Room from second day was fine (other than the Bad Ragaz church bells and clock). The hotel has been renovated and is extremely clean (but strange architect related quirks, see below). Location is in the middle of the village. Good breakfast. Hotel staff are extremely helpful and obliging.

We had to move from our initial room because of noise from the road (on the road side, traffic is not so heavy but regular) compounded by the need to open the windows to reduce the heat in the room. As stated, the hotel has been beautifully renovated but the architect made no provision for central heating/cooling other than a column fan. Given the new normal with hot summers as in Switzerland, this may prove problematic in the future as it did for us on this visit. Incidentally, Bad Ragaz church clock chimes every 15min over 24hours!! And the bells start calling the faithful at 0600!!

I am absolutely amazing by this Hotel management! The hotel is elegant and luxurious, beautiful modern decorated room with jacuzzi in each room .We had a kid 1,5 years and they prepared toys in our room that were appropriate for his age, Food from the morning buffet was excellent, great variety “ you name it they had it” , Waiters from Restaurant/ Buffet were very attentive and quick!Also reception was very friendly and helpful ( we had a particular request and they did above and beyond to fulfill our request) They are close to Thermal Tamina( 4 min walk) and close to all restaurants! I would like to thank Sorell Hotel to make our stay so cozy ! Highly recommend this place!

good hotel, well maintained

staff was not well informed about the tamina therme - didn't know to tell us that kids under 3yo are forbidden to enter - told us we get a huge discount as hotel guests but 1. didn't tell us we need to pay at the hotel before leaving to the thermal pools; 2. the discount was very negligible (in the weekend) and not as they said. in the end - we traveled with a 2yo kid and one of us had to wait outside with the baby. We drove back to the hotel to buy the discounted tickets, but it wasn't worth jt as I explained

Breakfast was very nice, staff was friendly and helpful.

Beds did not seem up to a 4-star standard. Too soft and not supportive. The rooms seemed overpriced for what you got.

We were very glad to stay at the hotel for 7 days. The hotel is located in the center of Bad Ragaz. Everything is very close. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. The dishes at the hotel’s restaurant were very tasty so we visited the restaurant several times during our stay. Our room was very spacious and modern with a cozy design and a corner with toys for a child, which was a great bonus for our stay. There are several windows in the room with a beautiful view on the mountains. We would definitely like to visit the hotel again in the future.

We liked everything

the hotel is well situated in the city center. We had a quiet room in the back, with a lot of space and a big bathroom. The staff is very nice and professionnal, the breakfast generous. Very good hotel and stay, we will come back!

the restaurant and bar are closed two days a week and if you are staying at the hotel during this time, you have to go out for drinks and to eat. There are plenty of possibilities around but it is always nice to be able to eat or to have a last drink at the hotel.

the bedside lamps are too bright and not energy efficient. they are too bright by the bedside and they also generate too heat. led light bulb could be a good consideration. need some kind of holder to assist getting off the bathtub especially the tub surface is slipper.

I liked the staff they have been so nice and welcoming. The cleanness and the coziness of the place. The breakfast was excellent and of quality in spite lot limited choices.

Absence of flexibility in extending the check out time. Although it is understandable when there is a high demand on the hotel.

Great Location, very nice breakfast, very clean and comfortable room , with all amenities , helpful and nice staff.

Unfortunately the restaurant and bar was closed and I did not know this when I booked. I would expect to have atleast a lounge where coffee or tea were served .

Friendly staff, beautiful room (junior suite), wonderful menu at the restaurant, everything ready to go to the thermal centre (towels, badges, etc.)

Toilet paper very thin, no bath foam product (reception explained the hotel was waiting for delivery), when all windows closed there might be a bit of "humidity smell"... minor details
