Loved the location, cleanliness and professional staff! The hotel is situated along the main road and right next to Ximending! Super easy to just pop by the popular shopping street and lug our shopping loot back to the hotel. Love how the lobby in the hotel is equipped with a self cloak room where you can lock up your luggages after checking out and a drinks bar where you can chill in the lobby with a cup of coffee/tea. The hotel also provides 2 bottles of water everyday. No noise pollution can be heard from our room despite being in the midst of a busy street.

Our room was alittle small, couldnt open up my 28inch luggage properly and still have space to walk around the bed.

The location was awesome and the room was really pretty and clean. For the price point i really felt it was really worth it. If I go to Taipei, I would choose to stay in this hotel for more nights instead.

Great location in Ximen! Located at the fringe of Ximending, the hotel allows you to experience the lively neighbourhood a few steps away, yet being peaceful enough for restful sleep. There are many F&B, retail and entertainment options in the area that are open till late so you're spoiled for choice. The hotel lobby is well designed, with plenty of seating areas and complimentary coffee/tea so guests can return for a quick break should they be tired from shopping in the neighbourhood. The room was suitably sized and had a great view of the city. The bathroom has both a tub and a shower area, with the Japanese style bath stool and bucket. I like that they inform you in advance of their cleaning schedule (once every two days), but if you do require cleaning on non-cleaning days, you can ask for it. Overall, I had a wonderful, comfortable stay.

As it is a new hotel, it does not show up on Google maps yet so way-finding can be slightly challenging. Its entrance faces away from you if you walk from Ximen Station exit 6, so you may not spot it easily. It was quite a walk getting to the hotel with luggage (via Ximen) as there are many escalators and elevators along the way that you need to take to get to different parts of the stations and levels, and the station is busy with many people. However, there are other ways to get to the hotel, such as walking from Beimen Station. It may be easier above ground with less crowd and more walking space. I think they provided two pillow types in the room but they were both too soft for my liking.

The location was perfect for a first time traveller to Taipei who is interested in food and shopping. It is also close to Taipei Main Station which helps you travel to other cities in Taiwan. The staff were always friendly and the amenities were great (especially the unlimited water bottles!)

The hotel would be improved if there were more equipment in the gym and a swimming pool.

First time in this hotel, I am impressed with the facilities, The hotel location is excellent (close to Ximen Night Market), close to MRT. Regarding the hotel, the room is clean and reasonably spacious, the staff is very nice and amenities. For Muslim travellers, Halal food is within walking distance and there are many convenience stores nearby (7-11, Family Mart).

The location is good and staff is polite. My stay at the hotel had been comfortable and easy. Especially like it when it provides mineral water!

The dryers are old and one of them is faulty. It would be better if the hotel can provide shower cap.

The property is very clean and located right in the heart of Ximen district. Also, the hotel is one stop away from Taipei Main station.

Great style. Super friendly staff. Great location for public transport. In the middle of Ximen burt quiet. Responsible fact that the room is cleaned every second day (fresh towels and water are handed out every day).

Solaria is conveniently located at the fringe of the main Ximending tourist belt so it's environment is less crowded yet close everything (food & shopping galore!). The service is excellent and the room is great!
