Silken Hotel

Clean room, friendly staff and good location. It is close to several main attractions in the northern part of Taipei. Restaurants, convenient stores and orange line subway station are within walking distance. There are free beverages and snacks in the lounge.

1. There is no luggage rack in the room. I requested one, but they don’t have it. 2. The bottom of the bathtub is higher than the bathroom floor. I fell when I got out of the bathtub the first night because my legs are not long enough to reach the floor. There should be a sigh to warn the guests.

There was free snacks and coffee in the lobby for the guests, the staff were happy to help us book a cab to the airport and the cleaning service was very good too. The room matched the website perfectly, we booked the triple room and it was not only spacious but had a sitting area and a lot of table area too to sit at.

The hotel interior was more old compared to the model design of the rooms, which gives people a wrong impression. It can be more modern to match how nice the hotel rooms are!

Excellent location, just a five minute walk from the MRT. The hotel is surrounded by restaurants, 7 - 11 shops, coffee shops (including a Starbucks) and there is a nice little night market close by where they sell cheap and delicious food. The hotel room was nice and clean, clean linen and towels are provided each days as well as free toiletries. Free bottles of water, coffee and tea are also available in the room and they are provided whenever you run out of them. Free snacks and hot drinks are available at the reception. The hotel stuff is nice and helpful, they assisted me when I lost my wallet on the public transports (the wallet was found with everything in it by the way). WiFi is very good by the way.

There is nothing bad to say about this hotel, maybe the fact that the location can be little noisy because of the traffic on the street. It’s a fairly transited area but honestly that didn’t bother me that much.

This hotel was pretty nice, it is definitely an older building that has been remodeled. The room was very clean and nice. The staff at the desk spoke English and there was free coffee and snacks in the lobby. The location is pretty good and there is a metro station and several bus stops within a 10 mintue walk.

The only slight inconvenience we had was that it was a bit difficult to unlock the door with the key card we were given. We had to scan it 4-5 times before the door unlocked. On the inside, the security chain for the door was quite flimsy as well. Other than that, we didn't have any problems

Located in an older area of Taipei, the accommodation is surrounded by local shops and has proximity to Shuangcheng night market. Nearby, there are various local food options, including crispy donuts. The room offers more space than the typical Taipei standard and includes a bathtub. Lighting is adequate, and the bed is comfortable. In the lobby, guests can find complimentary coffee and snacks. Umbrellas are available for borrowing, which proved useful during rainy weather.

I think it's worth the price, nothing really to complain about

Size of room good , plentiful amenities . i would have given top grade if one of my favorite items had not disappeared. location not bad , needs little walking (5' to bus , 10' to MRT)

My Sennheiser CX sport earphones vanished from the room. we turned the place inside out looking for them . I only used them in bed to watch netflix etc. Daily, for 5 years . I could not possibly have lost them. Did they get wrapped in the laundry and sent to wash , i will never know. But it added 120€ to my bill...

Great amenities, including a water filter and coffee machine along with snacks in the lobby. rooms were very clean and well kept great water pressure in the shower and an excellent assortment of toiletries were provided every day. all the staff were super helpful in giving us directions and checking us in even when we got in very late. Excellent location right next to a major bus stop.

Please provide two more pillows.

The room was surprisingly very spacious, with a mini living room and couch. The toilet was also pretty nice with a wide tub, modern Japanese toilet (with all the buttons and heated seat) and super huge mirror. They also had unlimited free coffee, cocoa, drinking water and snacks! The staff were also very helpful and communication was not a problem. The nearest MRT was also around a 5-minute walk, there are a couple of convenience stores and even a supermarket nearby.

It's not too far from the city center (train station) but it is quite quiet and easily accessible by bus and metro, a few minutes walking needed. The room facilities are good and clean, room space is fair enough with open window so I can take some fresh air in the morning. The hotel is surrounded by the local shops so you can find local small restaurants for foods. I had a good staying here for 3 nights, will be in my list for the next time.

They have a great staff who are very helpful. The location is great, close to the metro, plenty of places to eat, with a night market very close and many good restaurants in the area. There is a laundry also very close. We give an 8 instead of 10 because there is not much space to hang or store clothing. But would definitely consider staying here again.
