years old facility has got the classic vibe.

The bathroom could have been a little larger but can manage.

I really liked how adorable the hotel was. My single room was small, but due to high ceiling it did not feel small. The atmosphere was very cozy and charming. Everything was clean and the staff were very polite and friendly. All staff spoke excellent English. The WiFi was good, I had a video call without any problems. The bed was soft. I really liked that they had a kitchen. I also liked that we were allowed to check in earlier. Hotel is also 5 minutes away from the central shopping areas and 10-20 minutes away from the university, so one can walk everywhere.

I did not like that the breakfast was at the "sister" hotel 5 minutes away. We had to go to meetings every day anyway, so it was not a huge problem, but came as a surprise. I think it would be better if the hotel would explain the situation better in their profile. It was very easy to hear the neighbors through the walls, but mine were rather quiet in the evenings, so it did not cause any problems.

The room was larger than we had expected. We paid a little bit extra for a private shower, which was very welcome after 2 days of travelling. The breakfast options were definitely sufficiently varied and tasty. Nothing fancy, but everything we needed was present.

The check-in codes were sent pretty late which caused us to miss the message due to not having an internet connection outside of public places. Aside from that, the room wasn't very warm even though the radiator was on, but it didn't stop us from having a decent night's sleep.

This was my second stay in this hotel, and somehow I liked it better than the first time. The room was very clean. I liked the interior and the possibility to work at a small table in the corner. I also liked the coffee machine in the kitchen on the first floor.

Although I had booked the hotel, there was no room service and also a sign “please tidy up the room” was missing. It would be great to have breakfast here instead of the other hotel opposite the central station.

Nice place to stay close to train station and city senter. Room was more spacious than expected, very clean and nice. Nice ambience and spacious shared kitchen.

The code I got sent for opening the key box was wrong. There could be more lights in the room (sitting/reading light next to chair). A lot of disposable plastic used at breakfast. Not the best breakfast I had in Uppsala.

The location is in a quiet, pleasant part of Uppsala about ten minutes by foot from UppsalaC. My room was small, but very comfortable and clean. Breakfast is served at their sister property, but it was easy to find and there was a good selection. Although I did not have much interaction with the staff, they were kind and helpful when I did.

This was entirely my fault but it's something that is worth noting. The bathroom doesn't have very good ventilation, so keep the door and window open to ensure proper ventilation.

Buffet breakfast was excellent. Te staff was lovely and the hotel was very close to all the place we wanted to visit.

Our room was in a different building than the breakfast so it was a bit of a walk to get there.

It was super easy to get into our room with the given codes, etc. Breakfast is about a 5 minute walk and the food was good and staff was friendly and helpful. This is a really good deal for the price you pay.

Better bed pillows!

Room was big enough for us (3 people) and bunkbad was placed really well. It was nice to have bathroom in the room as well as high cellings and classical old windows. Bed and bedding was simple, but very comfortable and we enjoyed it more then some pricy options in Stockholm.

The building itself is beautiful, but everything around it is rather new, ca 70s-80s. Courtyard is bordering by ca 6-7 floors building, not that cozy unfortunately.
