very friendly staff, very helpful; nice and good restaurant for dinner; it's an old house but carefully renovated with a lot of charme, I really like that. I had to get up and leave very early, so the staff showed me around to get breakfast on my own; very nice and absolutely fine.

the location is very close to at least one church with bells announcing every quarter hour; what's disturbing: there's another bell somewhere doing the very same but is 5 minutes off time; gives a rather odd rythm! makes an easy early morning leave, unfortunately. It was fine for me, as I intended ... however people expecting to sleep in might see it different

Fantastic room! In fact, my partner went down to the reception and said there must have been some mistake - the room was FANTASTIC, and the price was low! The hotel is situated right in the heart of the village, yet it is a very quiet location. The hotel is a building dating back to the 1500's, and the rooms show that clearly, with beams and other old features (see my pics). The staff were friendly, and the breakfast delicious, with many local treats.

Dinner was a bit shaky, though we particularly liked the rösti. Beromünster itself is very small, so there is not so much to do there. It is however a good place for visiting the countryside, like the bird reserve and the bird research centre (recommended!). We went by bus from Luzern and then took another bus after a two-night stay to some town from where we went to Zurich.

- cleanliness, - calm and quiet despite the frequent bells from the church next door - good wi-fi - good location, far away from noise of city with own parking - good isolation of noise, especially at the windows - appreciated that no TV in the room which was very ok for me - nice pension, good to take lunch or dinner as well

Exceptional service. We visited Hotel Hirschen in the summer and they purchased a fan for the room upon our request, they really went above and beyond to meet our needs and I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to visit Lucerne but remain outside the city hustle and bustle. Great location with private parking and restaurant on side.

Nice location. Clean and quiet room. A little bit cold for the season.

I paid online for a three singles bed room, 130.– (for a maximum of three guests). On place, I was asked to pay 20.– more. Surprised. Not really clear. "1 Budget room + 2 Children CHF 150.00 As you travel with 2 children, you have to pay the full room price. One child stays for free."

A perfect place to stay. Boutique style. Clean and comfortable. Safe. Staff / owner are friendly, helpful and quick to respond. Would stay here again.

Stay for dinner! The food is amazing. Great parking. Beautiful village. Clean room. Comfortable beds. The proprietors are very nice, and made us feel at home.

Shower room a bit cramped

The ceiling had some hundreds of years old patterned paintings on thick beams, gave whole room really pretty and traditional aesthetic. Denny our host was really nice!

A small refrigerator would have made stay better.

Great location. Excellent accommodation. The supper we had at the tables outside was really outstanding. The staff were welcoming and helpful.
