very friendly staff since the moment we arrived. I could speak Mandarin but I also really appreciated that the staff was very willing to speak English to my partner. breakfast spread (both Taiwanese and western breakfast) were amazing. Loved the pineapple cakes and bought extras to bring back home! also loved the comfortable slippers from the room and wanted to buy a pair but too bad my size was not available.

on the day we checked out, there were some maintenance going on and air con in the lobby was probably not on which made it quite warm. this was when we waited for our uber to the airport

Well maintained New resort. Friendly staff. Very clean n Spacious rooms. Stayed on a high floor unit with very good view to the city. Free in room bites n full access to well stocked mini fridge drinks. Limited food choices but adequate

Strange and inflexible policy that limits checked out guest usage of public facilities.[up to 2pm] Considering you are up in the "mountain" n need to fill hours of waiting time before your departure. I can understand the limitations of late checkout but use of public facilities? Resort is not price in a cheap range n yet.... it was a nice stay till we encounter such an inflexible policy. Its quite a shame...

Lived up to its 5 stars status, all staff in hotel are well trained, all processes are well managed. Generous in their supply of room's daily top up. We had a family room, with our own onsen pool and cold pool. Great view as well. Set Breakfast to choose and it was fine. Car park available. French and Chinese restaurant to choose for dinner too.

Maybe it should consider to have laundry service.

The embience and the size of our room. I only paid a fraction of the price for a smaller room as compared to the ryokan in Hakone in Japan. This is superb. I will definitely be coming back again!!!!!! Absolutely fabulous.

I didn't know that we need to make reservation for the French restaurant, and since I only stay for a night, I didn't get to eat there. If only I knew, I would have made a reservation in advance when I booked the hotel.

Overall was an excellent in room hot spring experience. Super professional and attentive front office staff. Super comfy room with coffee machine, tea, minibar, plum wine, fruits, snacks. Nice mountain view at balcony. Huge hot spring tub fit 2 plus size adults. Genuine hot spring water at 55 degree. Very yummy taiwanese style breakfast set.

Too expensive even though is a perfect stay

The white hot spring is the best one I have ever had. It accompanies with a cold water bath. The room is spacious, clean and comfortable. The min bar is complimentary. There is nothing to complain about.

The hotel is far away from metro station. You may only access the hotel through taxi or with their vehicle.

Chinese breakfast was not the best, the salmon and the egg were a bit hard to chew. The coffee was ok. With the price of the accommodation, I expect the quality of food should be top of the game but it seems not the case. The smell of cooking was very strong in the air during the dinner time. couldn’t enjoy the onsen in the room if you wanted to open the window.

If this is in your budget…go ASAP. Breakfast was good, the in room hot/cold tubs were amazing, snacks were fantastic, staff were so kind, the rooms were comfortable, and the pool was beautiful. Highly highly recommend.

The overall elegance of the hotel, the quietness of the common spaces, the comfort of the many varieties of hot baths and outdoor pool, the size of the room, the free fruit/snacks/drinks, the free shuttle bus from MRT Beitou station…

On the higher price range.

Too many rules - eg no snacks at pool, no alcohol after restaurant closes (at 8?) etc
