I asked for a river-view room on a high floor. The view is great! The high-tech room is comfortable and clean. The check-in and check-out were efficient.

Although the location is near popular destinations such as the Taipei Railway Station and Ximendin, it is in between so takes time to walk to these spots. Although the check-in and check-out are pretty high-tech, they can be a bit confusing for foreigners.

Nice room with an iPad to control lights, blinds and watch shows. Great view of the city and river! The lobby was a bit cramped but it had a nice atmosphere and smell. I love the swing at the front! All of the staff were friendly. The bar was very nice too! The closest 7/11 is hello kitty themed. Good value for money!!!!

Location is a bit out of the way - a little over 10 min walk to the station. It was quite hot so felt like it was a longer walk than it is in reality. :( The elevators took quite a bit of time as there were only two available for many floors. My room I couldn’t find the light switch for the bathroom, aside from the iPad control. So I had trouble going to the bathroom at night.

We liked everything about this hotel - it was extremely comfortable for an extended stay. The breakfast is very good and has lots of options.

The room is compact so you need to be neat. The only thing I would suggest is that they install a couple more hooks to hang things.

I like the location. Walking distance from taipei main station and its a laid-back and quite place to stay. super love the view 😍

I suggest to add drainage on the part where the toilet bowl is located. And add water kettle to the room incase the occupant needs hot water and doesnt want to leave the room.

The citizenM really exceeded my expectation. It's located between the Main Train Station and a good shopping district, so no matter where you wanna go - in just 5min you've reached a Train Station or a great area for shopping and food. The staff was exceptional heartfelt and friendly, from "welcome" to "goodbye". They always help you out with every question or problem and are also often up for a chat! The living room area is great, you can get food or heat up food or whatever you wanna do. Ordering food to the hotel is also no problem. And the cleaning staff must have been ninjas, because no matter how short I was out - my room was always instantly clean when I returned and my little fridge always got refilled with water. The rooms itself were comfy, you can adjust everything you want by tablet. Also connection your phone to the Tv was no problem (for watching Netflix, etc). WLAN was also great and always worked. Really everything was perfect!

Simple check in and check out process. The hotel is simple but well designed. Like the big window in the room and the simplicity of the design. Common area is quiet and beautiful too.

The room is not as clean as it supposed to be, there are stains in the toilet and shower. The room is smaller than the normal size of other similar hotel in the town (but this is standard across CitizenM hotels). They do not provide mouthwash and body lotion and "Kim" kept asking me to go to get themselves from the drugstore nearby in a passive aggressive way. "Kim" also refused to send bottled water to my room despite the night before another operator provided this service. Different service standard is below my expectation.

This was the best hotel I could have picked. It started off at check in with exceptional service from the woman at the front desk. She was super nice and made sure we had everything we needed. At first, I didn't really want to stay here because I feel that the room would be too small. But when I got there, the room was excellent. They got it right with everything down to the smallest detail to make the room feel extremely comfortable. The bed was amazing, the river and city view was so beautiful. I also love the technology of the place. It makes everything feel easy and smooth. Usually at other hotels, there is a problem where the ac has a limit of how cold the room can get, but that is not a problem here at all, so I was most relieved by that.

I have no complaints about this place. Everything was perfect.

I stayed in the hotel during my business trip in Taipei. Check-in and check-out process was smooth and convenient. The staff of the hotel was super nice a helpful. They helped with any question that I had. As it was a business trip, I need to mention that hotel’s WiFi was pretty good and allowed me to work, when it was necessary. Room was clean, spacious, water was provided daily. I missed cattle and tea/coffee in the room, but it wasn’t critical. I really enjoyed managing the room from iPad. Breakfast was simple, but good.

Things were not super critical for me, but was a little bit annoying and disappointing. Dry mode of air conditioner would be really helpful. And there was no additional ventilation in the bathroom. So I you would be as unlucky as me and face the rain, be ready that you clothes will dry for several days in the room And I used iron, but it was super weak - took an eternity to deal with my trousers.

Modern, clean and really good location. Staff were helpful friendly, and the rooms were cleaned perfectly. Love the ability to Chromecast our own shows, and the iPad controls for the room is really convenient with the ability to set alarm. Definitely will recommend and will consider staying here again.

There should be one lift dedicated for the higher floors, instead of one for 1-13. Going down in the morning is crazy. The showers need to have better water drainage and the room was smaller than we expected, but it was still extremely comfortable.

The hotel is very well located just 8 to 10 min walk from Taipei Central Station. The modern rooms are small but very functional, clean and offer nice views over the city as your bed is literally hugging the window. The staff at the Citizen M Taipei are top notch! Friendly and outgoing they make you feel right away welcome and at home. Kim and Jeanne at the reception went out of their way to help out with advice for day trips that I otherwise most likely would not have undertaken. Manager Emma is running a tight ship which pays off! A great stay when in Taipei!
