The room was spacious, temperature was comfortable and reception staff were very helpful. The bus stop outside the hotel is only about 2min walk away and it connects to most of the major attractions. There is also a stop that services a few of the Taiwan Tourist Shuttle Bus numbers, so connecting from the hotel to other major locations like Sun Moon Lake, Taipei, Taichung HSR is convenient.

Some breakfast items were cold or unevenly heated. The location is within walking distance of the station but it does take about 10min to walk there. If you’re lugging heavy luggage, the terrain is flat enough for it to be doable, but some may find it tiring.

Room was spacious and clean. Comfortable bed and a small shopping mall was next to it so that was good. Bathroom was good and though not big but good enough. Breakfast was good. Plenty of choices.

The place where breakfast was held was very dirty. The floor was oily and dirty was seen everywhere so it was not a nice experience. Very crowded so it was noisy and because the place is small, people were really snatching food off the counter. Very unpleasant.

Breakfast is pretty good, many variations, can be treated as a brunch. Close the old town Taichung, near Taichung park, near train station. Room is the right size for two and clean. Front desk, breakfast receptioner, chef, waiter, even cleaning staff are all nice and smile.

Only a little pricey compared with other hotels around the same area. Maybe it is the price you pay for the above good comments. :-)

I did not have the Breakfast, the room was a little far from the elevator, the room was very nice. I will stay there again when traveling to Taichung.

I tried to use my IHG reward point (which are over 300,000 points) and the desk person said I needed my account number. I did not know my account number so the room charge was to My IHG credit card which is okay the next time I will have my IHG account number.

The location is fantastic because you can take the bus 302 from Taichung airport straight to the last station (about 75mins) OR you can walk from Taichung station which is around 10-15mins walk. Staff were super nice and eager to help

Hotel room sound proof wasn’t really well and you can hear someone talking outside the open area

A HOTEL OF GOOD C/P VALUE, AFFORDABLE RATE WITH ABOVE-AVERAGED QUALITY OF ROOM AND SERVICE. THOUGH THE FREE BREAKFAST IS QUITE SIMPLE, YOUR APETISE STILL CAN BE SATISFIED.

THE BED WAS NOT THAT COMFORTABLE. YOU DON'T HAVE CITY VIEW FROM YOUR ROOM.

there was a fire drill when we checked in.. we were dying to get to the rooms but had no choice but to wait for 30mins

Room was spacious with a comfortable bed. Clean room with a very good shower. Easy access to the markets and bus lines.

Breakfast room was being refurbished during my stay which was disappointing.

Room is clean. Hotel was very quite. It was nice to see Taichung park on window in my room.

Breakfast selection did not reach my expectation.

Room size was OK. Bed was comfy. Shower water strength was good and strong too :)

Perhaps the toilet could have a separate door with the bath area.
