What an amazing hotel, a little outside of the town, quiet but well placed for the public transport, has a great atmosphere. The room was clean, modern and perfect, great service from check in to check out and the buffet breakfast was to die for, so much choice. Final thought, the hotel staff where extremely helpful and when we visit Zurich again this hotel will top the list of a place to stay, as long as the spa is open.

We stayed in a suite, it was amazing, so much space, but the controls for the lighting is far too complicated, plus I’m sure the balcony metal work would be better replaced with ceiling to floor glass to take in that wonderful view. We stayed the weekend of the 22nd July, the Spa and rooftop pool was closed, we would have used them both if available and they accompany the hotel perfectly.

We loved our experience at this hotel. We stayed here for 1 night after we flew in on an overnight flight from the US. My friend and I arrived on different flights, so the spa was wonderful to hang out in while I waited for her and our room to be ready. The infinity pool overlooking the city at the spa was the best view we had of the city our whole trip! Also, the food in the spa was surprisingly reasonable cost-wise. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful and provided a personalized experience. We had drinks and dessert in the restaurant surrounded by all the books and it was a great evening. We loved our time at this hotel and would return in a heartbeat.

The one draw back was the hotel is a little further away from the city center and train station, which comes with the territory to have the great city views at the spa. It was an 8 minute walk to the nearest public transit train station and then 2 stops to downtown, so all in all not a bad location.

Room was beautifully set up and spotless, with a comfortable mattress and great pillows. Breakfast was very tasty although it would have been helpful to know one could ask for eggs (rather than relying on someone to mention it). Very convenient to be able to access the spa directly.

Using the room towel, bathroom and slippers for the spa meant they were still soaked the next morning, only worked out because I was traveling alone so the room had an extra set. Odd for a hotel of this caliber (and price) to have an 11am checkout which made the morning feel rushed (particularly as breakfast went until noon). Ultimately while very comfortable, not sure the stay was worth quite the amount paid.

breakfast was nice, not special but all fresh. Eggs to order. Great SPA with 9 "stations", different temperatures, nice bistro inside. Infinitiy pool with warm water on the roof with view of Zurich, very special. Large, modern rooms. Free minibar.

A bit far from city center (15 min walk from main railway station). Organization of breakfast is a bit slow. You need to order the hot beverage you like. Selection of strange juices (grapefruit with ginger etc.). Limited selection of cheeses.

I felt really welcome on arrival and soon relaxed after our journey with arrival drinking in the lobby. I also felt relaxed by the decor and the friendly front of house staff.

I felt like it was in an industrial part of the city and albeit only approx 25 minute walk into the centre then I felt was not appropriate for a one night leisure stay. Also, after spending time in the baths it would have been nice to have dinner at the hotel but due to our time there it was past 21:00 when leaving the baths and a quick change, Uber to the Old Town nearly left us hungry without dinner as the restaurants shut at 22:00 and didn’t want to accept us but we were fortunate in the end did get food.

Beautiful hotel in a great location, staff extremely friendly with nothing too much trouble. It was spotlessly clean and had a lovely calming atmosphere. Great choices at the continental breakfast. The location was perfect with in good walking distance of the city, old Zurich and the fantastic lake. Would definitely recommend and would not hesitate to stay there again.

There was nothing to not like about this hotel.

Pros: 1. a beautiful hotel with interesting and original decor creating a warm, pleasant environment in which to be 2. Comfortable beds, peaceful solitude 3. Modern room with modern accoutrements 4. Very, very delicious wine (at least, the Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir) 5. A varied breakfast buffet, as delicious as it looks 6. Classy, kind staff who actually listened when i complained and refunded me 100 Swiss Franks for the "second person charge" 7. Very delicious cheese and bread 8. The Spa upstairs!

Cons: 1. I did not like that within 5 minutes of walking through the rotating door, i was welcomed with the information that i was going to spend 200 swiss franks more than I'd expected due to charges that should have been clearly stated on booking.com i.e. Car parking charge is 35 swiss franks per night, spa is 30 Swiss franks per person for a 24 hour pass, inviting your paramour to stay incurs a 100 Swiss franks "second person charge" 2. My paramour was promised a breakfast sandwich but they forgot 3. At breakfast, we asked for omelette and soft - boiled egg, but they forgot 4. The Spa is a completely separate company called Hürlimannbad & Spa Zürich. Had i known this, i would not have booked the hotel. I'd have just booked the Spa.

The hotel is new and very modern. The lobby is impressive and the bar & restaurant very welcoming. The infinity pool on the roof is very very nice, although can get pretty crowded since it's not a private pool but shared with the Hurlimann Baths. It also requires payment to enter (30 CHF for 24h per person) but this gives you access to the whole of Hurlimann Baths, which are nice. Breakfast is really nice and the fact that the hotel has a parking is a big plus, especially in Zurich

The AC in the rooms is centrally controlled so turning the buttons in the room doesn't do anything. The bathroom is open on the room, which I personally don't like.

Excellent place. Very quiet. Not crowded. Room was spacious and comfortable. Bathroom was great, although the water could be stronger. I loved how no matter where you are in the room, you can still view the tv. Bathrobe & slippers provided.

Ac is not good, not strong enough to combat the swiss heat. The hotel is a bit far from the main attractions/shops. A 10-12 mins walk to reach the tram & then you can get to the city.

everything. originality (a repurposed distillery), location (quiet location at the top of a hill), design (not sure who designed it, but it’s straight out of an architectural design magazine), amenities and (most of all) the staff. we stayed at the family suite, which was so spacious and tastefully-designed. our two toddlers loved it. amazing amazing staff

nothing. when I found out [last minute] about a virtual business meeting that I needed to attend, the hotel manager sprung into action and cleared the ballroom for me. the meeting ended up taking 2 hours, in which they provided me with refreshments and solitude (without me asking)
