- amazing view of the city from the double bed! 10th floor - double bed in 10 bed dorm was so comfy with such comfy bedding - great location centrally, near train station, right by metro on red line, really central and easy to get around - free juice in the hostel! - nice touches in the bathroom including toiletries and hair bands and cotton pads - best hostel that we have stayed in in Taiwan! - lockers in the dorm for valuables - enough space in the dorm (we only had 1 other person in there in the 10 bed dorm in March)

- only allow you to store bags for a certain time and don’t let you use the facilities (toilet etc) after 4pm after checkout - they asked us to leave when going to get our bags that were in storage. (They tell you this is their policy upon checkin so was not a surprise to us but just to be aware)

Very clean hostel in a great location in Kaohsiung. Close to the metro (exit 4) and close to a lot of cute bars and coffee shops. The rooms are big and have a fantastic view of the city. Price is fair!

The hostel isn't huge, but still quite a lot of beds. Like with other bigger hostels there is little to no social interaction with other travellers. Asian/local tourists tend to stick together, so you have to be lucky to meet other like minded travellers to hang out with. I didn't like the facts that the toilet and showers are on the other side of the hostel. You have to walk through the conmon room to get there, which is kinda annoying in the middle of the night. Also, it was a bit hard to find the hostel. I did get a message through Booking with a link to get some directions, but the link didn't work so I had to find the entrance myself. Tip: it's on the side of the building, floor number 10.

The location was fabulous! It was located right next to the Metro station, and made for easy transfer. Lots of surrounding breakfast/lunch places too! The room was great! Big bed, comfortable sheets, great view from the bed. Love the locker safes, and the slippers they made everyone wear - I love the idea, instead of having everybody trudging around in a mixed shared bedroom with questionable shoes! Clean and spacious shared toilets/bathrooms too! Free juice dispenser at the lobby too, so we saved a little on sweet drinks when we were craving something juicy and sweet and had already gotten tired with boba (gasp the blasphemy). There were guava tea (my favourite!), apple cider (my partner couldn't get enough of that) and mixed fruit tea. The machine only operates from 7.30am till 10.30pm, but that's plenty of time. :D Huge shared fridge too, with provided sticky labels and pens :D

We had the double-bed in a mixed room - was slightly stuffy, but that was probably because someone adjusted the air-conditioner settings in the night. The couple in the next bed also had their phones on loud vibrations - the entire night; it was bearable, but slightly annoying.

We liked our stay in PaperPlane. The building is right next to the subway station and the hostel is located on the 10th floor and has an amazing view over the city. There is a free drinks machine with very nice choice of drinks (very refreshing). The dorm was spacious and clean. Our bed was also right next to the window and we had an amazing morning/night city view.

Toilets/showers are located in the common area, so you need to walk through the whole area while people are working or eating there. The female shower/toilet area was not very clean.

Comfy bed (I had the double one), with a nice view over the city. The place is clean, quiet enough, lovely staff, and WiFi was strong (and with good signal in both rooms and lobby). Good value for money and good location (literally a minute away from MRT exit, with PX mart and 7-Eleven less than 5 min away)

Nothing much

The location is perfect, there's a night market nearby too, great food shops around, there's even a grocery shop beside and you can cook at the hostel too. The bed is not the best but quite comfortable. The dorm room and the common area are clean and spacious.

The accessibility of the dorm room electrical card is not well function sometimes, I heard a few travellers met this problem too, and luckily I got help from others. Also, you have to go through the common area to the bathroom and showers.

Super plus point goes to the accessible and convenient location, just a couple of mina walk directly from Houyi station exit 4. Clean, comfortable, equipped with amenities. Mini kitchen has a free drinks (juices) dispenser which is nice.

Staff service can be improved a little as they seem a little hostile :-)

Been here years ago and everything is pretty much the same just not as new. The afternoon female staff sounds friendlier than the morning's. Liked the bidets in the restrooms.

The shower temperature is still hard to control as before.

The bed was very comfortable with clean bedsheets. there was also a charging port available on each bed. the large window in the room to see the night lights was beautiful.

Getting to the bathroom. I hope I misunderstood but it seemed I would have to exit the main door then walk across near the lounge area to get to the bathroom. I did not end up staying the night because I went out with friends.
